but the ring was gifted by Rahul to Geet and his intentions or u can say love was not true...so the thing gifted by a wrong person can't be right...and if now he wore that ring in Geet's finger than it was Rahul who first make her wear it...why to mark true love with the thing touched by wrong person...Maan can buy ring from market for his fiancee that is not touched by other person...paying money to Rahul is I think not proper...it is better that he gave ring back to Geet and tell her to throw that on Rahul's face...
