(Yep, that's my name for you.. its stuck in my mind ever since I misunderstood your name to be that :)
I need to read the latest chapter yet.. but let me just tell you of something that has been bugging me for quite a while.. and correct me if I am wrong in assuming:
I am not sure but am I only one who thought that no one fell! (Referring to the end of Zehal-1) your last sentence was like a series of one-one actions:
-Silent both men were
- Stones scraping shoes.. meant ONE of them had walked away rather than "Someone had fallen"
- A gasp from One
- and a profanity followed by the Other of the men...
and finally the one who walked away had fallen to the other!!
Am I being too metamorphic!!? but it bugged me to no-end that all who were commenting thought one died or fell of the cliff... coz my thoughts were running on the above track😆 ..
And another set of words from a sentence in the same last chapter of Zehal-1 has opened new fountain of questions in me: "...boundaries and borders"! same meaning yet different.. then your relevance to Kashmiri mountains in this part 2 of Zehal..kind of gives me a hint but I am not sure if I am thinking right?!.. where has Dev brought Geet from and to... ?!!
Chapter 4.. that was Dev right... standing over the balcony fixing the glasses at the bridge of his nose and not even acknowledging Naina's comforting presence.. I wonder how can Naina be this warm towards him still, even after knowing it all..!!
You can imagine that I'm all over the place in your FF and reading too much into your words!! its surprising considering the length of each chapter and actually the number of chapters even are so less yet there is so much that's revealed and at the same time hidden behind too... A talent in the writer Ji!
Will read the next chapter 6 and probably will come back with more patronising questions 😳😃
please do continue writing whenever you can.. I am sure you are busy but a doze of this Kalaam at any given time is " an Ode to my beloved " Maaneet (copied you there hahaa)
