What a peaceful day to go to work with my dear wife. She doesn't work with me in my company anymore considering the history of baby making we had done in my office. Things never got done and like a dutiful wife she quit so I can "focus" on my work. If only that was possible now. Whenever I try to get work done I recieve a call from home or school about my kids especailly Manavi. I always feel for her future husband..poor guy is going to know what kind of a disaster she really is and I will sit back and enjoy the show. Right now, Geet works as an assistant for my friend Vicky. She is a part timer there since her dad is always up to something and plus she gets few hours outside of the house like I do. Maan looks at his wife sitting right next to him and leans in closer holding her hand. She looks at him with confusion and then looking at the driver.
"What are you doing?"
"Lets skip work and hang out together..like bunking classes. Isn't that fun?"
"Maan..you are such a kid...don't you have any meetings today?"
"I am the owner of my company..am sure the company will survive if I don't show up for one day."
"No...we can go on holidays together with the kids"
"Yeah we will do that but for now..I need to spend some time with my wife...what do you say?" (He leans closer to her almost breathing down her neck tickling her slowly.) "come on pretty please..."
"Fine what will I tell my boss"
"don't worry I already told him you can't come.." (he winks at her making her blush) "Driver here take this money and take taxi home..I can drive from here"
"Okay sir"
Meanwhile in school:
Okay everyone get in line...my assistant for the week Arnav (she glares at him with anger) turend out to be the wrong choice. So who wants to be next? (A group of 15 kids stood in line, mostly boys and some girls raising their hands at the same time yelling "me me me me" Maanavi walked around the kids like Gabar Singh pouting and deciding who to pick.
"I got an idea since Arnav betrayed me in front of my family...whoever comes up with unique punishment for him, where no one gets hurt, then that person will be my assistant for the week. So who has some ideas"
"I got one..what if we make him say I love you to a guy teacher?"
"Nah.." (Maanavi said) "Too easy and it has already been done. You are out...anyone else?"
"What if he yells oye buddi to the principal and run?"
"Hmm that could work...what else"
"He has to pretend to be a monkey whenever we say "Monkey" through out the whole day and even eat like one?"
"That is a great idea...Arnav that is your punishment for today...do you accept?"
"Yes, ma'am I do..."
"good...Annie...you are my assistant for the week...everyone else is dismissed. Here carry my bags to the class..I am getting tired"
"Yes ma'am."
At Home:
"hmm hmm..i am so bored at home.."
"Me too"
Both Mohindar and Dadima were home while everyone else were either in school or at work.
"Lets go out to my members club...we meet at the park daily"
"What will I do there? You guys will be busy talking about your guy stuff"
"nonsense...we have fun..there are many guys that you can flirt with...don't tell Geet but I am talking to a woman right now..she comes to the park everyday.."
"haw...you are a grandpa now..and you are thinking about dating?"
"So what...I am still young...look at my dance moves" (He gets up and does a Michael Jackson move) "So what do you say? Are you in or out?"
"I am in...lets go"
"Sir and madam I can't let you go out...Maan sir has told us specifically not to let you guys go..."
Mohindar winks at Dadima and walks toward the servant...
"Listen here young man...what your sir said doesn't matter to me..but what does matter is what I will say." (He takes out something from his pocket and hands it to him) "Heres something for you to enjoy your day off with."
"Sir this is 10 rupees"
"10 rupees that you didn't have before son. Now, why don't you move out of the way and enjoy your day off"
"Am sorry sir, I can't do that.."
"Okay, then its fine...why don't you go and make both of us some coffee..."
"I will sir..be right back"
As soon as the servant left, Mohindar and Dadima left the house from the back enterence. The servant came out with the tea to find them missing.
"sir is gonna kill me for sure...what should I do? Maybe I will take a day off and hope they come back on time..where is the 10 rupees that he gave me?" (Mohindar laughed as both took taxi toward the park)
Maan and Geet:
"Wow Maan you know how good it feels to have some time off together? I missed you so much!" (She hugs him as both look at the view from their hotel room.)
"I know..its great to do this like before..."
"Hmmm..."
