The Downpour... Part 25

Geet was walking silently with Maan on soundless lane toward her home. She was lost in her various thoughts which were entirely filled with Maan only and his unusual but pleasurable activities. Though she felt, he had gone beyond limit by hugging her but then she opposed back her own thought, thinking he was so worried for her.

"But why?? Why he was so worried for me that it seemed he will lose his sense, his comfort even if I would not get back to him!!!!''

She couldn't think for any answer. Her mind was blank. Geet glimpsed to Maan direction, who was walking matching, steps with her. He was looking straight, lost in limitlessness of this road but least did she know that his mind was totally engrossed in her thoughts.

"Sir, we reached'

She turned to him and said softly. Maan would have to go now, this realization pained his heart. He wanted to be with her for more time but knew it was not possible. With heavy heart he left. Geet stared him till he did not go disappear taking turn and then she pressed the doorbell.

"Geet where were you??''

Asha temper raised seeing Geet coming back at this late hour of night. She was shouting on her but Geet had no effect of her any word because her ear, mind, heart, even every part of body were deeply occupied with the thought of Maan. For the relief of Ash she just said she had gone with Maan sir, visiting a construction site and then went in her room locking door on face of Asha who was looking Geet in disbelief.

She changed in fresh pair cloths and lay down on bed to keep away her tiredness but seemed it was the toughest task for her. She was restless, tossing, turning every now and then and finally she sat up in frustration. Her eyes turned to the direction where she had hang the jacket on wall which Maan had returned her back saying,

"It's now yours Geet!!''

"But why did he say that!!!'' Her innocent, curious mind wanted to get answer but no one was there to relieve her curiosity. She stood up and went near and took jacket in arms. She caressed it lovingly. It was feeling so thrilling after knowing Maan was the one who had given her the very first feel of closeness. He was the man who was there in her life since start but never had she recognized him. Today all those moments became alive, she was so much living in those events and slowly she felt her conscious wanted to be relaxed. She kept jacket near her and slept in peace.

Maan was so much occupied by her memories around him. He could not sleep nor could get a blink after returning back in mansion. He was still trying to catch some sleep but it was hard to do. He tried to engage mind in exercise even but failed. Every time and everywhere Geet image was disturbing him and finally he left the very thought of sleeping.

With open eyes he was imagining her, lying straight on bed. Her gifted flowers caught his attention which he had kept in beautiful vase. He went and brought those beautiful pastels on his bed started playing with them. He wrote GEET with these petals then wrote ' I Love You''

He laughed on his own childish activities but it was fun though and he was so much enjoying it.

Her smile, her shyness, her blush when he kissed her cheeks everything was playing in his mind like a film. When she gifted him flower, when he kissed her.. Everything was just so exciting.

"Oh God I wish I could see her now!!!''

He fell flat on bed feeling so thrilled. Everywhere around him, petals were scattered, was touching his body. It was feeling so soft, so feather like Geet. He closed eyes smiling and slept finally thinking about her.

"Geettt!!! Hurry up yaar .. Getting late!!!!!''

Asha was shouting wearing her watch, banging door of Geet room and Geet was shouting from inside " cominggg!!!!!''

Both were getting late for office and it was Geet first day also, she took special time to be ready.

They hurriedly locked door and run to catch any taxi. They reached KC just few minutes before time. Asha came down and Geet was paying money to driver when Asha saw lift was getting closed.

"Geet Run Geett run!!!!''

She clutched Geet hand and dragged her running in speed toward lift that Geet couldn't composed herself and straightway landed in Maan arms, who was there in lift and then door became shut.

Asha was shocked to see this scenario and same was Maan who couldn't understand what happened but suddenly felt Geet in his arm like God was so much eager to complete his wish!!

Poor Geet was still in shock. She was still unaware what happened to her and where she was! She moved her face slightly which was rested on Maan chest and in process her lips touched his bare portion of neck. Maan startled with her touch on his skin. His hold on her waist tightened in reflex and Geet gasped.

It happened enough fast to be understood by Asha who was feeling jealous seeing Geet in Maan arms and did not notice their little moment of closeness. Maan was so lost in her touch that he almost forgot where he was and Geet, when she came back in sense her face had turned into tomato red without her know. She moved back feeling odd.

Geet found Maan hands were still on her waist, not ready to leave her. She removed his hand and then Maan came back in sense and immediately left her feeling embarrassed. He turned face to hide his blush which had suddenly appeared on his face which went unnoticed by both girls.

Precap : "What you are searching Geet!!'' Geet was searching for her 100 rupees note under table, bending down on floor when Maan sudden voice made her draw back and her head hit with table..
