Part 5

Maan was getting ready to the office, he had an important meeting and so he got ready too early, "Nakul" Maan yelled searching for something in his wardrobe, "Maan," Dadi maa who was standing in the kitchen looked puzzled, "usually he used to call out after 8 only na, now what happened today," Dadi maa thought and signed Nakul, who was standing near her to go to Maan's room, and Nakul too nodded and went up,

"Nakul," Maan yelled again, and his voice roared shaking the whole Mansion, "Baba ji," Geet freaked out who was standing before the mirror, she guessed it must be Maan, Dadi maa's grandson from the intro Dadi maa gave her, but his voice was too much scary in real, Geet hide inside her room, afraid to go out and after some times she calmed down as the voice didn't come up, yet Geet didn't want to go out until she is been called,

Maan rushed down the stair in his business attire and Dadi maa looked at him surprised, "Maan, it's only 7.30 and you are ready," Dadi maa asked as Maan came towards her and got her blessings, "Oh Dadi maa, I have an important meeting today, since Adi was not there yesterday, I wasn't able to complete the budget sheet, so going to the office now, Adi is already there" Maan said and turned around,

"Maan, your breakfast," Dadi maa asked, "Dadi maa, I can't have my breakfast now at this time, will take care of that later," Maan said without turning back and started to walked up, just then Dadi maa remember about Geet, "But Maan, I need to talk to you," Dadi maa said trying to stop him, "Dadi maa please" Maan shouted up, "Don't stop me now, we will talk after I come back, ok, now just leave me" Maan said and rushed away,

"What am I going to do with him," Dadi maa thought and started to do her work of ordering, Geet was in her room and was feeling bored, she had never been rested like this before, she used to work from morning 5 to night 11 but here, she felt too free, and she felt uncomfortable as she was not used to it, after 8.15 Geet decided to go out, and went down stairs,

"Dadi maa," Geet called her up as she saw Dadi maa near the diner, "Geet, you got up already" Dadi maa asked and Geet nodded an yes, "Can I help you," Geet asked as she stood near her, "Help, no Geet, you sit down relaxed and first have your breakfast , then you can help me," Dadi maa said and Geet sat down on the chair, and Dadi maa served her the breakfast, "Dadi maa, please you sit down, I will serve you," Geet said feeling uncomfortable as she saw Dadi maa serving up,

"Geet, I told you na," Dadi maa said in a strict tone, "Eat now," Dadi maa ordered and Geet too started to eat her breakfast, "enough, Dadi maa", Geet said as she had her little breakfast, "Geet, what is this, even a sparrow would eat more, come on, eat now," Dadi maa said as she kept two more parata in her plate, and Geet obeyed her, Geet wanted to ask for her grandson but she thought not to finally.

After the Breakfast, Dadi maa took Geet a tour around the Mansion, and Geet too walk with her amazed by the big palace and its beauty, as they were walking by Geet suddenly stopped before a collection of pictures, hanging on the big wall, there were lots of pictures but she was looking at only one, Dadi maa realized that Geet stopped up and looked at her, "Geet, what happened," Dadi maa asked and Geet pointed to the photo in the middle,

"Oh, That is Maan, My grandson, Maan, Maan Singh Khurana" Dadi maa said and Geet just then realized that yesterday she saw him for real and it wasn't her dream, "Come on," Dadi maa walked her up, but Geet's heart was struck to that photo even, his big eyes and anger self was screaming up in the picture, Geet don't know why her heart was so much attracted towards him, she wanted to see that picture for a few more minutes, but she herself decided against it,

The Day went well except for Geet's heart still playing the face of Maan again and again from Amritsar, his glowing face in the candle light flame yesterday, and Geet was feeling nervous even to think about it, "He is the one that Nakul and Mohan was talking about, no it can't be, someone who risks his life to save someone else's that too some unknown person, can never be that bad," Geet thought and she remember his anger yelling at her in Amritsar and his tight hold in her arms, which pained even as she thinks,

"I can't keep thinking whether you went to hotel or lying on road half way," Maan voice echoed in her ears, it was filled with anger but Geet can see an concern and care for her in those words, "He cared for me, whether I would reach the hotel safely or not, such a good heart and how can he be bad," Geet thought, "after all he is Dadi maa's blood, her love and emotion will surely be in his blood too na," Geet thought,

The day darken and it was 8.30 when Dadi maa and Geet sat for dinner, "Dadi maa," Geet called as she saw Dadi maa was looking upset, "What happened, Dadi maa," she asked slowly unable to control her concern for her, "Nothing Geet, Maan didn't come home yet so only" Dadi maa said with a smile, "If you are this worried, you can call him and ask, where he is na," Geet asked slowly

Dadi maa smiled with a nodded, "No, No, if he was in his office and if I called him, then that's all, his anger would bust out and some poor soul there would get hurt, mostly it would be Adi," Dadi maa said like it was some fun thing but Geet was looking at her with her wide eyes scared "Don't worry Geet, it's his behavior, he will come when the work gets over and I am not worried about him, I was suppose to tell him about you, as he doesn't know you are here, so wanted to introduce you guys officially to each other, for that only I am waiting" Dadi maa said,

Geet's heart started to beat high, even to think of meeting Maan, "Geet, Geet" Dadi maa shook her up as Geet was frozen up in her thought, "what happened," Dadi maa asked, and Geet nodded a nothing, "Ok, go, you take rest," Dadi maa said and Geet nodded and went upstairs, it's been beyond 11.00 and Geet wasn't getting any sleep as she had slept well in the afternoon, and the deep silence in the mansion was making her tensed and so Geet decided to take a tour around the Mansion all by herself,