Maan brings her closer as he starts to nibble on her ear moving down to her neck. Geet holds him tight just enjoying their closeness together. He picks her up bringing her toward the bed.
"I am love you till you can't breath" (Maan says making her blush...) "You have no idea how long I wanted to say that to you"
"Just shut up and do it already"
Maan quickly gets off the bed removing her clothes, slipping in the process when he couldn't get the pants off his leg making Geet laugh..he jumps on her kissing her madly while trying to remove her clothes. Just when he was about to enter, their phone rings.
"what the hell..I bet its from school.." (Maan says as he picks up the phone) "Hello, yes..hmm What did Maanavi do now? Wait.he did what?" (Geet sits up quickly as Maan tried to gather his thoughts) "Okay will be there"
"what happened?"
"Its Rohan..he got into a fight with a kid and got a black eye"
"somebody punched my baby? OH hell no...I am gonna go and beat that kid"
"woah calm down Geet...I bet its Rohan's fault."
"My babies are never at fault..." (She huffs as both get ready..Maan curses his faith or loosing this precious moment with his wife again)
At the park:
Mohindar and Dadima reach the park together..he was showing her everything as if he had owned the park and everyone around it. Dadma was so excited to see everything and he even introduced her to his friends who couple of them tried hitting on her.
"Fellas be nice to her..she is my daugther's in-law..."
"Ohh how can this sweet thing be related to that khadus son-in-law of yours?" (Dadima looks at Modhindar when they called Maan khadus..)
"Lets not talk about him today huh...well will you look at that.." (the boys whistle as some of old woman (arond their age) comes walking by.) "where are you guys going? I have a new friend to introduce to you..come" (the women comes to them..) "This is savitri devi..she is my daughter's in-law...why don't you show her the park around and become friends?"
"Well as long as we don't talk to you guys then no problem.."
"So much attitude..I like..." (Mohindar pops his collar and winks at the women making them laugh...)
"Come Savitri lets not stay around these men any longer..."
"bring her back the way she went" (mohindar yelled after them)
School:
Rohan sat on the bench looking down while his parents mostly Geet argues with the princpal. He could hear his mom yell through the closed door making him more embarrased. Maanavi looks at him with a smile feeling bad for him. The whole day was going fine when during lunch time some kids decided to tease him. Yes, he is michevious at home and around the people he knows but outside of his confort zone he becomes shy and afraid. Rohan was having his lunch peacefully when couple of kids decided to tease him. Usually, Maanavi is always looking out for him and Akira and makes sure no one teases them but that leads to more teasing always having your sister stand up for you.
"I told you to let me handle the kids...they were scared of me. Why did you fight?"
"I don't need you to fight for me..I handled the kids on my own"
"Yeah now mom is going to yell at me for not helping you. She has already embarassed you at the office now its my turn. This is why we gave the principal dad's number, he is really soft compare to mom."
"I know they were together so had no other option. This is so bad"
Both stopped talking when they heard the door open. Geet walks up to Rohan and examins his eye carefully while Maanavi gives pleading look at Maan to help them. He assures them.
"uhh Geet lets forget this and talk about this at home. Kids go in the car." (Both nod quickly wanting to get out of whatever situation Geet was going to put them in.)
"no not before I talk to the boy's parents. He needs to apologize for being a bully."
"ohh mom its okay. Don't need to do this." (both said at the same time)
"you guys either sit in the car quietly or be quiet here."
"Geet do you really think that is necessary?"
"Yes, it is. No one bullies my kids and gets away with it espeically if the other person is at fault. Rohan show me the kid the school is about to be over...let's go."
"But mom..this is going to make it worse. Dad say something. She is going to embarass us."
"Am sorry but I am with your mom on this and plus I am scared of your mom's anger. Whyd you think I never get her mad? Anyway, that kid needs to be taught a lesson"
"and you young girl, the principal told me about what you have been up to in school. Wait till you get home" (maanavi glares at the principal who just runs inside fearing her anger.) " Go sit in the car"
"I want to watch what is going to happen."
