The Downpour... Part 15

"Ye aap kya kar rahe!!'

She shocked with his act but Maan single glare was enough to shut her mouth and she found herself being laid on her bed and then a blanket was engulfing her in embrace and then she saw he was trying to search something.

"where is your medicines?'

"I don't have one' she said meekly due to weakness. She was feeling embarrass and also strange that a man whom she had been hated since long was taking care of her and that also after a wild argument. She tried to find any annoyance or rage in his expression but there was only concern.

Maan looked her hopelessly. Her body was heating badly and her body was pale.

"You are really crazy you know Geet''

She couldn't help but slightly smiled on his statement but it did not stay for long, she hid it.

"I am just back in few minutes Geet. Going to take medicines and Dare you to move or walk!!!''

His voice had command that she had to nod in yes without delay. He left giving her enough time to analyze the situation.

"Was he really innocent? But how it can be possible when I had seen his running behind me! But what he said was also truth that if he would want, could have done anything with me. Even now he is caring for me when I said whatever came in my mind. But not for once he behaved violently''

Her head was paining. She closed her eyes and in mind, their closeness appeared making her feel peace with touch of uneasiness though. His touch, his scent and his tender hold on her waist was giving her unknown sensation. Her mind toured to the past when same feeling she had felt with the stranger's jacket. She was surprised how their feels were equal.

"Why I can still feel him. His smell is still fresh in my mind. I am feeling him around me, very close. His hand is touching my loose curls. It is slipping down with tender caress. I like his way. His finger is so soft that my skin feeling like feather and now he is making way to my cheeks. It's going toward my lips. How my lips are enjoying his touch. I feel like a princess. I know it's wrong. I know it's not right to think about him, like this way but I know it's only a dream. I know he cannot be true and I know I would not let it be true ever''

She instantly make her eyes open and found Maan was stood on door, staring her. She pulled blanket till chest feeling awkward. Once her dream and then, a guy in her room at this night, alone. It was blend emotions for her.

"I bring water'

Saying, Maan left to kitchen. His breathing was rapid, heart was beating carelessly. His mind yelled to stop behaving like this but he was happy somewhere to steal moments of their nearness, few minutes before.

He recalled how she was sleeping relaxed when he came back. He could not take his eyes off from her. She was beautiful, indeed very beautiful and alluring. He couldn't help but bent over her. Her face was so close that his finger automatically desired to touch it, to feel her warm skin below his finger. He liked playing with her waving strands then came down to her chubby cheeks. It was the place he had touched before. He caressed the area with care and then her inviting lips. He amazed that she was literally smiling. He smiled too feeling satisfied but then, her smile faded. He moved back and walked away and then saw her opening her eyes slowly.

"Did she know it was me?'' he was worried and as saw her staring him, he excused and went in kitchen.

Geet was waiting for him as why he was taking so long when saw him coming back. She sat up and tried to look composed. Maan made her eat pills and then said to take rest.

"Mujhe nind nahi aa rahi'

He looked her back. She was looking so innocent, wearing in her pink cotton Kurti and Patiyala. Her hair was casually loose with no tint of any make-up of face. She was staring him to get any reply but found only to stare her, she shied and bowed down face.

Maan smiled slightly. "Why I like everything in her!!'

"We can have some talk, if you want''

She nodded. Maan left out from room and Geet took a thin shawl and covered around and followed him. They settled in hall, Geet in one-person couch and Maan in chair facing her. They were silent. Both were not sure where to start conversation but both wanted it badly.

"Geet if you want, you can tell me everything. I may help you!' Lastly Maan broke the silence.

"Why you will Maan? Why do you want to help me?''

She searched his eyes, waited eagerly. Maan looked her back. His mind roamed inward to find explanation of his unknown reaction but could not find any!

"What to say.. What I reply you Geet when I also don't know why I want to help you, want to do end of your all sufferings so that can see a small smile on your beautiful lips''

He thought, his eyes travelled to her lips that Geet noticed. She felt peculiar.

"Do you have coffee Geet? I need to take one cup for me!'

Maan suddenly diverted the situation, making it light. He stood up, not to able to control her eye-gaze. He could not trust him-self. His heart was making a long list of wishes and desires were coloring his imagination with variant illusions in which, only she was ruling on.

As he took first step Geet stopped him, holding his hand from back.

"You dint tell me. Kyu aaye thy aap yaha"

Maan had not patience to look her back or response back.

"Please Geet, can we aside this questionnaire for later. I'm hungry now''

She left his hand. Maan made way to kitchen and when he found that she was not in sight, he signed.

"I don't know Geet what happened me, what I feel? I can't define I, can't explain and I can't give it any name!!! I don't know why I feel good when my eyes steal glimpse of you without your know! I don't know why my eyes make path to your face always! I don't know why my ears hear the words of your sealed lips! Why my nose writhe for the smell of your scent! Why my heart want to tap on the rhythm of your heartbeats and why I cannot feel repose until you come in front of me! I don't know what this are but I will know soon Geet and then will tell you everything with my open heart and whole of mine!!''

Geet came and saw him lost with holding a empty cup. She tapped his shoulder once.. twice.. thrice ..

"Maan!!!'' She used her mouth then to shout that made him drew back!! He felt embarrass.

"Wo I can't find where is milk!!'' He covered up his unease.

"Aap hatiye.. I make it for you''

Saying she tucked her loose hair into bun and lit up the gas. Maan immediately raised hand to stop her tying her hair but then stopped.

"I like your open hair Geet!' he thought.

She was busy in boiling milk. Maan came closer from back. He steadily touched her bun and opened it, letting her long curls fall at once, whirling and he felt delighted seeing them..

Precap : "So see you soon in office Miss Geet!!' Maan left smirking..
