Ritzy-Welcome back dear. Was missing you so badly.
Geet was welcomed in Khurana Mansion by Rajendra and Kamini's face just lit up seeing the happiness of her son standing there.
Geet definitely was one confident girl but her root and respect for them was still intact. Whatever they may do to her, she will never leave respecting them. However high she goes, she will always be completely respectable to them.
They were Chote Thakur's parents.
Geet touched Kamini's feet "pranab bade thakurain" She blessed her
"Beta Maa bol" Geet thought for a while, then smiled and hugged Kamini. Kamini was awed by her confidence and personality, calm, down to earth but still she held authority. From where have these come?
"Maa" She looked into Kamini's eyes.
Rajendra felt it was lucky while family had gone for marriage for a week and he had took this chance to call Geet here. He didn't want people disturbing her with comments at very starting.
And Maan would be coming in the evening.
Geet's vacation of 10 days was starting after a week but one call from them and that too for her Chote Thakur, she applied for vacation and was here.
They sat and asked Geet about her college life etc. Later
"I will go to that home" Kamini knew, Geet wanted to take some rest
"I have arranged the guest room for you beta, go take rest there"
"Main yahan..." Geet said hesitating "You know na Geet, you have to take place much beyond that in this house and if you hesitate this way how will you do all. Aur phir Ghar walon kaa tana kaise lo gee if you yourself think this way."
Geet understood. She has to break this barrier. All she knew now was her Chote Thakur was hers and she have to make him hers and she definitely was his. This is what she has to concentrate. Her Chote Thakur wanted to enjoy his life with her and that is what will be her aim now.
How in these years, being far away from him, talking with her friends, she has realized what their love was.
She had rejected it all coz all she knew was, he loved her deeply but she was the one who needed him along with loving him.
But she has now realized something more about his love... staying away, day night analyzing their relation, his not marrying and now new knowledge of what he has become had given her whole new realization.
Geet came out of the room in evening after freshening up. Rajendra and Kamini were in main hall waiting for Maan to return from his trip. They were eagerly waiting to see his reaction on seeing Geet.
They were talking and asked Geet to join them as servant was ordered for serving snack. Geet felt awkward for few second then recovered soon.
They were all busy in talk when there was an auraful and authorative entry in the hall. Geet could not stop but got up seeing him after so many days. She wanted to run to him and hug him but her legs were glued to its place.
Maan's eyes fell on her. He did not know if it was his imagination or reality. But she was smiling at him, confidently. She has grown up and her body has taken proper shape. Everything looked perfect about her. She always was perfect in his views anyways. But she looked much improved in all ways now.
He did not know what to feel, he was numb. Actually he has become numb to any feeling, his faith lost in feeling anything and he had made himself that strong like stone.
Rajendra and Kamini just stayed where they were. Geet took a step forward and it was when Maan's cell buzzed.
He left from there ignoring everything and got busy in the call while moving to his room.
"Yes Adi, I am just back from trip and we will meet after an hour in conference room."
While Geet looked at his parents "woo phone aa gaya na isliye" everyone one knew, including her that she was consoling herself. She knew he must be mad at her but then seeing her after so many days and just ignoring her ?
"Go take some tea and snack to his room" Kamini hinted.
Maan has just come and was freshening up to leave for conference. He had no time to waste. Work was what he thought will stay with him so that is the only thing he did.
He got ready in his crisp formal and matching suit and was about to get out of the room when something collided with him and something hot fell on him.
He looked at his suit frustrated, it was tainted with tea and without looking at the person "What the hell is this" he roared, fearing the person in front of him to no end with his rude voice.
"ji woo" her voice and he looked up. So many things going in his heart hearing her voice after so long, but he ignored it all in nano of seconds.
"What's this, can you explain." He asked in cold voice, indicating his messed up dress and messed up tray in her hand. Chill ran down Geet's spine hearing her Chote Thakur so indifferent to her. Expecting the same and bearing it on face was completely different.
"ji woo woo" but she soon recollected herself. She was a smart girl now, infact being considered as smartest in one of the most reputed medical college was not a simple thing. She knew how to handle situation and then when she knew deep down that he was hers then why to hesitate.
"What? I brought snack-tea for you and you ruined it all" and she made her face.
Inside she was shaking, being so close to him after such long, it felt like dream.
Maan could see her so closely, how beautiful she has grown up but then all this was just an illusion. He had already gone thru an illusion that she loved him beyond limit but all he got in reality was she loved him but not beyond all limits.
She had placed many things in calculation above their love and her love was not as strong that would break all the calculations she had made, be it society status issue or his parents respect.
