mera cousin Mr. popatlal.
it was going to be 5 years to the marriage of maaneet and they were going to have a grand function and on the same day it was their younger daughter's birthday and she was going to turn 1 on that day. her name was nisha. and maaneet ahd one son who was to be 4 and his name was mahesh.
they planned a function to be grand. so they planned a very big party. along with a pooja morning.
now there was 3 days more for the grand celebration and the preparation was on full swing.
maan had gone to office and was busy in a meeting..suddenly someone came inside the conference hall "STOP ALL THIS. YEH MEETING NAHI HO SAKTHI. CANCEL." all were shocked with this and maan was fuming
"TUMHARI ITNI HIMMAT KI TUM MERE OFFICE MEIN MUJHE ORDER KARO" said maan. all were scared with the tone and thought that whoever is this the person is done.
"OH MISTER. TUM MERE UPAR AISE NAHI CHILLA NAHI SAKTHE. TUM NAHI JAANTHE KI MEIN KOUN HO?" said the person in same tone whoch angered maan more.
" HOGE TUM KOI BHI. MUJHE KOI LENA DENA NAHI. replied maan.
" AACHA MEIN TUMHE KAL HI EXPOSE AKRUNGA. KINTUM KITNE BADTAMEEZ INSAAN HO AUR KITHE GHAMANDI BHI HO. MEIN THO YAHAN TUMHARA INTERVIEW LENE AAYA THA ABOUT YOUR COMPANY. PAR TUMNE THO MUJHE ITNA WAIT KARWAYA. AUR PHIR BHI TUM NE MUJHE INTERVIEW NAHI DIYA. TUM AAB BOHUT PATOUGE (regret.) ."
"MEIN BHI DEKTHA HUN KI TUM KYA KAROUGE.. MEIN TUMHE INTERVIEW NAHI DUNGA. AND NOW GET OUT. SECURITY.."
"TUMNE MUJHE INTERVIEW KE LIYE MAANA KIYA?? PATRAKAAR POPATLAL KO?? YEH TUMNE AACHA NAHI KIYA. AABHI THO MEIN JAA RAHA HUN. PAR BOHUT JALDI TUM HI MERE PAAS AOUGE."
saying so popatlal went out leaving the environment of the office in tensed mode but maan ease eveyone and said them to get back to work.
2 days passed but there was no any drama created by Mr. Popatlal. now it was the day for the function. for pooja all started to assemble and the pooja was going to start suddenly..
"YEH POOJA CANCEL". shouted popatlal who had just entered.
maan's anger was now in sky. he shouted
"Mr. POPATLAL HOW DARE YOU COME HERE??"
geet tried to calm maan. she went to popat and said
"BHAIYA AAP ITNI LATE KYUN AAYE?"
maan was shocked hearing geet call him bhaiya. he faintly remembered geet telling him about her some cousin who lived in mumbai had would come here for some work and would even attend their function. now he got that her cousin was this irritating Mr. popatlal. he at first felt guilty for making him wait at in the office but then his manners removed all his guilt.
"GEET DIDI AAP ISS INSAAN SE KEH DIJYE KI YEH YAHAN SE JAAYE. YEH BOHUT GHAMANDI HAI AUR ISNE MUJHE MERA KAAM BHI PURA NAHI KARNE DIYA. BOHUT BURA INSAAN HAI YEH."
"BHAIYA YEH AAP KYA BOL RAHE HAI AUR WHO BHI KIS KE BARE MEIN????"
"MUJHE ISS GHAMANDI KE BARE MEIN KUCH NAHI SUNNANA. AAP AABHI ISSE GHAR SE BAAR KARO. PATA NAHI JIJU KAISE KAISE LOGGO KO GHAR PAR BULA LETHE HAI?? WASIE JIJU HAI KAHAN?? MUJHE UNSE MILNA HAI."
"AAPKE JIJU AAPKE SAAMNE KHADE HAI."
"KYA? PAR MERE SAAMNE THO YEH GHAMANDI KHADA HUA HAI' KYA YEH HI JIJU HAI??" popat was raying the answer to be no but all his hopes went in drain as geet shook her head in yes.
"PAR GEET TUM AISE INSAAN SE KAISE SHADI KAR SAKTHI HO?? TUMHE PATA HAI YEH KITNA BADTAMEEZ HAI AUR KITNA GHAMANDI?"
maan was getting angry more and more. he wanted to blast of his misty's so called cousin but refrained himself from blasting seeing her telling him to keep quiet.
" GEET TUMHE PATA HAI MEIN ISSE INTERVIEW LENE KE LIYE MUMBAI SE YAHAN TAK AAYA. PAR ISSNE MUJHE ITNI DER WAIT BHI KARWAYA. MEINE WHO BHI KIYA. PAR PHIR BHI USSNE MUJHE INTERVIEW DENE SE MAANA KAR DIYAAUR OFFICE SE NIKAL DIYA."
"BHAIYA MEIN AAPNE MAAN KO JAANTHI HUN. WHO KABHI AISE NAHI KARENGE. AAPNE ZAROOR UNKI MEETING DISTURB KI HOGI YA PHIR BINA KNOCK KE ANDAAR CHALE JAYE HOGE. AUR AAPKO PATA HAI MUJHE INKE ISSE ROOP SE MOHABBAT HAI. AUR AGAR YEH NA HOTE THO MEIN BHI AAPSE KABHI NAH MIL PAATHI/ INHONE MERI KITNI BAAR JAAN BACHAYI HAI.. MEIN INKI GEET HUN AUR YEH MERE MAAN. AAJ HUMARI SHAADI KO 5 SAAL HO GAYE HAI AUR INHONE MUJHE KABHI KISI CHEEZ KI KAAMI NAHI RAHNE DI. CHAHE WHO PYAAR HO YA AARAAM. AAPKO PATA HAI BHAIYA KI AAPKI GEET NE THO SAPNE DEKHNE HI CHOOD DIYE THE. PAR JAB MAAN MERE ZINDAGI MEIN AAYE THO MERE DIL NE PHIR SAPNE DEKHNE SURU KI."
while saying this geet's eyes were filled with PRIDE and maan's eyes were filled with LOVE. popat too got to know the depth of their love. he was filled with remorse. he asked for forgiveness from maaneet and the function was over successfully..
at night maan praised geet for her love and faith in him and then they enjoyed their night of togetherness. the next day maan gave full interview to popatlal and thus made him happy. the office staff were stunned seeing maan and popat talking so freely.later they came to know the whole scenario .
popat stayed with them for some more days. in that days he and maan became god friends. many times he went to office and none could believe that the 2 persons who fought like enemies in the first meet would become so good friends.
when popat was going maan asked him to come back soon and he see him off along with geet. popat also gave his trademark umbrella's copy also to him to make his remembrance special.
today whenever it rains maaneet use that umbrella. 😉
