The musical journey of two young hearts tested in trying times. Can their relationship withstand the tests they are put through or will it collapse and separate the two? Forever.

Prologue

"She'd never believed in any of this before you came along. She was fine the way she was. You changed her," she told him accusingly.

"I didn't do anything to her. Whatever happened wasn't my fault. I had no choice. Circumstances put me in a situation where I had to choose. Maybe I chose wrong but it's not like I could go back in time and change whatever I did," he tried to defend himself.

"I actually don't care anymore. She's broken and she's broken because of you. You're the only one that can fix her and everything that's happened and you know that. I've got nothing else to say to you and I'm sorry that we're in such a situation. I never wanted it to be this way but if you kiss someone else in front of the person that loves you... It shatters them inside," with that she walked away.

He stood there watching the retreating figure and collapsed in a heap on the ground. He knew he shouldn't have done it but he had no choice. It was what was best for him and more especially what was best for her.

Character Sketch

Geet Handa
A beautiful fun-loving 3rd year student who is the life of the entire college. Everybody adores Geet for her I-couldn't-care-less attitude and her courage. she is the lead singer in the college band Melody Maestros and doesn't believe in love because of past experience.

Maan Singh Khurana
The dashing new 4th year student in college. He joined a month into the 1st semester as he had transferred from London to India to complete his last year of studies and take over his father's business.

Naina Malhotra
Also a 3rd year, Geet's best friend and confidante. Naina considers Geet to be her sister and is always there to support her regardless of the situation and circumstances. She plays guitar for the band.

Aryan Singhania
A 4th year student that plays drums for the band. Aryan is considered to be the most handsome guy in college and takes full advantage of it. He immediately befriends Maan and forms an unbreakable bond with him. He also has a crush on one of the band members.

Vicky Khurana
Maan's younger brother who convinced him to come back to India. Vicky loves his brother and has the utmost respect for him which is why he doesn't go against Maan's wishes or try to change his decisions. He always supports his brother even though he knows he's wrong at times. Vicky is a 3rd year student and plays keyboard for the band.

Pari Singhania
Aryan's younger sister, a 3rd year student who became great friends with Geet and Naina. She was immediately accepted by the band and plays bass for them. She also has a crush on Vicky that might or might not be known to him.

Shaina
A 4th year student, who despite joining half through the year, likes to think that she rules the college. She is extremely envious of Geet and wants everything that Geet has. She is the college snob and always gets her way with whoever she wants except for Geet. She has always had the hottest guy in college running after her and expects Maan to do the same.

Geet watched him walk away knowing very well that despite what he told her, despite breaking their relationship, he was hurting every bit as much as she was. She knew that this didn't just affect her but affected Maan just as much. A few seconds later she saw Shaina run after Maan. What hurt Geet the most wasn't the fact that he had left her for someone else. She would have even been happy for him had it been someone else. Someone that he liked. Not just Geet but everyone else knew that the only reason Maan was with Shaina was because she was the reason that Maan and Geet were no longer together. She had pretended to be an innocent victim and made Geet the guilty one.

great prologue n teaser! this looks like an emotional story! they separated frm each other thinking 4 each others well being!

but y did maan have 2 kiss shaina in front of geet n break an already broken soul??!!
