Part 13

The day begin well and when Geet walked into the office she saw Adi speaking with Pinky here her desk, "Good Morning Pinky, Good Morning Adi sir," Geet said with a smile, "Good Morning Geet," Both Adi and Pinky wished her with a smile, "Geet, totally really is a good day for you, you have a surprise," Adi said and Geet looked at him puzzled,

"What is it Adi sir," Geet asked eagerly, "the wellington group directors needs a presentation about the ongoing project and they asked you to present it to them, you will doing your first presentation before the board of directors of the whole Wellington group and you got an chance to prove yourself and a great chance to represent our Khurana constructions," Adi said, and Geet looked at him shocked,

"No Adi, no, I can't do it, I mean, no way," Geet said suddenly feeling nervous, "Oie, Geet, are you crazy, this is such a big chance and Sasha would die if she hears this, and it's an great chance to impress our Boss and get a good name," Pinky said and Geet looked at her with a worried face, "Or I could do a mistake and earn myself a big bad name, and also it important for our concern, and if I do wrong, It will be a such an big mistake,"

"No Pinky, no way," Geet said, "But Geet, our clients wish is that you present it and Maan sir too said an yes," Adi said and Geet felt like crying, "this is getting too much," Geet thought and decided to talk with Maan, and went to her cabin and waited for Maan, she was feeling like busting out in tear, she was so nervous, what will happened if she does something stupid,

Geet was sitting worried when she saw Maan entering to his cabin and went towards his cabin and knocked the door, "come in," Maan said and Geet went in, "Good morning Sir," Geet wished and Maan too wished, "Geet I even thought of calling you, Mr.Gupta had called me and said about an presentation to be made and his teams wants you to do the presentation and I said an ok,"

"Geet this is an important presentation, important to our company's reputation," Maan said and looked up and saw Geet in tears and freaked out, "Geet," he jumped from his chair and went towards her, "What happened, did anyone say anything, what happened," Maan asked freaking out, "Geet stop crying you know I hate crying," Maan said and Geet looked at him shocked, for a second she felt it was her Warrior standing before her,

And it gave her more tears and suddenly she missed her Warrior so much, and Maan couldn't bear her tears it was hurting him and he wanted to wiped her tears off and hold her in his arms, "Maan remember you are boss and not her Warrior," Maan said to himself and so took his handkie and gave it to her, "Geet, now stop crying and say what happened," Maan asked,

"Sir, I don't want to do the presentation, I have never done it before, that too before those people, what if I made a mistake, and you will get anger on me and our company's name too will be spoiled and so no sir, I can't," Geet said, "Shut up Geet," Maan said and she looked at him, "why do you always jump into an conclusion before hearing anything fully, you never changed," Maan said and Geet looked at him puzzled as he was speaking as if he knew her for a long time, "Sir," Geet said

And Maan realized he said too much and cover his mistake with his bossy look, "Geet, that's what I was about to say, this is your first presentation and an important one, so I will tell you how to do it, Geet it's nothing, we have planned everything, all you have to do is crisp those details in the plans and answer their questions if any, that's all, come on I will tell you what you have to say, in which order and you note it down and prepare accordingly and present them, ok, it's nothing big, and I will be in that room, and if you forget something I will help you" Maan said and Geet looked at him with a smile, "He is so sweet," Geet's heart screamed,

Geet gained some courage back, "if he is guiding me then now problem, I will do everything perfectly," Geet thought and Said an yes and Maan too started to give her the details and points and Geet was noting it down, it went nearly 45 minutes and Maan loved her eagerness and excitement in this, and he purposeful made her to stay there for longer then it required just to see her and keep her near him,

He felt happy see her near him, and after they finished Geet said she will do it well now, "Geet, I have give you everything, so no mistake, and do well," Maan said and Geet too smiled big, "No Mistakes sir, I will do it very well," Geet said with a big smiled and Maan too smiled and she rushed out, Maan was feeling so happy and alive to see her smile, "My Geet," he said and turned to his work,

Sasha saw what happened and was tensed to the core, she went to the cafeteria and Tasha followed her, "Tasha get me an coffee" Sasha said and Tasha too got the coffee and came and kept before her and saw Sasha holding her head, "Mam, what happened, is everything ok," Tasha asked holding Sasha's head, "Leave it Tasha," Sasha said, and Told what she heard and saw,

"I can't understand what the hell is wrong with MK, he is doing everything for her, help her to the core and he had never done that before for anyone, it's like he wants her to do well like it's his job to make her do well, but why, I am getting irritated," Sasha yelled up, "Oh My god," Tasha said holding her head just like Sasha, "Mam, looks like Geet will become the team head after this presentation, and take your position, if she does, what will you do Mam" Tasha said, "Tasha, shut up, no one can take my position," Sasha said walking up and Tasha followed her,

