33. Say Yes, Dad!!
We could feel Sam tensing beside us b/c of Dad's intense stare or rather say I will kill u looks. Today morning Shraddha confessed her love. Mom was squealing in happiness while dad kept his silence. It was actually intriguing us. The only word he spoke was 'tell him to meet us for dinner today'. Adi took the next flight saying that he likes Shraddha, but he is not perfect for her. We dint tell his truth. That's for him to say, if he wish.
Sam's POV
The way he is looking at me it feels like I asked him to marry me. Mr. Dad, I want to marry ur daughter, not u. But dint have the courage to voice my thots. yaar.. kuch toh bolo!! Suddenly maan said some jokes interrupting the silence. Laughter erupted but then when his eyes landed on me his smile vanished. I managed to impress mom by giving flowers and she kissed my cheeks in a motherly affection. Pata nahi dad ka problem kya hain!! Shraddha was giving me worried looks.

Di's eyes were filled with happy tears but then her gaze moved to dad. He looked content but his eyes were curious. I can feel her struggle. Oh come on dad!! As if he heard my thots, dad suddenly smiled and winked at her.

Sam's eyes widened but nodded quickly and dad just hugged both of them.
So I m thinking to arrange a grand ceremony to announce my daughters engagement next week after Nandu's arrival from tour. She will be so happy. What say?
I looked at my bare fingers and sighed. Maan never proposed me, but all r thinking that he has already proposed. I glanced at him but he was in deep conversation with Sam. Di is so lucky!!
