Maan and Geet were busy in their respective works , but he never miss a day to talk her on phone and skype. Maan visited her house on Sundays and cherished her togetherness. Dadima wanted Maan to get married with Dev n Meera coz he is elder and she was not feeling good marrying Dev before Maan. Whole family discussed this matter on BF and sometime on dinner , but Maan refused that saying that he was not prepared for marriage and he wanted some time.

Mr Ranjeet was noticing Maan from many days and he felt that Maan has some soft feelings for Geet ,, he find different emotions in his eyes when he talked to Geet , but what about Geet?

One night when Maan was chatting with Geet on skype Mr Ranjeet entered in his room.

Mr Ranjeet: This is very bad Maan ..

Maan and Geet started with this , they became quiet ,, Maan looked at his Dad confused.

Mr Ranjeet: Tum jab dekho akele hi Geet se baat kerty ho hamari to nahi karate? He addressed Geet threw screen ,, Geet hum tumhare kuch nahi lagtey kya ? Aur tum kaafi dino se KM bhi nahi aai ,, ur aunty is missing u.

Geet: I'm sorry uncle , i was hell busy with work ,, festival time tha to work pressure ho jata hei ,,, i'll come very soon to meet her and Dadima.

Mr Ranjeet: aur mei? Mejhe bhool gai?

Geet: no ,o,o u too and laughed.

Mr Ranjeet was observing Maan's expressions while talking to Geet hmmm kuch to hei in aankon mei ,, he bid her bye and left saying Maan to meet him.

Mr Ranjeet was in lawn, he was sitting on a swing and thinking about Maan and Geet ,, he likes Geet from d day one ,, she is like an angle for them who brought lots of happiness in their lives. It was like a dream comes true if she comes in his family, but d bitterness and d dark patch of past blocking all d ways. Though she is very close to them now , but to accept Maan with whole heart it was looking very difficult ,, he sighed and looked at sky like praying to almighty for any miracle. His phone buzz and it was from Maan ,, he received that and called him in lawn to meet him.

Maan came there and sat near his Dad ,, Ranjeet looked at him for few seconds and patted his cheek lovingly.

Dad: tum bahot badal gaye Maan ,, ek time tha jab mei bilkul toot gaya tha ,, mujhe tumse koi hope nahi thi , lekin aaj lagta hei meri sari umeeden tumse hei .

Maan: thanks Dad for trusting me.

Dad: Maan mei chahata hua b tum bhi settle ho jao and this is d right time.

Maan: Dad please aap fir start ho gaye.

Dad: Maan i'm not forcing u , agar tumhe koi pasand hei to hum baat ker saktey hei uski family se. Tumhe koi pasand hei ? u can talk to me Maan.

Maan became quiet ,, kaise kahe ki wo jiss ladki ko apni jaan se jyada chahata hei wo uski nahi ho sakti ,, wo usske ateet ko acche se janti hei,, wo uss masoom ke dukh ka karan tha ,, nahi wo to uske bare mei sochegi bhi nahi .

Dad: chup ku ho Maan? Kaun hei wo?

Maan looked at him puzzled and replied with a heavy heart.

Maan: koi nahi hei Dad.

Dad: Fir ye itna dard ku hei aawaz mei hmm ,, kuch der pahale to tum khush thy. Maan I'm ur dad beta ,, tumhari aanken, tumhari aawaaz aur tuhari saanse sab tumhare dil ka haal bata rahi hei ,, bolo Maan kaun hei wo ? He placed his hand on Maan's shoulder to encourage him.

Maan looked at him with lots of pain and hugged him tightly ,, he was chocked with emotions , he wanted to cry out all his feelings, but his insecurities were blocking his voice.

Mr Ranjeet was caressing and patting his back to console him ,, Maan was like that for few seconds ,, he parted when he felt lil control on his emotions .

Dad: it's OK beta , u can share with me .

Maan: It's useless to talk Dad, wo kabhi meri nahi ho sakti ,, mera Ateet usse mere pass nahi aane dega ,, wo bas mere liye ek khubsurat sapna hi rahegi ,, Mei uske layak nahi hu Dad ,, wo bahot acchi hei , like an angel.

Dad: Geet.

Maan instantly looked at him surprised ,, Ranjeet nodded his head with a soft smile.

Dad: mera shaq sahi tha ,, wo Geet hi hei.

Maan nodded his head in yes and looked down.

Dad: kabhi uske bare mei janne ki koshish ki hei ki wo tumhare bare mei kya sochti hei? Ya wo kisi aur ko padand kerti hei?

Maan's hearts felt a pang with d name of other with her ,, he nodded in a no.

Maan: she never talked about her and i never felt that she likes someone.

Dad: hhmm to jaano Maan ,, usse jaano ,,, samjho usse. Haar ker matt baitho Maan ,, usske pass reheker itna bhi nahi seekhe aur samjhe . Jahan tak mei samjhta hu Geet bahot straight forward aur suljhi hui ladki hei ,, Agar wo tumhare liye galat sochti to kabhi tumhari friendship accept nahi karti Maan.

Maan looked at his Dad and tried to understand his words ,, Ranjeet patted his cheek and got up to move saying ... Usse samjho Maan ,, tum galat tey ,, ab nahi ho ,, haaro matt Maan ,, usse jeeto.

Maan remained there alone thinking about his Dad's words and remembered each and every moments which he spent with Geet ,, her trust, care and support for him ,, his heart felt a lil hope and eyes got back its lost brightness . He looked at starry sky ,, O Lord!! Please be with me.

Love makes our friends a little dearer

Joy makes our hearts a little lighter

Faith makes our paths a little clearer

Hopes make our live a little brighter

Peace brings us all a little nearer.
