Part 15
The hall echoed loudly as doors began to swiftly shut. The grip Maan placed on her hand grew stronger and stronger as his anger intensified within in. Geet closed her eyes to block out the pain which was approaching in her fate. For a minute the lecture room was filled with silence until she heard a loud thud. Opening her eyes she saw witnesses herself being pushed upon the wall with an uncontrollable force. She wanted to shriek as her bones slowly crushed against each other. Geet helplessly looked down, but at that moment her cheeks were crushed in. Maan was fiercely gripping her mouth causing her to wince in pain immensely.
Witnessing these incidents from outside Lizzie and Laila were soon in an hysterical condition. As the pain escalated, the girls panic mounted. With no suitable solution being formulated the girls gradually had begun to blame each other.
" You know what, you should be getting in trouble instead of Geet. You are the one who opened your mouth. That's the thing about you, you cannot keep away from trouble. Look at whats happening to her. Poor Geet, now its your duty to think of something Laila, I'm warning you before hand, sort this situation out before it gets out of hand"
" Your blaming me, of course you would, you never do anything on your own, because you don't have a brain of your own. Who told you to follow me like a sheep, it was the worst day when I befriended you. I would rather be friends with cockroaches than be your room mate. You know what your so ungrateful. I'm beginning to despise you..."
Across from the hall, a stranger was watching the girls argue. It was intriguing to see girls bicker, one minutes they are pal and the next they are nemesis's. What caught him the most was the beauty of the second girl. Her long tresses gently swayed from side to side, she was every guys fantasy. However he had not come for this, he had to find someone, but for that he had to intervene in this fight. He gently patted Laila on her back, unknowingly he was soon to become a victim of verbal abuse.
" You know what Lizzie (Tapping), who the f**k is this now. What do you want now? Sorry mister if you have a problem with me, just join the line behind this one. The hatred is just mind blowing."
All this stranger could do was to stare at her in amusement, which infuriated Laila even further.
" Excuse me do you have a problem, don't open your mouth you freak. What do you want? Do you need a slap."
The idea of a slap soon woke up the stranger from his trance. " Ermmm, no slap please. Hi my name is Ryan and I'm looking for someone. Do you guys live on this campus. If you do can you please let me know if you guys know a girl named Geet. I need to see her urgently, its very important. I have a photo of her, will that help you."
" Honestly I don't care who you are and what your here for. Let me tell you straight we don't know a girl named Geet and we don't care who you are and where you came from. So just run along, I have my own problems to solve. Don't waste my time, I'm in a very important argument."
Ryan looked at Laila in horror as he slowly paced away from the two girls. That girl in his mind was certainly feisty and he surely did like her but should he pursue her when he has come to meet another girl. He shook his head and trudged along the corridor towards the student apartments. Whilst on the other hand the girls continued their dispute, but to unknowingly realize the blunder they had made😆😆😆
" I just don't understand what your problem is all of a sudden. Yes I have a loud mouth and it tends to get us in trouble but how is that my fault. I was born with it🤣 You know im kind of crazy, look at how I talked that guy 😆 Are you listening to me Lizzie, hello hello hello".
While Laila was ranting on Lizzie was in a deep thought, there was something weird about what the guy had said. Her mind was drifting towards replaying the conversation but Laila kept droning it out with her mono tone fight. " Shut up for a moment for will you 😆😆😆 who did that guy ask for, it just sounded so familiar..."
" He asked for Geet, whoever she is"
" You idiot, he asked for Geet, why did you send him away, he could have helped us, do you understand why I think your moron at times"
"Crap!!!! what do we do now, I'm sure we won't find him now, but I'm sure he will be at the accommodation site if he is a new student or he'll be at the reception surely. Please don't run like a granny now, we do not have the time for that."
With the hope of gaining some help the girls trudged along towards the student apartments. On the other hand Geet wimped in pain as Maan's hold on her grew stronger. Maan let go of Geet's throat, making her shriek in pain. However the freedom was short lived as he pulled her into his chest. His arm was placed across her neck, causing her other to be twisted behind his back. Her eyes shut as she trembled in the pain, all she could do was block out the pain, she wanted to scream at the top of her lungs, she wanted to be saved but her mind slowly shut down. All of a sudden the room was filled with a thunderous roar as rain furiously collided with the glassed windows and doors. Shivering to the sound of the rain Geet released a quiet which was followed by several sobs. Seeing the tears in Geet eyes tore Maan as he freed her from his old. Unable to support herself Geet fell to her knees, as all the pain resurfaced within her.
Agonised by the pain on Geet's face, Maan hit his fist against the wall. Shaken by the noise Geet looked up to see Maan slumped against the wall with his head pressed against the wall. What had he done, Maan's guilt was eating him, his anger was getting the better of him. Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes to shut himself off from the world, but all he saw was the embarrassment Geet caused him.
The rage within Maan resurfaced, leading him to pace towards Geet. Sitting on the floor Geet was jerked upwards as Maan grasped her in a tight lock. Geet was struck by a sharp blow as Maan pulled Geet in towards his chest. The proximity of the two, heightening the pain embedded within maan. As their breathing synchronized, Maan tilted Geet's towards him, causing her to wince in pain as their eyes collided. For a moment maan was struck by her beauty but his ego prevented him from melting. Edging close to Geet's lips, Maan clenched her lips smudging the lipstick from her mouth, in effect intensity was soon replaced by hatred. Maan slowly began to release his outburst...
" I despise you and your your innocence and beauty. You know what i thought you were slightly arrogant, foolish and ignorant but that all was a facade. Your a bitter person and you will always remain that. You never thought, how I would feel when in front of all my students you disclosed my professional life. You know what i'll show you what embarrassment is "
Just then Maan moved his hand towards Geet's neck till her navel. With each touch Geet's fear mounted. In the heat of the moment Maan clenched Geet's shoulder material ripping her white cotton dress. His fingers lingered on her arm, causing her to squeal loudly. Geet's ringing cry chimed through the lecture hall, which placed a smirk across Maan's face. In disgust Maan pushed Geet towards the stairs, as his shadow loomed over Geet.
" Do you know how it feels now, you seriously think I would touch you. Please do not kid yourself, I wouldn't even touch you if you came close to me. Your simply not worth. Now pick your stuff up and get lost."
Maan glared at her as she composed herself. Geet with all the energy she could muster, picked herself up from the floor. As she was limping across the hall, she pushed against the wall as Maan swiftly exited the premises. As soon as the door shut, Geet let out a loud sob. Her joints were aching with all the bruising but she couldn't stay here any longer. Wiping her tears from her face, Geet picked herself up but as she approached the campus centre, she yet once again faltered as she fainted in some familiar hands.
