Viraf Patel and Harshad Chopra in run for Life OK's next!
BBC Worldwide Productions India and writer turned producer Saba Mumtaz are to jointly produce a love story for Life OK. The story is quite on the lines of Star One's ace love show Geet Hui Sabse Parayi that had the stern Maan (Gurmeet Choudhary) falling madly in love with the vivacious Geet (Drashti Dhami).
Tentatively titled as Ek Bhoond Ishqiya, the show is expected to hit the tube in July 2013 and so far the makers have finalized the female lead in beautiful Chhavi Pandey. However, finalizing the male lead is giving them some tough time. As per sources two of industry's popular men Viraf Phiroz Pateland Harshad Chopra are in the run to bag the lead role. They have given their mock shoots along with Chhavi, and the final call is what all are waiting for now.
Harshad was last seen in Life OK's Saubhagyavati Bhav whereas Viraf, whom one saw in Star Plus' Teri Meri Love Stories, was to step in as the new lead of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon when Barun Sobti had stepped out of the show. However, it could never happen as the show had to be shut shop.
