PART 1:

Humne aapse poocha yeh ladki kaun hai maan?? Dadima stared at the girl angrily, who stood behind maan out of fear.

Dadima we will speak about this later ... nakul please take her to the guest house maan said walking inside his room but not before glancing at his misti who stood in the kitchen. He didn't know how would he explain as to what happened a day ago!! For maan his relations were always important than his work, his priority for business always seemed higher than anything for his family who was nothing but his brother dev and dadima!! The truth, his life, his secrets everything was only known to his misti, his love. The way he stole his glance with that geet understood he was facing a tornado in heart. Her steps moved, yet she stopped not making any initiative towards him. Something was bothering him!! What?? Probably because of the girl who came with him just then, She wanted to know but from his mouth. It was late night, he did not eat anything ... geet smiled arranging food for maan in a plate. It was the night of karvachauth ... Shaadi se pehle ka mera akhri karvachauth!! She was so much excited, she blushed!! Well that was an hour ago and now she painfully looked at her hand with was adorned with mehendi with his name. She placed her palms near her nose and took in the fragrance ... I love this scent of your mehendi misti!! It says you are mine!! She remembered his words and turned around. This was not what she expected, he didn't seem to notice her!! She was in the same red saree he gifted just like his dulhan!! Why does she felt he appeared so withdrawn to her?? For the first time ever she was scared for their relation, scared that he was hiding something which she wouldn't be able to bear!! Geet came out of her trance and looked at the thali that was on the table, she expected him to break her fast yet with the agony residing inside her she only cared of maan then ... Geet unhone kuch khaya bhi nahi hai tu bus jaa unko khana dede khud ke baare kyun soch rahi hai tu?? Jaroor koi badi baat hogi warna maan iss tarah kabhi nahi karte!! She mentally told herself and held the plate of food. Her steps left the kitchen, god never she felt that his room was so far from it!! She was climbing the steps when she saw her puppy dog shero sleeping there ever so cutely. Geet bent down and kissed him on his forehead, she finally entered maan's room which was dark with the door wide open. A lump formed in her throat, maan never does such weird things and her heart began to anticipate something worst!! She went towards the switch board, and the moment her finger touched the switch ... Geet please I know why you are here just go away!! He yelled making her jump back in fear.

She stood there with a blank face not intending to leave as maan will follow her that was what always had to happened and what happened next was inevitable. She felt his hand clutch her hair ... Damn don't you understand?? I told you to leave!! Iss liye yaha aayi ho taaki yeh jatao ki you own me?? Geet painfully looked at his face, his forehead creased as he knows the answer well rather than her. He didn't seem to stop, he had to be strong!! He was fighting within!! Not sure how far would he succeed yet he was trying his best not to show his weak self infront of his misti!! And the irony was that she was fathoming every single gesture of him!! Every single expression of his helplessness!!

Yaha se jao geet I am not going to break your fast!! Ab tumhara aur mera koi rishta nahi he closed his eyes stopping himself from breaking down infront of his misti. But geet did not move an inch, which only angered him further. She was making it all difficult for him. Her eyes bored deep into his questioning him which he hated to answer, frustration took over his senses ... I told you geet tumhara koi haq nahi hai mujh par!! Mere liye koi vrath rakhne ki koi jaroorat nahi hai, he thought that she brought the thali to break her fast, but shocking him his misti replied

Usme aapka khana hai maan I know you did not eat anything, khana kha lijiye main chali jaongi, she served the food on the table. For the first time maan was not relating her behavior, his chulbuli si geet was not protesting, not questioning, she was not showing her right on him which was pricking his heart. She made him sit, mixing the curry with rice she offered him the food ever so lovingly, that was when his sight fell on her face. Her bindi, her jhumka, her naulakka, her hair tied into a plat, the chain adoring her neck which was gifted by him with their initials on it. That was it!! maan couldn't even breath unable to hold the love that was oozing from her eyes, he harshly pushed her hand away which was near his mouth offering him the niwala. Geet again took another niwala and placed it near his mouth, he shoved her hand away!! She again did the same, finally losing his patience he threw the plate down

Meri biwi banne ki koshish mat karo!! You cannot be my wife!! Don't you dare try ... woh ladki jo mere saath aayi thi main usse shaadi karne waala hoon!! Jaan liye jo janna tha?? Now please don't bother me with all this concern of yours!! He declared, geet only smiled at his answer.

Mujhe juch nahi janna maan bus aapko khana dena tha lekin ab mere naseeb mein woh bhi nahi hai!! Jaroor maine koi paap kiya tha iss liye aap mere nahi ho sakte!! Geet ran out of the room muffling her cries so that maan would not see her tears.

Dadima entered the room to place a tight slap on his face, she held his collar and slapped him again ... Yeh kya kiya aapne?? You are going to marry geet in just a week ab kya hua?? How could you do this with her?? She did not eat anything since morning and what did you do?? Sach keh rahi hoon maan agar aapne geet ka vrath nahi khola toh main bhi kuch nahi khaongi, saying so dadima fainted and the doctor had to attend on her.

After an hour, maan sat on the bed as the images of geet haunted him!! He felt like killing himself for hurting her so badly. Just then geet entered the room with the thali, she couldn't break the fast as it was for maan!! For his long life, as soon as he felt her around maan he gulped hard and then she knocked the door seeking his permission to enter the room. She never thought that she would land in such situation, it was their room and now she was just a stranger. She entered, stood infront of him understanding his situation geet spoke ... Ghabrayiye mat!! Main bus aapse baat karne aayi hoon, agar aapko meri baat thik lage toh maaniye ... Warna koi jabardasti nahi hai ... aap jaante hai na dadima ne kasam khali woh naahi kuch khayenge naahi kuch peeyenge aur aap yeh bhi jaante hai ki kuch hi der pehle dadima thik hui hai ab aise mein woh khana peena band kardenge toh unki sehat phir se kharab ho jayegi iska hame koi na koi raasta toh dhoondna hi hoga aur raasta bhi sirf ek hai maan ... Dekhiye aap bus mujhe paani pilaadijiye isse mera vrath bhi khul jayega aur dadima ki kasam bhi puri ho jayegi, he just couldn't take geet pleading him like that!! Pata nahi kis modh peh aagaya dono ka rishta jaha itne paas hoke bhi dur hai ek duje se!!

Seeing him lost geet continued ... Aap kisi duvida mein mat rahiye paani ke do ghoond se aap kisi bandhan mein nahi bandhenge ... Aap bus yeh samajh lijiye ki aapke liye yeh paani ke do ghoond hai aur mere liye aashirwaad please!!

What was she pleading him for?? His inner guilt was burning him up alive. She did not ask as to why he had rejected her!! His sight fell on dadima who stood at the door with hopeful eyes, she indicated him to make geet to drink the water and he did it lifted the kalash of water, placing it at her mouth. He left the room unable to put out his turmoil within, while geet bent down to touch the dust of his foot and placed the hand on her forehead feeling contended as if she had got his arshirwaad!! Both were each other's rooh!! Kaise alag hote dono!!

Well this was supposed to be OS but I had to make it an SS donno how many parts but its for my friend tanvi who has been my very special friend. This is a simple way I have chose to say she will remain special always!! I never ignored you kiddo trust me I swear I know you don't like this way of our personal things going public and I am ready to take all your anger, even though you are just 3 months younger to me your innocence is something I fear about!! Don't lose it ever I love you being a kid trust me on this!! You are myrooh !! Please forgive me if ever I ignored you!! That just cannot happen, my mind is not working right now you said we don't need a sorry in our relationship but I am right now for hurting you!! I donno if you would read this story still this is for you sweetheart!!
