I love Pride and Prejudice and have watched all versions of it and even read FFs on it but have never gotten a chance to read the book itself! Yeh mere life ki funny kahaani hai! If you liked this similarity wait when I put up DFL - A Deviation! It will have Arnav confessing to Khushi in total Darcy style that is the first proposal of Darcy!😆 That scene is my fav scene "You must allow me to confess to you how ardently I admire and love you..." or something like that! Dont have the book with me so dont know it much but have read the line many times in FFs.😃 My fav version is Colin Firth BBC version. Colin Firth was perfect Darcy!😃
Arhi not only have their personality common with the Lizzie Darcy but also the story is same. Darcy's sister Georgina was duped by Wickham who later on flirted with Lizzie too. Here also Anjali married Shyam who went crazy for Khushi. Darcy's best friend Bingley fell for Lizzie's elder sister Jane and here Aakash fell for Paayal who is Khushi's elder sister. Darcy and Bingley are rich but Bennets are poor. Arnav and Akash are rich and Khushi and Paayal are poor. And Aakash's personality is like Bingley's and Paayal is just like Jane. Arnav refused Payash's marriage but later joined hands with Khushi to get them together. Darcy refused to let Bingley marry Jane and then helped them get together. Now tell me, kitna similarity hai dono mein! I think IPK was inspired from P&P. They only Indianized it and added mirch masala and later it took a different turn warna basic plot mein jyaada farak nahi hai!
Sorry but Daadima is not coming back here!😭 And even though the Arhi in this story seem like P&P couple the story will be different! P&P was just a coincidence, nothing more!😃

Yes, this Arnav and the current Arnav of DFL is similar but they had to be coz flirty Arnav is also a facet of Arnav. Remember? In IPK, he flirted so much with Khushi during Payash haldi and mehendi! I am just showing that version of Arnav here!😉