He opened his eyes, why was he even thinking so many things, just because she has appeared after 3yrs from nowhere. He scolded himself for being such vulnerable to a person who was so strong and determined at heart.
He looked at her, "move out, I need to change." And he turned without looking at her.
But Geet's heart was nowhere in her control, her Chote Thakur was so close to her after so many days, it was just like a dream come true and he looked even more handsome.
She stood there rooted as Maan's back was facing to her while he selected his other set of dress. He threw his suit on bed and then undid his buttons and threw his shirt on ground. Geet's heart felt like floating, how badly she wanted herself to be crushed in his arms. Listen form him, that he was her, still hers and only hers, though she knew it very well.
Maan next thew his inner vest on the ground baring his top self. That was it, Geet ran and hugged him tight, making him still where he was or what he was doing.
"Move" he said sternly but she hugged him tighter. What will he do now? He was himself feeling her touch after so long. Current passed thru him as her swelling curve crushed his back.
"Chote Thakur" she almost moaned. How he wished to hold her hand and jerk her away but he was unable to do it and she crushed herself more into him. He felt his systems are not working according to his will and he hated it. She snaked her hands on his bare chest and he just placed his hands in air and let her finish up. She was stirring something..no no, many things within him that he hated. He hated to be vulnerable to anything and she being top on of his list.
"Kuch puchenge nahi" "If you are done, move;I hate being late." His voice was so cold, devoide of any emotion. She left him not being able to take this shock and he kept satnding there waiting for her to move out of room.
Geet reluctantly went out. 10 minutes later, she saw him moving authoritively out of the house not even giving her a single glance.
She felt empty as if the shield of love and care has been removed from her; it felt so empty. Again facing this indifference of her chote Thakur killed her. Angry or what, he was never indifferent. He may have avoided her in anger before but she knew he will be back on his own to her but here she felt he had gone so far away from her. This pinched badly.
Geet took a deep breath and again made herself strong "you deserve even bigger punishment Geet. Its not about you its about your Chote Thakur and you can't give up in any case."
She knew she has to go to any extent.
Next morning, as Maan landed down the hall to leave
"Maan breakfast beta" Maan looked her side and Geet was standing near her.
"Today, Geet has prepared the breakfast and all your favrites"
"Mom there is important meeting, will have breakfast there." The words were full of respect but no emotion. As if the wall was created around him for no emotion to pierce him.
He left and Geet ran behind him. She caught him as he waited for driver to pull out the car.
"Chote Thakur" she held his hand, he turned to look at her. She was looking down "Galti huee hai mujhse but can't bear this. Please Chote Thakur, kuch boliyee tou, please"
He kept looking at her and then removed her hand from him "I am not your Chote Thakur anymore to run behind you. I have many other priorities to look into. I will suggest you to not try to pull me to these emotional stuffs. It will be complete waste of time for you. "
He paused for a while
"And you are independent enough handle things on your own. And believe me; I appreciate you from heart for this. So keep it up."
His car came and he went inside. She kept watching as he opened his laptop to look into stuff.
Yes Geet was independent, she handled so many things these days and with efficiency but between all this, from within she wanted to be cared by him.
But Geet was also not the one to give up.
She went inside to find disturb Kamini "Maa, aap kyun pareshan hain.
Maan came to his room late at night, around 11pm after having small dinner party with a client. Clients, vendors, projects, bringing new project, success of existing project, being on top.. just this was life that Maan had made himself. When none of his own had respected his emotion and feeling, he had decided to throw all emotion and feeling away and just become a hard core business man who worked only with mind and no heart involved.
He opened the door of his room and entered all exhausted when he found Geet siting on bed.
Ohh no, not again, his tired mind cried.
She came running and hugged him.
"Geet please yaar, I am not into all these anymore. Really I am not at all the one you are imagining, so please"
But Geet gave deaf ear to him though her inside burned with the cold voice of her Chote Thakur.He tried to remove her hand from him but she took off his suit in that process.
She made faces, Maan closed his eyes in frustration
"Puchenge nahi, wapas kyun aayee... or how was I, anything."
"Geet, there is no rocket science to why you are here now. I can see how Mom and Dad, who could not tolerate your standing in level are today having breakfast with you, they are sharing a guest room with you. Its very simple, they have called you here."
"Haan per" "when you have asked the question, let me complete. They cannot tolerate this me anymore. They gave up and left their all ego for their son. They think its you who can bring me to my old self. So it's them who loosed their patience and called you here. It is not you who lost her patience and came here for me. Your love is not that strong to break your patience."
Geet hugged him tight "Chote Thakur, I love you, love you a lot. "
"I know, but not enough to break all walls of hesitation on your own. I don't accept things that are comprisable." He removed her from him.