"Hmmm, she will become a team head if she presents the presentation only na, what if she doesn't," Sasha asked, "Mam," Tasha asked knowing something is going inside Sasha's evil mind, "Tasha, Geet will not present it," Sasha said, and Tasha looked at her puzzled, "But how Mam, you want me to take and come the notes MK gave her," Tasha asked, "No need Tasha, let her prepare, and work on it, and tomorrow lets have fun," Sasha said with a plan in her mind,

Geet was working on the presentation all day and Maan made sure that she is not disturbed, and when Geet finally finished it was 7.30, Geet copied everything in a CD and kept it inside her draw and Pinky was waiting for her and so they went off, Dev was in an restaurant with his friends and when he was above to leave it me dashed on a girl,

"Sorry," they both said and Dev recognized her immediately, "Meera," he screamed in joy of meeting his school friend, "Dev," Meera too jumped up, "Oh my god, how are you," Dev asked, "Hmm, after our final exams you disappeared and now asking how are you, so mean Dev, I don't know why am I feeling happy to see you, I should be anger on you" Meera said,

"All those years inside those boarding school walls, we were like twins always hanging out and suddenly not even a bye, just gone," Meera said walking away from him, "Meera, Meera, listen yar, as soon as I was out of the school, I didn't even go to my home, I directly went to Canada for my higher and I don't know how to contact you too, and Bro's strict order is that I should not come back until I complete my studies," Dev said stopping her,

"You Know, Maan bhai na," Dev asked as they sat on the table nearby, "Ya, your serious hardcore bother, he is still like that, like I do remember how everyone was hell scared, everyone especially our principle when he comes there, but he was so sweet to me," Meera said feeling special with a smile, "So is he married," Meera asked, "Now what you are enquiry about my brother, don't know why all the girls do this," Dev said,

"Meera, let's go, it's late," Dev said and Meera looked at him puzzled look, "I am not acting to be a good boy ok, Bro will be waiting for me," he said and Meera nodded a ok, and they started walking out, "So Dev, what your plan for the V-Day" Meera asked and Dev looked at puzzled, "What day," he asked, "Valentine's day Dev, you forgot it, just two days to go," Meera said,

"Damn I forget that Meera, after being to India I just forgot everything, hey, I had an idea," Dev said and Meera looked at him shocked, "it's been a long gap right, so we can call all our friends in contact and make a big celebration, on Valentine's day and ask everyone to bring their new friends and Valentine too, it will be fun" Dev said, "Sure," Meera said immediately, "but you have to help me, you only had to make the list of our old friends, I don't have any contacts with my old friends,"

"Don't worry, we are all there na," Adi said patting on her shoulders, "Be relaxed, you had prepared well right, so don't worry," Adi said, "Sir, did the board of Director came," Geet asked, "what, you don't know," Adi asked and Geet looked at him puzzled, "Geet, they are big shots, they will not come here for an presentation and all, they will be in their office only, and it will be an video conferencing presentation,"

"They will see, speak and listen to you from US, Via video conferencing, it's technology," Adi said and Geet felt an relief, "Thank god, atleast it would not be like those guys sitting in front of me and staring at it," Geet said, "Geet, it's time, MK and Mr.Gupta is already on the conference room, and me and pinky are going in, you too take the CD and come there soon, ok," Adi said and Geet to nodded and went to her cabin,

Geet prayed and opened her draw and was shocked, the CD was not there, "Baba ji, where did the CD go," Geet panicked and started searching the whole cabin, but it was not there, and her phone rang and she took it, "Geet, come soon, it's gonna start," Adi said and cut the call, Geet turned around and saw Tasha looking at her hiding herself and as soon as Geet saw her she ran away,

"Tasha," Geet thought, "Damn, Sasha and Tasha, they had done this," Geet thought and her anger raised up, " but can't accuse them now, Sasha Mam will create a big scene and everyone are waiting for me in the hall, ok, I will make a new CD," Geet thought and opened her computer and found it blank, all her document, everything was gone, "Baba ji, what's these," Geet panicked, " No, This isn't happening, No," Geet thought totally freaking out,

"Now what will I do, everyone is waiting there for me, and Maan sir, will never forgive me, and his reputation and his company's pride will be destroyed, Baba ji, why, what will I do now, what will I do now, I have nothing in my hand, the CD, the documents, everything is gone," Geet said as her tears flowed from her eyes and she dropped down on the floor on her knees, and hold on to it and started crying not knowing what to do,

"She failed, now her job, her both jobs will be gone, one Maan's gonna throw her out this time for sure and so her mission will be stopped," Geet thought crying up and she took the locket from her bag and held it to her heart and cried up, "Warrior, I lost it, totally lost it," she said crying up,
