I killed him Maan... I have killed that monster...

By the time I finished my silent cries had turned into loud sobs. Maan cupped my face n with a painful expression wiped my tears making me look into his eyes. Although I don't regret killing a monster like Dev Mehra but today I was fearing to look into Maan's eyes. His eyes which always held a never ending ocean of love for me, I feared to see any other emotion in them. After knowing that I have my hands drenched with the blood of that devil.

I was reluctant to lift my lashes but his one word n I couldn't help but look into his eyes where my whole world lies...

Jaan...

Maan...I whispered to find my own image in his eyes with his undying love n before I knew he hugged me so tightly, as if to ensure himself that I was fine. We stood there for sometime, finally getting the solace that ours hearts had been waiting for.

Bhai... We parted hearing Aniee who smiled with tears, looking at us. I know even what she must have gone through. And somewhere do find herself responsible for these circumstances. My reverie broke with her voice calling for us.

Bhai... Sab aa gaye... n now r waiting only for u two...

Maan smiled at his little sis who nodded with an equally radient smile. But whatever Aniee said made me nervous. Maan kept looking at Aniee's retreating back till the time she entered inside the temple n then turned to look at me. My eyes were downcasted with apprehension, filling up with fear of what he is planning, when he held both my hands gently n said

Geet... Jo tumne kehna tha... keh diya... aur tum chati thi ... mein sunnu... to maine sab sunn bhi liya... Par ab Bus...

Shhh... U wanted one chance Geet... n I gave u that... but now nothing more...

Maan... mujhse ye nahi hoga... Please... I cried. I felt helpless, clueless... how to make him understand ?? why isn't he getting ... I can't do this...

Geet... look at me... he held my chin n made me look up while with other hand wiped my tears

Geet ... Maa Durga ne kitne rakshso ko mara tha... Aur aaj hum unhe issi liye pujte hai... Bhagwan Raam, Bhagwan Krishan... Unhone bhi kitne hi rakshso ka vadh kiya... To kya wo sab galat the ???

U r NO less Geet... Arre meri Geet is a lioness... she is no scape goat... And u proved it yet again... I m proud of U Jaan...

Maan... it not just this...

Jaan... enough now... I have heard u ... Now u hear me... I heard u coz I wanted u to release all those buried bitter memories, to free urself... it makes no difference to me ... my decision is not going to change...

Saying this he held my hand n started walking towards the temple where everyone is waiting for us as Aniee said. And I followed in trance which broke when he stopped just before entering inside n turned resting his free palm on my cheek. Our eyes locked for a moment but what made me look from his one eye to another was the fear in them which changed to concern when he softly said

Geet... Jo bhi tumne abhi mujhse yaha kaha ... Hum aaj unn sab baaton ko yahi chodkar aapni ek nayi duniya mein kadam rakhenge... Jahan judai ke kaale badalon ki koi jagah nahi ho... Wo duniya... jahan sirf humare pyar ki roshni ho...

Maan... Ye...

Jaan... Let's leave those painful memories, that bitter past here only... He tried reading my eyes taking a pause n then whispered

Mere liye... n my entire world stopped. I could do anything for him... be it anything. He is the reason of my being. His will is my command. So, I nodded lightly when I felt my eyes filling but he brushed those drops before they roll down n pecked my forehead gently before resuming towards our destination.

We reached the main area of the temple again. As I scanned the place, I found everything as it was when we left from here earlier. The only difference is that now there are so many people standing.

I looked at all the people standing there... Aniee, Meera, Yash, Adi Sir, Pandit ji and... I froze looking at the other two people. And as if on cue Aniee looked up at us approaching them.

Bhai... Bhabhi... she said aloud n the rest turned
