Character Sketch
the khurana's
maan: a loving arrogant, lady-killer, short-tempered, rude, egoistic 28-year-old billionaire. his childhood incidents have made him the man he is now. loves his dadi maa and siblings a lot

Dadimaa:same as in GHSP but more tricky and childish at times

Vicky:Maan's extra childish brother, but loving and understanding. considers maan his idol and fatherly figure. can do anything for his sister and dadimaa

Anwesha/Annie: Maan's sister.loves her brothers and dadimaa a lot. maan is her idol and fatherly figure.

The Handa's
Geet: a jovial, loving, extra-talkative, childish, egoistic, pretty 25-year-old architect. her father owns a family business but doesn't wish to join

Yuvraj: geet's brother. married to the love of his life Mehak both met at college fell in love and got married and joined the Handa family business. spoils geet a lot

Mehak: Yuvraj's wife. loves her in-laws a lot especially geet. spoils geet a lot and has gotten in trouble a lot of times along with yuvraj with her mum-in-law. currently helping in their family business

Rano: geet's mother. loves her children but really strict especially with geet as she is very immature. treats geet, mehak and yuvraj equally

Mohinder: geet's father. not really strict. loves his children a lot. treats mehak, yuvraj and geet equally.

The Khanna's
Dev: a hard-working, soft-spoken, shy 28-year-old billionaire. loves and respects his naani and sister a lot. and is about to marry geet in 3 months time

Naani(Satya Devi):broadminded. loves her grand children a lot and has a very modern thinking. treats meera, dev and yash equally

Meera: dev's younger sister. loves her naani and brother a lot is a doctor currently engaged to yash.

Yash Malhotra: engaged to Meera. an orphan looked after-ed by the Khanna family hoping to marry meera on the same day as dev. loves the family as his own


Naintara Rathod: Geet's best friend, both are inseparable they love to get things which are identical. about to get engaged to Maan.

Part One

The cool wind is blowing through. The birds are chirping welcoming the new day. The environment at Khurana Mansion is a bit heated as this morn his highness Maan Singh Khurana got terribly defeated...well this scene was quite usual for a few days now but finally today Maan has agreed for that one thing that his dadimaa had always wished...he agreed to get married...while his dadimaa is dancing with joy...he is in a corner fuming with anger

"oh dadimaa enjoy, just enjoy at my defeat...but you my lovely dadimaa are forgetting if you are my dadimaa then i am also your grandson, if i can't decline the proposal then what is the guarantee that the girl will accept it...oh the game is on!" Maan thought to himself.

While on the other hand dadimaa was dancing with glee all set to accept the proposal put through by the Rathod family for their only daughter Naintara.

With the hustling and bustling going on in the Khurana Mansion, the scenery at the Handa Mansion were no different.

The dining area was filled with commotion as Rano Handa was busy scolding Meera, only because she helped more like cooked breakfast for Geet...

" Meera how many times do I have to tell you not to do thigs for this lazy bum here, please...she must learn to do her work herself...we won't be there to do her work for her at her in-laws so stop making her more lazy" said a fuming Rano

"Maa I was just helping her" Meera carefully explained

"Yeah by cooking breakfast for while she sat there watching you like a fool...you need to do better than this Meera..."

"Maa De said I don't need to cook after we get married..so chill" Geet smartly added only to be fired back with a glare

"Geet you are not a child anymore plus Dev is not the only one living in that house. His Nani also lives there. What will she think? That I didn't teach you anything...you also need to know housework. Why do you not understand dear?" Rano said cooling her temper.

Meanwhile Naintara just barged in to the house super excited with a wide grin on her face.
Rano averting her attention towards Naintara.

"Tara, dear, how are you?"

"Rano aunty I have a very pleasant news for you all"

"Okay go on"

"Maan Singh Khurana has accepted my proposal. Now Geet and I can get married on the same day. No more stalling Geetu. He finally agreed." Naintara chirpily said

"OMG! Finally Akdu Khurana agreed" Geet said tightly hugging NT

"Geet I guess this is the perfect time to tell Dev that he doesn't have to wait to get married to you now" Meera added gleefully

The ladies at Handa Mansion were busy in preparing for the great day ahead.
