Maan remembered the rains when she hugged him for the first time... He saw a sweet innocent child in her as she played in the rains... but there was something else in her eyes when she hugged him... Pain... Hope... Why was there pain in her eyes??? He remembered seeing the same pain the last time he saw her... He tried to find her...but it seemed that she had disappeared but he wasnt one among those who left hope... He was still trying to find her and he would continue doing it till either he found her or death took him away... He then got up and went to his room n changed and took Geet's photo and sat on the rocking chair looking at it. He soon dozed off.

The night passed and gave way for a new morning. But it wasnt a new morning for either Geet nor Maan. They were still there where they were a month back. Maan in the hospital bed waiting for Geet... His Mishty... while Geet was outside the ward looking at Maan for the last time... Though they had moved ahead with their life but they were still stuck there looking into each other's eyes...

Maan woke up early and first went and checked on Dadi... He was not the only one who was hurt and in pain after Geet left but everyone was... Dadi seemed to have lost herself in some place... She never smiled nor she talked much... She would just sit in her room staring at a place... Maan went and touched her feet and then helped her stand up and took her for a walk in the garden... Dadi didnt talk just walked... It was as if she had become lifeless... Maan had tears seeing his family like this... He wanted to be angry on Geet and hate her for the tears and pain his family was in but he couldnt... Not after reading her letter...
