This is about 4 cancer patients who are best buddies.In that case it may be similar to The Bucket List and Four Friends.But the story is different from these movies.Instead of concentrating on the friends i will concentrate on Maan Geet.
Maan Singh Khurana,Soorya,Gauri and Daksh come from entirely different backgrounds, but one thing that they have in common is cancer. Maan is a multi-millionaire; Daksh is a poor guy ; Soorya is a musician; and Gauri lives in distress, troubled by her stepmother after her father's death.Each of them is dying from the disease (blood, liver, bone, lungs cancer) and they all come for treatment to a plush hospital.Slowly they become good friends.They decide to go to Malaysia to meet Soorya's girlfriend.
They all reached the Malaysian University where Soorya's girl friend Satya was studying.Soorya's face blossomed seeing Satya coming.Maan,Daksh and Gauri were happy to see Satya.
Daksh:Soorya..you are lucky to be loved by some one you love.
He smiled as he considered himself lucky in that case.
Soorya:Satya!I am so happy to see you after a long time.
Daksh:Let us go.They can have private time.
Satya:No need.There is no need of spending time alone.
They were confused.
Satya:Look Soorya..i used to love you.But i came to Malaysia to break up with you.
They were shocked.
Soorya's lips shivered:Break up?
Satya:Yes.I am practical.I don't want to spend my life with a dying patient.
Soorya was shattered.He struggled hard to control his tears.He ran away.
Maan:Yes,he is a dying patient.But instead of consoling him you wounded his heart.This is cruelty.
Gauri was fuming with anger.She moved towards her and slapped her.They were shocked.
G:What kind of a girl you are?You have never loved you.It was just a time pass for you.Otherwise you would not have hurt Soorya who came traveling a long distance just to see you.You should have tried to comfort him through love.
Satya was angry:You slapped me for Soorya?
G:Yes.You deserved it.
Satya:If you feel sad for him then why don't you give him love?
Her words struck Gauri's heart.
Gauri was'nt willing to accept defeat:Sometimes i may do that also.
Maan:Instead of fighting with this heartless girl we will go find Soorya.He needs us now.He will be shattered.
They all went out.They were shocked to see Soorya lying unconscious.
He was taken to the hospital.
Gauri cried:Because of that cruel girl Soorya's condition became worse.
Maan tried to give her courage:Gauri...don't be depressed.Nothing will happen to our Soorya.
G:Since my mom's death and my father's remarriage i have never gone to temple.But today i will go to the temple to pray for Soorya.If God does'nt save Soorya like he did'nt save my mom and father i will never go to temple.
Gauri went out.
Daksh:Maan..i really thought that inspite of being a dying patient his girl friend loves him.But i was wrong.No one loves dying patients.People just have sympathy for us.We don't have the right to love anyone or long for anyone's love.Right Maan?
Maan kept silent.
D:If we are not loved by anyone why should we live?I am still confused whether we should I die purposefully before God takes away or should we live for a while till we die naturally due to our disease.
Maan..have you ever been in love?
Maan looked at Daksh for a moment.Though they were friends first time his personal life was being enquired.
Without saying anything he sat on the chair closing his eyes.
A beautiful face came into his mind.Her thin,yet beautiful silky hair,her innocence,her sweet smile,her cute face...
His inner soul called out her name:Geet!
Flash back...
Maan took Geet to a restaurant.
GEET:Maan...why are we here?You know that i am not foody.I'm dieting.
Maan:Oh!Don't spoil the romantic evening by talking about dieting.
Open you eyes and see.
She observed the place.It was beautifully decorated with lit candles.
She was surprised:Maan!
He took out a diamond ring:Geet...will you marry me?
She smiled nodding her head with surprise.
He put the ring on her finger.
After a week they exchanged rings in the engagement ceremony.Maan could not take his eyes off her.She was very beautiful in her lovely golden saree.
