Chapter 5

The day went by with everyone taking care of Geet. The kids entertained their mother with their silly antics. Maan also made an appointment for the next day. He was very excited with the news and couldn't wait to confirm it with the doctor. He couldn't even sleep the whole night. He already had 3 beautiful children yet he was as excited about this pregnancy as he was with the first one. He didn't have a brother or sister so he grew up alone. He always felt jealous of other kids and that's why he always wanted to have more than just one kid.

Maan was the first one to wake up the next morning. He decided to let Geet sleep for some more and went to get the boys ready. He got in the room to see Aryan already awake and playing with his cars. The twins were still sleeping so he moved to Aryan and picked him. He threw the kid up in the air, making him laugh. "Let's get you ready, buddy!" said Maan taking him to the bathroom.

"Mommy?" Aryan enquired about his mother.

"Mommy is still sleeping so daddy is going to get you ready today, okay?"

"Okay!" Aryan replied cutely.

Maan gave him a shower and got him wrapped up in his towel. He came out of the bathroom with Aryan to see that the twin are already awake and chasing each other around the room.

"Go get in the shower, boys! You can chase each other around later," Maan said, while dressing Aryan up for the day.

"I will go first," they both said, challenging each other and racing toward the bathroom.

He finally got the boys ready and made his way back to his room. Geet was still sleeping so he decided to wake her up. He climbed back on the bed and whispered into her ear, "Wake up, sleeping beauty." Geet slowly opened her eyes and wished him good morning. They got ready and left for the hospital. They left the kids for Daadi, she loved spending time with the kids.

When they got to the hospital, they were both nervous and excited. Maan was more nervous than Geet. When they were waiting for the reports, he paced up and down the hospital lobby. And when the reports came out, his happiness knew no bound. He pulled Geet into a bone crushing hug and she had to warn him that she couldn't breathe. He was too happy and this time he just knew that it's going to be a girl.

They went straight home. They couldn't wait to share the news with Daadi and the kids. Daadi came out of the kitchen and saw Maan and Geet entering the house.

"So, how was it?" Daadi asked cheerfully.

"We are having a baby, Daadi!" Maan replied as cheerfully.

Geet went and hugged Daadi and she gave them her blessing. And she informed them that the kids went to their room to play with their toys. Maan called them down and asked them to sit and then they sat in front of them.

Geet: "We have a news to share with you guys."

Veer: "Is it a good news?"

Maan: "Yes, it is!"

Yash: "What is it then?"

Geet: "You are going to have a baby brother or sister soon"

Yash: "But we already have a baby brother."

Veer: "Yea, we have Aryan!"

Geet: "Yes, but we are having one more baby!"

Veer: "Really? Then can we please have a baby sister this time, pretty please?"

Maan: "Sure!"

Geet: "Maan..."

Maan: "Oh, I mean, we don't know yet if its girl or boy, but you can pray and ask God to send you a sister this time."

Yash: "How long do we have to wait?"

Maan: "About eight months,"

Veer: "But that's a very long wait!"

Maan: "Tell me about it."
