The Downpour... Part 35

"Sir, where are to taking me away?''

Worried Geet asked, staring him who was not at all giving her any of reply and so her curiosity was increasing up more.

She was not getting how Maan could be in his client house and now taking her doesn't know where and what if Dadi see us!!!

"Maan tell me where are we going and how you can be here???''

Till then they had reached to his study room. Maan pushed door and brought her inside and comfortably keeps her on the couch. He came back and closed the door and turned to Geet. She was watching everything with widen eyes and had no clue what was happening there!!

"Maan sir, please tell me!!'' she tried to stand up but then abruptly fell back due to pain. Maan runs and almost shouted,

"Can't you stay silent for a minute Geet!!! Is it necessary to show your stunt every time and everywhere before me!!!''

Geet made face and looked side. She was angry now. "Neither is he telling me why he came here furthermore shouting on me with no reason at all. Hadd hai!!''

"I didn't say you to watch my stunts every time standing over there!!'' She angrily spitted.

"What,,, what did you just say??''

"Ohh! Nothing!!'' She immediately thanked Babaji he didn't listen anything. Her leg was still hurting her.

Maan neared her. "Show me''

She looked him confused what did he mean? "Kya?''

"Geet! I'm talking about your leg. Let me check it!!'' without waiting for her reply he sat opposite her and held her feet and suddenly current runs over inside Geet body. It was so fast that she could not keep control on her action and slipped leg back abruptly "What are you doing?''

But Maan was in mood to listen her. He glared her and his one look was enough to make her silent. It was like his eyes were becoming puppeteers and keeping control of her eyes and she was doing what he wanted to make her do.

Maan kneeled down on floor and kept her feet on his knee. He softly fondles her feet and then pressed the area which was swollen. She shut eyes feeling extreme pain and a tear drop slipped out from her eyes and stopped on her chin to jump down but Maan caught it in his palm. Same like a shell guards pearl keeping it inside, he drunk the drop to keep this pearl forever safe, inside him.

He checked what had happened and found her ankle was twisted due to sudden slip. He held it tight and twisted at once making Geet cry in pain and she clutched his shoulder to lessen it. Maan wanted to sooth her pain. He slightly stroked her ankle and gave a soft peak there. It gave Geet reason to open her eyes and she witnessed, he was still looking her with same intensity which makes her forget the pain which had been lessened already.

"Is it still hurting Geet?''

She shook head. "Thank you''

Maan kept her leg on floor. He searched for her shoes but it was not there. "Where is your shoes?'' He asked looking around.

"It's downstairs, in hall. When Dadima.. Mean Savitri Ma'am told me to go in Annie room I left it there!''

And then Maan remembered Dadi's words. He stood up at once fearing "was Dadi talking about Geet???''

His eyes widen in shock. "But how did she know I love her!!'' he glared Geet who was herself confused to see sudden change in him.

"Geet what did you say to Dadi??''

"Dadi??'' She did not understand. "Who Maan?'' She stood up somehow.

"Savitri Devi Geet.. Did you tell her anything about ''' he stopped. How could he have asked if she had told anything about them!!

"About what?? And why are you calling your client, Dadi?'' Now she was also in same argue mood in which he was. She had been annoyed with the puzzle he was giving her to solve.

"Client??' Now it was time for Maan to become confused. He had no idea that Geet used to think Dadi, his client. He had just forgotten the little talk between them where he had said SD was his client because he was on phone that time and just had nodded on whatever Geet had asked.

"Haa client Maan, Savitri Devi is our client''

"And who said you this??''

"You himself said it.. Remember the day you had brought me here, you himself had told that we are going to meet your client, did you forget Maan!!''

He pressed eyes tight to keep calm. Everything was so confusing and above of all, Dadima is started doubting that they are together and this can lead to the biggest embarrassment for Maan.

"You didn't tell me how you are here??'' She was still waiting for his answer. She was equally confused with entire happenings and at the time, Maan cell rung. It was Dadi.

He became tensed seeing her call. He knew now had to play smart but it was not easy to win over his own grandmother.

"Maan your phone is ringing'' Geet saw him stood lost.

Maan glared her and took call. "Ji Dadima''

"Again Dadi!!'' She thought but till now she had understood he was referring to SD but why, did not understand.

"So how is girl Beta?'' Dadi chuckled and Maan heard it. He looked toward Geet who was standing there with big curious eyes, twisting her wet Dupatta in anticipation and looking so cute. Even in tension smiled touched his lips. Now he was calm. He moved some far from Geet, not to let her hear their weird talk.

"Dadima, there is no one is in Annie room!!''

"What!!'' Now it was Dadi turn to get shock. "No one there mean?? She was there Beta, did you check properly?''

"Yes Dadima I did check. The room was empty so now I'm going to my study room and I need no disturbance there, please Dadi, I will be on video call with a client''

"Okay Beta'' SD said disappointed and they disconnected call. She was still in surprise where did Geet go?

She called servant and asked. He said that he had left Geet near room and then left.

"Bhola, why did you leave her alone? At least should have waited there until she comes out!!!'' SD yelled on him thinking she must have lost the way to come back, in this big mansion. She herself tried to find her.

Maan cut call when Geet came and pocked his shoulder. He turned to her keeping phone on table beside.

"Mr. Maan sir, will you tell me anything, what is happening here!!'' She had been damn irritated now.

"Nothing Geet, nothing happening here'' He was not relaxed. He knew he had turned the table and now had got enough time to spend with her, here, in this study room where no one would come to disturb him till he himself don't call them. He very casually came and sat on chair and started to look in some file. It irritated Geet more.

She walked toward door. "I have to go home''

"You can't Geet'' She stopped and looked back. Found him still engrossed in file. She made frustrated face and tried to open door but it was locked. She looked him back in shock.