Geet never took the left wing of the mansion as she never went that side, and so Geet slowly walked up and was wandering around, the big pillars and flowing curtains was looking so filmy and Geet was enjoying the tour, she walked up a stairs which led her to an huge vacant space without any roof to cover it, it was beautiful to look at and so Geet went towards, as she went there, she stopped shocked as her eyes fall on the center of the floor,

At first she thought it's a statue, with a golden amour shining in the moon light, she stared at it for a quite long moment, until it moved up to change it posture and Geet's eyes widen up, she went close to it as her heart started to beat high and she found it breathing and the sweat up, Geet held her heart as she realized she was looking at an guy, he was facing away from her, leaving his muscular back to treat her eyes,

His shoulders shifted as he stretched his hands and it was perfect like Greek god statues that she saw in her books, she was staring at him and was feeling some kind of excitement, she wanted to move away, but she felt her legs where struck, so as her eyes was not moving away from the sweat filled skin, he eyes widen up big as he turned his face sideways, "Maan" she realized whom she was starting at,

A new kind of fear filled her heart but she was not able to move from there, but she was so struck in her place, her legs were frozen up and were not moving a bit, Geet held the pillar for her support and she was looking at Maan, it was an beauty to watch, the sweat drops spill up in the air from his hair ever time he turn his head, his black eyes shining as diamond, this long hands playing in the air with the stunt moves, his hovering jumps and kicks in the air, she was so mesmerized,

Maan was doing his stunts with his full concentration until he felt that he is been watched, he was sure that Dadi maa would have been slept and his servants would have been gone home, then Maan thought and stopped his stunt and turned to look back, Geet saw that he had stopped his stunt and turning around, she too hide herself behind the pillar and she was shivering from head to toe and she held the curtains tight,

As she held the curtains the little bells hanging on the curtains made jiggle sound, making Geet's heart stop and Maan turn around, "who is there," Maan yelled up and he was sure some was there, and Geet held her heart and was looking hell scared, and she leaned on the pillar and she felt like suffocating, Maan stepped up and went towards the jiggle sound, and stood there, behind the pillar,

"Who is it," Maan yelled again, Geet felt like died as she heard his voice so close to her, and she realized he was standing close to her and she slowly tried to peep beyond the pillar, Maan was holding the pillar and was looking around, "am I dreaming again," Maan thought as he searched up, Geet saw Maan close to her, his hard sweaty face beyond the pillar and his mesmerizing eyes close, Geet was feeling something inside her mind, that she never felt before, the kind of emotions that was raising in her heart was way beyond her explanation, she want to look at his face and stay there forever,

Maan turned his face a bit and Geet realized she might be caught and rushed from there, Maan who was looking around found the disappearing shadow in the corner, he was sure he wasn't dreaming, someone is here Maan thought, rushed behind the shadow and Geet tried to get away from him,

After an long hide and seek game, Maan got tired and came and stood in the middle on the space as he can have a clear view and he saw her walking slowly around hiding behind the curtains and this time Maan was sure he wasn't dreaming or imagine and so went near her and caught her hand and pulled her in to the space, Geet never expected this sudden action and was scared like Hell, Maan as he pulled her to the light, Geet tried to escape but Maan held her arms tight and pulled her close make her trapped in his closeness and she looked at him with her pleading eyes, Maan felt an little happiness, as he wasn't dreaming, and looked at her pleading eyes and Geet was looking to his deep eyes,

But in few minutes Maan got his sense up, "what the," he thought staring at her, "she is the one who he saw in Amritsar, but here, "who the hell are you and what the hell you doing here," Maan asked in his anger filled voice, his eyes burning as fire, but Geet was so struck in his hold and wasn't able to speak a work, Maan's anger raised up and his hold got tightened, "ahh," Geet winced in pain and Maan let her free,

And he stepped back, "who are you," Maan yelled again, "Da, da, Dadi maa," Geet try to speak, "Dadi maa, Dadi maa bought you here, to stay with us," Maan asked as he thought he knows why she is here, "hmm," Geet just nodded, Maan controlled his raising anger and looked at Geet, "You know why you are here," Maan asked again, "hmmm," Geet nodded a yes again, Maan rushed away from there, with a word,

"What the hell is she thinking in her mind," Maan thought as he entered to his room, "how many times I had told her not to bring any girl with the idea of marriage her to me, but why,. Why isn't she listening to me," Maan roared inside his room, "Every time, when she goes out for marriage or any function she brings up an girl, how many time I had to make it clear to her that I don't want to Marry anyone," Maan thought frustrated,

After what I did last time, I thought she wouldn't dare to bring anyone else in to this house, but looks like I am wrong, I wasn't strong enough, why don't she understand me, why can't she leave me alone," Maan thought and sat on the bed, "and this girl, this one, who doesn't even know to speak, who plays in the mid of the road, this crazy one, is Dadi maa gone Mad," Maan thought feeling so irritated, "if I had only known than I would have let her die there in Amritsar even," Maan anger was eating his brain up,

"Now don't know why this girl had come up to marry me, money and an luxury life I guess," Maan anger was now boiling in his blood, "not any more, let me teach an lesson to Dadi maa and make myself clear, I am gonna treat this girl like hell and make her scream and run away from here, and see this Dadi maa shouldn't dare to bring another one in to this house," Maan decided and he went inside his wash room,

Well I am glad that Maan and Geet finally came face to face. That was beautiful!

But it looks like Maan has made a huge mistake and Geet will have to pay. I hope the grandmother clears up the misunderstanding!
