The scene on the hospital bed was making me weep. The way he kept talking to her, reminding her who she actually was. How he sees her. What he wants from her. Painting a picture for her of what she needs to get up and do. I loved that.

Then came the actual part where he indeed heals her.

Just the whole scene where he erases the bad touch was what she neededMore than anything, she felt herself unworthy of him. Once she felt that there was no hope left for her, she had no reason to live... That is why he did it. not for himself... I love that about his desperate attempts to save her.

The way he kept saying that who is the one doing this... it is his ego also and also him forcing himself mentally in her head and creating that association.Giving her a reason to live...👏

You updated this part in bits & pieces and I read them in bits and pieces, so with each new addition I have my heartbeat raising. I had thought that part 23 I will always treasure but NO, this one is added to the list with this one being the topmost in the list for now. A beautiful piece with nerve wreaking nervousness anticipating the next progression and high speed pumping blood in my cardiac system 😆 you're brilliant you know that.

The update started off with the end of the last one "'She is his wife'" Wow the numbing silence & anxiety was perceptible. She was taken for a toss completely. She must not have even ever imagined this news and that too coming out in front of her minutes after her heartfelt confession. She must have felt her heart squeeze when Arjun remained quiet not protesting once to Satya's claim. She pinned for his one refusal, that even though Satya was talking to her she had her eyes fixated on Arjun for getting some solace. Satya yet took it all calmly & continuously wanted her to hear it all out. And then comes the final blow when Arjun agreed to it so sincerely that it meant the world to him, this single fact of their relation.

Poor Dia ' But I would say fear not Satya is here for you, why I'm right na? He had kept a watch in Geet and then Dia. Hmmm Satya babu must say along with his Bhai he had his own motive too. )Just kidding) I really adored Satya when he said that he is the "cupid" that too winking at her, trying to ease it for her as he knows it's not such a light matter for a girl like Dia. All of Dia's questioning & every doubt must have come to a standstill with the harsh realisation Satya drilled in Arjun would have shared it with her if he trusted her for it. But no he trusted Dia for self but not for his life' his JAAN.. his Geet. This proves Geet is much more important to him than anyone. Only if this Maan in him would have realised headstrong earlier without Satya involving in so much could have been avoided. He could come out clear about Arjun=Maan. That no pain, hurt & humiliation now boils down to anything above his love. What had me grinning was "He can't trust you with this information, but on the other hand I do'." Oh my quite a lot is given out Satya ji.. *winkwink*

When Arjun moves out as he realises that it's the most treasured and cherished love story ' I fell for this teacher again. ❤️

Girls are complicated, when you feel you can trust them, they start off with other language'. 🤣 Oh my I wanted to say this is so because girls think from their Heart that has more space for all while men think from their mind. I ahs heard a saying and quite believe it that for a successful relation the woman should understand her Man more & love less as that's what they need, while the man should only love his woman above all and not try understanding her at all. Saves all complications' 😆

The outside scene where he is angry on Geet to think for him to move on was too good. I loved it that he didn't take it the other way. He does know what she must have felt. Then came the phone call and I skipped a beat, honestly I was so shocked ki ab kya hua?

It was nerve wreacking, my neurons were firing at great speed to absorb all of it & yet understand. I had Goosebumps with that description. His anxiety & numbness was touching. How he zoned out everyone except them two. He made her form clung to him' "Clung the body with himself.. trying to induce his life in her from him'" Oh I was so touched by this. It showed his ultimate acceptance, helplessness and fear to lose his only relation & love. She had closed her eyes the last time he had seen her while tucking her in her bed after the hospital visit and since then he couldn't see her love filled eyes. The way he sat static holding onto her dupata was so painful. The flashbacks scenes of her confession, her helplessness, his humiliation, his so called hate, her guilt & punishment, herself disgust, her insecurity and loneliness, his being late in realising it all, the rooftop words 'Because I have no one else; all of it was so well mingled. Great description! I could feel it all happening in front of me. I was afraid of this from the very beginning. That it shouldn't be too late for him to realise how far his Geet has gone not one that he knew of; not this one who is depressed, lost on life, clinging to hope to die saying him to move on. I was afraid that the opportunity if a second chance will be too dreading. And this will push him in self failure and dejection but he rose off it marvellously for them, for her, for his wife.

Mr. Sahay ' is my another favourite here. He's such a cutie. He knew it all, saw it all and understood the undercurrents. He helped these two love birds, facing Anant bravely & uniquely in his own way, also helping Arjun to be away from Anant. Even so much so taking the blame off Arjun on himself, just because he knew that no harm should come more than that has come on these two souls destined to be together.

Anant comes in now. I just don't know what to feel for him. He saw his dead wife's state in Geet yet I feel nothing for him. He raises so many Qs in my mind. Hard nut to crack I say. He comes now and shows his authority & so called love for Geet where was he when she actually needed him as father figure to protect. That time he wanted to safeguard his own reputation. That's why Uday gave all of Geet's responsibility to Arjun as there could be none other than him for his Daughter. Indeed Arjun is worthy of Geet and the only guardian. Now too he asked whether she's raped. Again just thinking of his name status and reputation, not once going to comfort his granddaughter. I loved the Doc's answer that she is a virgin, that's what people like Anant are concerned with A fitting reply to him.

