PART 3. EK AUR DHOOM DHADAKKA

Geet smiled happily as the Pandit announced the couple to get up and do the Saat Phere. She always felt the Saptapadi was the most beautiful ritual in a marriage and she was always eager to watch it happening. As the couple continued to do the rounds of the pure fire Geet threw flowers on them along with rest of the people around her.

As Geet turned around to get more flowers, she came face to face with Maan. Luckily she did not crash with him right now. "Hatiye baaju!", she told him as she wanted to get more flowers without missing Saptapadi. Maan glared at her, "Kya? Main kyun hatun?" Geet looked at him incredulously and huffed. Not wanting to create a scene she looked to her sides but unfortunately she was surrounded by people throwing flowers as NT and Dev did their Saptapadi. Her only way out was Maan moving and Mr. Khadus seemed to be not interested in moving.

Geet glared at him, "Dekhiye! Mujhe ghussa mat dilaaye! Hatiye yahaan se!" Maan smirked at her and folded his hands against his chest, "Nahi hatunga! Kya karlogi?" Geet's eyes narrowed, "Dekhiye! Mujhe ghussa mat dilaaye! Main ghusse mein kuch bhi kar deti hoon!" Maan looked at her amusedly, "Achcha?" Geet nodded. Maan gave her a smug smile and leaned towards her. He whispered softly to her, "Kya karogi? Mujhe maarogi, peetogi ya kiss karogi?" Geet's jaw dropped open at his words. Hey Babaji! Yeh Khadus aisi baatein kyun kar rahe hain? Abhi inhein mazaa chakhaati hoon! But before she could say anything the Panditji announced that the Saptapadi was over. Geet turned around and looked at the couple in horror. It was her cousin sister's marriage and she missed the Saptapadi! All thanks to this Khadus, she missed her sister's saptapadi! Her eyes narrowed and she turned to look at Maan with anger bubbling in her eyes, "Aapne meri Saat Phere miss karwa diye! Shaadi ki meri favorite part aapne miss karwaa di! Jab hat ne ko bola tab hate kyun nahi?" Maan just shrugged and looked at her innocently, "Tumne please nahi bola isiliye!" "Kya?", Geet asked in shock as Maan gave her a smirk and walked away leaving a fuming Geet behind.

Geet looked up and mumbled, "Hey Babaji! Kis ghade se paala padwa diya aapne! Achcha hoga ki yeh Khadus mujhe phir kabhi na mile!" She looked down and consoled to herself, "Bas Geet puttar! Tu tension na le! Bas ek baar yeh shaadi ho jaane de! Phir tujhe iss khadus ki shakal phir se dekhne ki koi zaroorat nahi padegi!" She looked on as Dev filled sindoor in NT's maang and tied Mangalsutr in her neck.
