Part 14
Maan and Geet together in a mission

Morning sun hit Maan's face and he got up with a new feel of happiness, don't know why, he was feeling so good, after seeing Geet and speaking with her yesterday, he was feeling good as it was so easy for him to think Geet as an good girl than to think her bad, he jumped from his bed and he felt an urge to do something to help her, he was feeling peaceful to be on her side,

Maan slept well yesterday and he also dream about Geet, just her face with those brown eyes and pinky lips, it was more of the memories then his dream, it amazed him that his mind had recorded each and every single details about their meetings from the first, he went inside his washroom, after a few long minutes he come out fresh, he thought for a minute and called Adi, "Good morning Maan sir, how are you?" Adi asked with a cheery voice, "Adi, I need all the information about that Balveer and his agent, take that Agent to judge Ashok Kumar personal and get is statement regarding this land transfer registered legally,

And put on our detectives to follow Breej Singh Handa and his transactions in and around Punjab, and all his activities for last one month after the land sell, whom he met, whom he deal with everything, I want this information's in two days, ok," Maan said and Adi told an ok, Maan then went and was looking at the files to find anything new about the land transaction , he was thrilled for no reason, "Maan," Breej voice disturbed him and he turned around,

"Maan I know, you were feeling bad about our behavior towards you, it's all because of that Geet, and you don't listen to her Maan, stay away from her, anyways she will get married and go away soon, so let's not care about her, you do your job here, and if you need any help, I will help you, men, money, anything, let's not spoil our relationship for that girl," Breej said and Maan turned and looked at him,

"What do you say Maan," Breej said and Maan nodded, "ok, we will have a relationship definitely," Maan said "in the form of enmity," his mind thought, "Good Maan, I am going now, call me if you need anything," Breej said and went away, Maan feel restless as he controlled his anger, so he put on his jerkin and started to jog out in fresh air, as his mobile rang, he turned on the blue tooth while jogging,

"Hello," Maan voice beamed as he jogged, "Maan," Geet's soft voice made him slow down, "Geet," Maan asked doubted, "yes," Geet said, "Geet is everything ok," Maan asked suddenly worried, "Yes, Breej Veer ji came in the night and released me, warning that if I say this to anyone then Balveer and Veera will be dead, and I said I will not say this to you or anyone, and he believe and he had made the security around my house double," Geet said in a slow voice,

"Your brother is stupid, he came to me and asked me not to believe you and to believe him," Maan said with a grin, "Maan, tomorrow night at 8 the function will start here and it will be crowded but still, you have to be careful, if someone sees you than that's all," Geet said scared, "Don't worry, tomorrow, I think even you will not identify me, I will make sure to disguise," Maan said,

"Ok, Thank you Maan, for your help, thank you so much, Baba ji will be with you, I will pray for you, hope everything will go well," Geet said, "sure," Maan said, "ok, I am cutting the call, at 8.00 tomorrow night, I will be waiting for you," Geet said and cut the call, Maan stopped and his heart suddenly started to beat high, "what the hell is happening to me, why is my heart beating high now, why am I excited, what am I excited for," Maan thought and he jogged away,

That day went well and the next day was so busy in Handa mansion, everyone was getting ready for the night event, Maan was busy in making for arrangements for the Balveer's custody when he found him, it turned seven and Maan was getting ready, he stood before the mirror and looked at himself, "Not bad Maan, not bad at all, you look, different," Maan said to himself and went out, Geet was in her room with Rachi,

And she come out, and was looking at the crowd coming up in her house, "Baba ji, where is Maan," Geet thought, "Geet di, what are you looking at, he will come now," Rachi said with a grin, "yes, but what if Breej Veer ji, sees him," Geet said and Rachi turned her around, "What, who are you talking about," Rachi asked puzzled, "Maan ji, who else," Geet said and Rachi looked at Geet, "Geet di, do you love Dev ji, or Maan ji, always talking and thinking about him," Rachi asked and Geet pulled her inside her room,

"Rachi, don't make fun, Maan ji is helping us, maybe he is an anger filled guy but still he has a good heart, and thanks to Baba ji he is helping us, otherwise I don't know what will happen to Veera," Geet said and Rachi hugged her, "yes but now, Maan ji will save Balveer and then Veera di and then they will get Married and then Geet di will get married to Dev Jiju and everything will be fine," Rachi said,

"Yes Rachi, me too hoping for that only, Baba ji, will make everything ok," Geet said, "Geet, Rachi, come down, look Dev ji's family came," Geet's Bhabhi came and said and Geet and Rachi went down, Geet face filled with shyness as she saw Dev and his family, she went and got their blessings and hugs and Dev was having a big smile, as everyone was hugging Geet, Geet suddenly felt someone looking at her,

Geet tried to find those eyes and she found and got shocked, it was Maan, she identified him the very second she saw him but he was looking different in Punjab style with turban and in sherwani, Maan too saw her seeing him with big surprise and shock and he smiled a cute smile to show his victory in surprising her with a new look, Geet felt like fainting up, he was so beautiful, Geet stood away and was smiling up at him, Maan nodded once and signed he was going in and went up in search of Balveer and Geet's hearts started to beat high, and the function started,

