Maan sat on his couch thinking what he would tell her? He didn't know what she wants to know about him. But then, didn't he have to tell her how madly he was in love with her!! So he wrote in their stencil language of course. He opened his heart to her in that little piece of paper if it was possible. He told her all about how he joined her college only to get a glimpse of her...how he dreamed every night only about her...how much he wanted her all his life...and in the end he told her about his family, how they want to meet her and how much he missed her..

Geet had a smile when Tanvir gave the letter to her. She laughed as she found the "stencil" letter. Her eyes widened pleasantly surprised when she found out that he joined the college only for her!! She blushed as she read his desires and her eyes filled up as she found how he was inviting her to be a part of his adorable family. She wanted to reply..so many words..so many emotions...but nothing that she could pen down. And eventually she decided to gift him something for this new venture. She made a portrait of her eyes which he claimed could drown him. No words...no stencils...it was her gleaming almond eyes that he found as a reply. They were enough for him to convey what she felt. Maan was overjoyed by her gesture. He immediately decided to make them the logo of his sister's boutique.

One fine afternoon Geet sneaked into her brother's room and took his cordless phone to the terrace. She dialed Maan's number.

Maan : Hello, Maan Singh Khurana here..

There was only silence at the other end. He knew it was her from her breath and sighed.

Maan in a soft voice, "Geet??"

Geet : hmm ji wo..me ye keh rhi thi ki boutique ka inaugration agar Friday dophar ko rakhenge to me paungi..mamu aur bhai jaan nhi honge na tab ghar me..

Maan was totally lost in her sweet husky voice. Even though they have confessed and declared their love for each other this was the first time she ever called him. She was actually requesting him something for the first time.

Seeing that he was not replying Geet continued, "Maan? agar apko problem he to phir.."

Maan : NHi...I mean Geet ki hum inauguration Friday ko hi rakhenge..tum a jaogi na?

Geet : ji..

Maan : me gaadi bhej dunga

Geet :hmm. suniye..

Maan couldn't help but smile when she addressed him like that, "ha Geet"

Geet : wo mere paas sirf 1 hr ka time he. Utne me ho jayega na?

Maan : tum bilkul chinta mat karo Geet. Ek ghante me tum wapas ghar me hogi

Geet :ok

Maan : aur kuch?

Geet : umm..wo..I miss you Maan..

Maan : ohh Geet..bas jaldi se mere paas a jao tum..

She blushed and he could feel that in the phone itself. Geet cut the call and happily turned around only to find Amina staring at her furiously.

Amina : ye sab kya he Geet?

Geet : di wo..me Maan se pyar karti hu!

Amina smirked, "pyar?? Tumne ye kaise soch liya Geet ki hum jaisi ladkiyo ko pyar karne aur sapne dekhne ka haq he? Mat kar apne saath ye tu..mat dekh wo jhute sapne..ankhe kholo Geet aur dekho...is ghar me mere ya tumhare sapno ki koi ehmiyat nhi he. Yeha bade bade log he jo humari zindagi ka faisla hume sunaya krte he. Aur humara kaam sirf unka hukum maanna he..apne khud ke nikaah ka din mujhe kisi aur ne akey sunaya tha! Tere saath bhi yehi karenge aur koi bachane wala nhi hoga.. tut jayenge bachi tere sapne..seh nhi payegi tu..

Geet looked at Amina with a determination, "apne khuda pe bharosa he mujhe di.."

Amina : kis khuda ki baat kr rhi ho tum? Ammi ke jaane ke waqt aur mere thalaq ke waqt kaha the tumahre khuda? Huh? Jawab do Geet!

Geet looked at her in pity, "di, khuda ke barey me is tarah baat nhi karte..mujhe apne rab par bharosa he aur wo mujhe humesha raah dikhayenge. Me apni zindagi aur apna sapna apni marzi se jiyungi"

Amina came near Geet and hugged her tightly., "kaash jo to keh rhi wo sach ho jaata.."

And at last the most awaited Friday came. Tanvir went to pick her. Maan couldn't concentrate on anything. All his attention was on his watch and then the gate. Why were they so late?? Its been so many days since I have seen her!! Is she also restless like me??