"Maanavi why don't you grab your sister Akira and sit in the car. Don't make me mad" (Geet said)
"Fine..I never get anything fun." (She whines before walking away.)
"lead me to the boy"
Park:
"You cheated! Give me my money back" (One of Mohindar's friend yelled)
"If you didn't pay attention that is not my fault. I didn't cheat..." (Mohindar spoke casually as he counted the money he won from teen pati game)
"Yeah you did...you always cheat"
"Prove it! Anyway, I gotta go" (Dadima and the other ladies came by from their long day. All the guys became calm and started fixing themselves to impress them.)
"We should come back here again" (Dadima said with excitment like a little girl)
"We will..tomorrow..."
"Ohh by the way...we are hosting a kitty party at my house next week..you fellas are welcome to join us...my daughter-in-law and son are going to be out of the town. Savitri is coming..right?"
"Of course...anyway see you guys tomorrow..lets go Mohindar"
"Right bye guys"
"Will we reach home on time?"
"Don't worry I did this many times...nothing is going to happen"
School:
"Mom you know what why don't you go home and I will handle the kid myself. I don't want to stress you out." (Rohan said as he tried pushing her toward the car where Maanavi and Akira were sitting trying to push one another to watch what was going on. They had strict insturctions not to get out of the car or else and knowing how their mother can be last thing they wanted to do was piss her off)
"Just point me to the kid and I will handle everything else."
"I am not going to, dad say something? Please"
"Just point me to the kid before I get really mad and announce what is going on...you have three seconds..."
"But..."
"1...2..."
"okay okay there he is and that is his mom" (Geet smiles and holds his hand as she walks toward the kid. )
"Excuse me"
"Can I help you?"
"yes...I would like your kid to apologize to my kid for punching him on the face"
"Excuse me? What makes you think my son will do that?"
"Mom he is the brother of that girl Maanavi..remember I told you about her?" (The kid says)
"Ohh so she is the mother of that gundi girl..."
"Who did you call gundi?"
"You and your whole family? Now I know, apple does not fall far from the tree. Like mother like daugther"
"What my kids do is not your problem right now I want you and your son to apologize to me and my son."
"what will you do if we dont"
"Ohh lady you dont want to see what I will do...just apologize and I will forget alll of this..okay?" (Geet said with a sarcistic smile)
"Why don't you show me?" (Geet steps closer to her in anger. Maan holds Geet back knowing anymore would be trouble of her.)
"Listen its obvious the kids were wrong and its better if they apolgize to one another first" (Maan said)
"I am not apologzing to him...he punched me on the face" (Rohan said)
"Maan you are right..lets get out of here.." (As Geet walks toward the women she bumps into her purposly hitting her shoulders making her loose balance. Maan shakes his head knowing there wil be problem now)
"Oye what do you think of yourself?" (The woman yelled behind her..Geet stops looking at her innocently)
"what did I do?" (Geet feigns innocence)
"You pushed me on purpose"
"Did I? I was walkng and didn't realize when I hit you...see I will show you.." (Geet bumps into her again by "accident" to show her the demonstration)
"Teri toh" (The woman charges after Geet and just before she was about to hit Geet, she moves out of the way causing her to fall on the ground. All the kids including some of the facility laugh at the woman on the floor. She gets up in anger.) "You will pay..." (Geet walks towards her in attitude)
"What are you going to do? Everyone saw that you tried to hit me...imagine if you actually do you might end up in jail for harrasment and your kid already left a proof on my son's face. The choice is yours..apologize or I will call the police. Look around you..there are so many witnesses."
"I am sorry.." (The woman finally says after she realizes there is no other way out..Geet points to her son as well)
"I am sorry Rohan..I will not do this again"
"its okay" (Rohan said)
"Friends?"
"I will see if you are worthy enough of my friendship.." (Rohan said with an attitude and walks away.)
"And listen if your kid goes anywhere near my kids again then I will personally deal with you..."
"Yeah mom...!!!" (All the kids cheared as she got in the car. Maan looks at Geet with a smile..that was the reason he fell in love with her..she wasn't afraid and stood up for what's right)