I have literally no words for you today,reet...!!! You have outdone yourself in this chapter..!! Each and every word in the update went into my heart straightforwardly,may be because each word of this chpater had come from you heart...!!!

Arjun,is by far,best maan I have ever found in any of the stories on GF..His monologue in hospitals was very painful and It told everything,what he felt,what he is feeling right now, in his words...Sometimes i wonder,who is suffering more here,Maan or geet..???

You have perfectly maintained the meaning of "The title"of this story,in this chapter..The one who was trying to bring out geet from her depressing state with his clever{sorry i could not find any other word} words,was "Her teacher"...!!! He was encouraging his student to fight back and show the world that she has not lost yet...!!

and the one who was trying to make her forget the "worst-est" memory of her life,was "Her lover"..He wasn't touching her during those moments..He was "Healing" her...!!!

Take a bow Reet for conceptualizing this..!!! I honestly can't put in words,what i felt while reading this portion..I would call it "sacred intimacy" in true senses..Because It did not make butterflies churn in my stomach,It soothed,warmed as well as pained my heart simultaneously...!!! I want to dedicate all the "praising adjectives" in this world to you for writing this story...!!!

Coming to other characters,,

Dia-Girl has known alot in such short time span..I am wondering how she managed to digest such vast information...I am liking her more and more,as the story is progressing...!!! Though,she has confused maan with her confession but it was needed,you know..Arjun would keep his behaviour in check around her now,i guess. and dia would be saved from getting false hopes from him...

Satya- He is indeed a "cupid",,and my feeling is getting stronger.This cupid is hit by his own love arrow...He is surely falling for Miss Dia...

Ananat- No comments..His presence scares me always..!

Awasthi ji- I think,he has some important role in future..!!!

Mr.Sahay- He is the lucky one to witness a "real love story" with his own eyes..I love him for his mature understanding towards Arjun's behaviour around Geet...I love him for his trust on arjun and geet both...

Sunanda- I am sure,she has some plans for Vikas..Since satya is also accompanying dia to hostel,I am pretty excited to know what would happen there...???

Waiting eagerly for next instalment...

ps- Special thanks for giving us such long chapters,reet,,Hope my poor comments could compensate little the hard work you are putting in this story..I might not included some things in my comment but that does not mean I have ignored them...Each and every word of your chapter are like gem,i cherish in my heart.,either it was arjun's attempt to make Geet smile by saying that she did not let doctor check her because she was already aware of her inefficiency...,or his words when he begged geet that she won't forget his touch..!!!!

You probably do not know me as this is my first time commenting on your work. I will be frank that I have not read your other works (but will do soon😛). I started reading my teacher couple of days back and you have made me crazy...yes absolutely crazy.

I write a FF too and most of the time when I ma free I keep on imagining my own story. But your FF has taken my capability to think of anything else other than this FF and characters of this FF.

I hardly cry but this story has made corners of my eye burn so many times in these past few days. I keep on thinking of Geet, Arjun, Sunanda, Dia even satya for that matter all the time.

You are an absolutely fantastic writer. I had heard so many rave reviews of your other work but I did not read because it was left on hold. But now I am hoping you have completed it so I will go and read it as well.

Coming to this story, what can I say. Child marriage and girl forgetting her husband or vice versa has been a topic of many a movies. A teacher/student love relationship is also not a new one. But your unique blending of two and writing style has just turned this into a brilliant piece of art. Such impecable writing style that even simplest of words bring out the emotions in the readers. Every chapter, every character, every track from start to now is just a piece of sheer beauty.

I can't possibly comment for all parts but will definately start now. Last chapter was once again a masterpiece. So many things hapenned starting from Dia coming to know the truth and quite an advancement in satya's character. He comes across as a positive force trying to anchor both Maan and Dia. Amidst all dark thoughts, his sole sane voice was enough to disperse those dark clouds. he rightly said that Maan's silence was making things worse. Dia needed to understand depth of Maan-Geet relationship. She isn't wrong but she needs to be stopped before she falls too deep in the emotional well called Arjun.

Geet's depression was evident when she asked Dia to help Arjun move on. That was her acceeptance of defeat. She was already wilting under the burden of her self loathing and Arjun's hatred or punsihment but Vikas's filthy touches just pushed her into the tranche called worthlessnes. She doesn't see herself worthy of him any more.

Her helpless loneliness was just palpable as she laid on that bed with Arjun's words finally not having any affect on her being. Maan's touch to remove Vikas's dirty touch was emotional. I have written somehting similar myslef so could relate to it and as always you expressed it beautifully. Now when she will see herself, feel herself, touch herself she can't hate herself. Bceause it is not Vikas's touch but Maan's touch which is ingrained in her memory.

Anant and his behaviour - what can I say. Can't expect anything more from him. But one line touched me. He saw his own dead wife in Geet. Maybe...just maybe he loves her in his own twisted way but in the end he is too manipulative to keep that love honest and pure.

Once again beautiful story. i am sure you get such comments ona regular basis but still it is my pleasure to say that you have earned yourself a new fan.