And finally after endless waiting the car came and stopped at the entrance. Geet got out of the car. She was wearing a pale yellow anarkali suit with white beads on the border. The dupatta was on her head as the veil and her dark almond eyes shown bright as she spotted him. Maan stood there and saw as everyone eagerly went to meet his Geet. Dadima, Anjali, Adi, Dev, Karim bhai..everyone behaved as if they knew her for a long time and Geet looked as much as in ease as them. His heart swelled with unsaid pride. Anjali took her to the entry door of the posh boutique and gave her the scissor to cut the ribbon. She looked at Maan who nodded positively and cut the ribbon. Everybody applauded happily. Dadima hugged Geet and so did Anjali. Tanvir was supplying sweets to everyone taking a glimpse at Anjali now and then. Maan had made the event strictly private for Geet's sake. Only close and friends and family were there. After the inaugration everyone was busy taking a look of the exquisite shop. Anjali led a group giving them necessary information. Dadi accompanied her. Tanvir found reasons to stay near and around Anjali. Adi was receiving guests while Dev made sure that security was tight and no trespassing allowed. As everyone got busy Maan took Geet's hand in his startling her and entered in to a changing room closing the door. Geet looked at shocked and breathing hard. Her cheeks turned pink as her eyes met the naughty dark eyes of Maan. She looked away as he came close to her.

He cupped her pink cheeks and looked at her intently. Geet looked at his eyes and gasped. He nibbled her lower lip gently and then kissed on her upper lip. Her hands went around his head and they kissed tender and hesitant for a moment and then he deepened his kiss taking her away with him. He left her only when they were out of breath. Maan was exhilarated at this experience of first kiss. He looked at Geet sheepishly. Her lips curved at the ends smiling at his naughty ways at the same time her eyes looked at him accusingly confusing Maan entirely. She straightened herself and got out of the changing room. She bid goodbye to everyone. She was already getting late. She asked Tanvir to take her back.

Maan immediately cut in, "Tanvir, I'm coming with you"

He wanted to spend as much time as possible with Geet. He was about to sit with her on the back seat when Geet said, "Maan, ap front seat pe bethiye"

He looked at her innocently and opened the front-door reluctantly. As the car moved Maan adjusted the front mirror in such a way that he could see Geet properly. Tanvir was getting restless.

Tanvir : Maan please, I need to drive...

Maan : What ! Is this a six-lane? Tum bina mirror ke jitna chala skte ho utna hi chalao smjhe?

Tanvir kept quiet and continued to drive.

Geet : Tanvir, thoda fast chalao na..late ho rhi hu..

Tanvir : ha Geet! Bas abhi

Maan glared at him and Tanvir became silent. As they stopped for the railway gate to open Tanvir found some people staring at him. One of them came near Maan and asked him to get out.

Person1 : wo Taya abbu ke ghar ki ladki he na? Aur tum kaun ho?

Person2 : ye ladki tumhari gaadi me kya kr rhi he?

Maan : to kya? Hum dost he saath me bahar ja rhe he! Ye India he. Aur democracy me log itna to kr hi skte he

He glared at them and got back. By the time the gate opened and they crossed the place. Tanvir stopped the car a few feet behind Geet's house. But as they watched her getting inside the big gate Maan spotted Taya abbu's car already standing there on the courtyard. Of course those skeptical people had done their job!! He was worried about Geet but he had no other option but to move back.

Geet entered the house looking here and there, her heart beating fast. The whole house had an eerie silence. And then she saw the towering figure of Taya abbu approaching her. There were no words asked, no expalnations given. The man slapped her with such force that she fell on the ground.

Taya Abbu : Is haram zaadi ko kamre me band kr de..roshni nhi dikhni chahiye isey jo iski ye jurat ki humare pariwar ka naam mitti me milane chali...

Amina supported Geet's body and took her to her room but before that she stopped in front of Asad giving him a resentful look. Asad hung his in defeat and Amina left with a smirk of hatred pasted on her face.