Maan rushed into the Handa Mansion and there was no one inside, but thought Maan went carefully inside, he skipped the front of the house as he knew Breej would not risk any chance and went to the back side of the house, where he found lots of locked door, "must be here somewhere." Maan thought as he peeped in to each room, through the key hole, Geet on the other hand was so nervous she was looking at the around to see Maan,

She can't even see Dev who was looking at her, and trying to speak, Maan roamed around, the whole Mansion and suddenly saw two guys standing there near a door, "the whole gang is there and these guys are standing here, guarding something," Maan thought as he moved close, "sure Balveer must be in this room," Maan thought, "how to get these idiots away," Maan thought, slowly he went back near the stairs, where the single light was shining lighting the whole hall way and he removed one of his ring he was wear, which had a red ruby stone and kept underneath the light, in the way it would shine up,

Maan then stepped back and moved forward, Maan was happy to see that the red ruby was doing its job well by shinning so brightly by the light and it was only a few second that the red shine got those guys eyes, Maan hide himself in the dark and waited up, and those guys so mesmerized by the big red light went near it crossing Maan, Maan slowly skipped forward as they crossed him and stepped before the room, and saw those guys,

That two guys were now looking at the ring in wonder and smiling big, Maan slowly opened the door and went inside, and saw a guy who was lying on the floor, beaten black and blue, "Hey," Maan tapped him and the guy immediately got rigid and tried to scream, when Maan closed his mouth, "Hey don't be scared, come on," Maan said and the guy looked Maan with a fear, "who are you?"

"I will tell you later, now come on," Maan said as he stood up and pulled that guy, who can barely stand, "hey, you are Balveer, right," Maan asked suddenly and the guy nodded, "great, come on," Maan said and the Guy too walked up, while holding Maan's shoulders for support, he was too weak to walk, as Maan came out he saw those guys walking towards the room, and he knew if he goes out there will be a mess now,

"Get in," Maan said and pushed Balveer inside and Maan too went in, he left the door a little open and Maan went near Balveer "do as I say," Maan said to Balveer, "hey the door is opened," one guy said, "Did he escaped," another one asked, and then they opened the door, and went inside and to their surprise Balveer was on the floor as before, "he is here only and then who opened the door," they both looked at each other,

Suddenly out of nowhere strong hands held their mouth from behind, and they were shocked, "Now," Maan said and Balveer got up and caught their hands one by one and tied it behind and then took a cloth and tore it and tied around those guys mouth, "Hey we can't leave them here, Breej will find out," Maan said, "No ji, Breej will not come here, until these guys call him, so no problem," Balveer said,

"Ok, let's go," Maan said and went away, "Geet, what are you waiting for, come on, the moon had come out bright," Dev's mother said and Geet nodded and stood up, "Geet Beta, when an unmarried girl look at the moon and prays to Baba ji to show her future partner, Baba ji will bring him in front of her and then when she looks down on the earth, the first face she sees is her life partner, her soul mate created by the Baba ji, this is the meaning and belief behind this ritual, but any ways now you know who your life partner is, you can now pray for your good future together," Dev's mother said and Gave her the puja thali and Geet got it and started her puja to the moon,

But she could heard it and he too can't call loud, Maan then thought to go in front of her so she could see him and looked around and slowly went up, "Baba ji," Geet prayed and took the net panel and looked at the moon, "Dev, go and stand before her," Dev's mom said, "one second mom, important call," Dev said and Geet closed her eyes and prayed and then lowed the see through panel and opened her eyes and her eyes widen in shock,

"Maan," her lips just said without any sound and Maan for the first time smiled and showed a thumps up but Geet was looking at him her mind went blank for a second, "why is she staring like that," Maan thought and turned around, Geet closed her eyes and stood frozen with Maan's image in her eyes, his smiled, his shinning eyes, it was too much, "Geet, now you can open your eyes," Dev's voice pulled her to reality and she saw him, and Dev smiled big, "Sorry, I am late."

Geet just smiled and turned around and went away, and she searched for Maan again, and found him, Maan was writing something and looked up and found a small kid and Geet saw him giving a letter to the kid and the kid smiling and running inside the crowd, Maan then saw Geet who was looking at him and Maan signed to get the letter, "Baba ji, what if someone sees it," Geet looked scared and went inside the crowd and her heart was beating high and she picked the small kid up in her hands,

And Geet went away and stood behind the building, "Geet didi, it's for you," the kid gave her the letter and Geet smiled and got it, "ok, but don't say this to anyone ok," Geet said and the kid ran away with a ok, and Geet opened the letter and read it, "Geet, Balveer is with me, and we are going to get Veera too, and tomorrow at Amritsar register office I have arranged for their marriage, the faster it gets over, the faster the truth can be revealed, when you get free, message or call me,"

Geet felt an happiness as a new hope filled her heart, her friend's life is gonna be safe, Geet smiled and went inside the crowd and Maan eyes followed her and Geet slowly turned a bit and smiled and nodded a bit and Maan felt like he won some award as he saw her smile like that, first time he saw the happiness in her eyes instead of fear and smile in her lips, and the happiness in her face made him feel heaven,

Maan himself felt strange why his heart was smiling big seeing her smile, he shook his head and went away, Geet was smiling and she too felt a strange happiness, spreading up and now she was fully into the function, Breej saw the sudden change in Geet's face and felt a doubt but seeing her with Dev, he thought Dev must be the reason for her happiness, and then the function went well..
