PART 9
Another day started with another sun shining in the sky but still the lost glow of geet's face is still no whr to be found .. never the less she is again all set to face this world for another day alone .. smiling she went out of her house as usual buying some chocolate for the children of the orphanage on her way to college .. it's the only day she gets to meet them as other than her week off she has a different route .. Friday is suppose to be a good news day for these childrens as its thr last working day for the week n then it will be 2 days holiday n her visit early morning be4 school seems to add up to thr zeal .. n for geet its just another way she tries to collect some more happiness in her life .. or say another way she tried to fill up the void maan left in her life …but some where even she knows it can't happen no matter who much smile these children could give her the peace his presence gives her can never be felt any where else …
finally reached her college even if it isn't a top notch college of delhi still the studies have a standard so as the professors ..lately they are done with thr mid-terms n now whole college is preparing for the annual inter college competition having so many competition n her group being the most lively n having some really bright students are in the eye of organizing committee .. oppss I forgot to tell u all her group ..
Pari – a sweet bubbly girl not that well in studies but is superb in her art work .. a beautiful deva of her college ..
Prashant – was once the topper of the class n now giving a tough competition to geet ..but yet a good friend ..
Gauri – a really nice n simple girl not that behenji types but still enjoys in limits..
Drishti – the life of this group .. a typical bollywood girl ..lives life of beyond reality n super naughty girl always into some or the other phranks but harmless ones just for fun purpose .. she is that ultra modern girl with a new bf every month .. but pure at heart ..still inher own limits ..
Raghu – drishti's crime partner .. the bad boy of this group although everyone n geet is still unaware of his dark shades but he is behind geet's beauty …but geet don't pay much heeds to him as often thr ideas collides ..
Tanmay – raghu's chamcha knows him the best.. being his childhood friend n supports him in every evil deed n enjoys equally ..a dumb head in real ..
Rahul – a smart guy with brains n looks as well .. studies really well .. but enjoys his life equally ..he has a little bit of idea about raghu's intensions for geet but is not sure so only keeps numb ..not that talkative but is a nyc guy to be friend with ..
They all met in college except for raghu n tanmay ..n are really good friends with each other n geet is also part of this group ..
Entering in the college she bumped with raghu who looked at her lustfully ..she was wearing a red kurti n jeans with her hairs tied up in half pony ..
Geet : sorry raghu who mera dhyan nahi tha .
Raghu (lost in her looks) : no problem babes ..ur are always welcome ..
Geet ws busy setting her books n notes in her bag didn't listened to him n walked ahead seeing them all coming towards her ..
Pari : hi geet ..acha huya tum time par agayi ..chalo we'll leave now class start hone wali hai
Drishti : chorona pari lets to go canteen n have some fun ..
Geet (mocked) : gi gi bilkul drishti madam aap jaye canteen mien fun kareye …hum chale class lene ..chal gauri tub hi chal humare saath …(n all went ahead leaving raghu thr still gazing geet with a lustful eye observing her from back) ..
College was always fun for her ..the phranks of drishti adds fun to the otherwise boring lectures n gauri n prashant are always great help in studies .. rahul is somebody she can talk anything n everything ..gauri well she is really a reserved person talks less but a nice girl ..n pari .. u can ask all the fashion tips n talks from her n every affair of college .. n raghu umm ..she never paid much attention to him ..its just him coming to her off late .. but she considers him just as another friend .. finally the eventful day ended n it was armaan n meera waiting for her outside her college ..
Armaan : finally u came ..seriously intezaar mien jaan lene ka irada tha kya honey bee .. bilkul kadar nahi hain aapko apne chahne waloon ki ..
Geet : leave this for some other time plss amy ..professor ne already buhat pakaya hai aaj ..
Meera : so madam all set ..pehle kya karna hai ghar jana hai ya kuch khana hai …
Geet : um kuch khana hai buhat bhook lagi hai ..
Armaan : cool treat is on me ..
Meera : that's what like the most about u …(n giggled) ..
Armaan : abb who kya hai na 2 itni beautiful ladies meri car mien hu aur treat tum mien se kisi ko deni pari tou mere rules ka kya huga ..
Geet : ya right tumahare rules …chalo abhi I am starving plsss..
Finally they came back home …falling on the bed like a dead body both girls were hell tired even amy was so all decided to have a little break be4 getting to work n here they are after good 2 hours geet decided thr song n steps with the story of a teenage boy proposing his girl actually trying to woo her ..
it was evening when amy decided to leave but meera got a call from jaspal uncel asking her n geet to stay in house as thr is a building near thr apartment which crashed down n thr is a lot of chaos in that area expecting people to get violent ..
geet : amy yrr uncel ka call tha kuch building damage huyi hai yahan ...people are getting hastled ..uncel keh rahe hain its not safe to step out kuch bharosa nahi hai what the situation will be as some idiot politician is involved by media men ...better u stay in for now
amy : but yrr i need to go ...rohan has a party tonight at his place ..
meera : oh just up ..party tou tab karoge jab wahan puhanchoge duffer ...itna traffic jam huga na main roads par due to the media ambulance n vvip movement ke phas hi jaoge ..
geet : she's right ..
amy : for the first time ever ..
n thr came a cushion crashing right on his face ..
amy : ahh ..meera ki bachi u r soo gone ..
n thr started the tom n jerry chase game on thr n geet stood thr laughing ...n than went away to make some coffee for them all ...
amy : meera no way i am going to watch any stupid SRK films of urs got that
meera : shut up amy ...don't u dare call my shahrukh stupid or i ll kill u
amy : what u scared cat ...come n ill show i ll do ..
geet : ok now stop it u two ...we'll go for an action romance ...Force
meer u can enjoy drooling over john n i'll enjoy the
action ..
amy : n i can enjoy watching u ...(geet rolled her eyes at him n went away) .. chalo atleast better than her shahrukh ...
meera : amy ..u
geet sighed seeing them starting all over again n she started setting up the cushions n loading the movie ..
geet : hugaya tum log ka tom n jerry fight ...tou meera madam jaye n po corn lekar aaye ...i ve done hell lot of work for the rest of the day ..
meera (glaring at amy) : fine ..
amy : chalo honey bee lets start this now ...
Finally it was night when all exhausted trio went to sleep but as usual geet woke up in the middle of night restless ...sweating gulping a whole glass of water she stood up n paced a few round by the Bed but couldn't get over the anxiety n decided to watch t.v n distract herself it was amy sleeping on the couch in the living room so she muted the volume n saw the headlines regarding the old age home's building near her apartment being highly damaged causing numerous causalities n some minister blaming the builders of using low quality material as it was a newly finished government project ..sighing she switched off not wanting o disturb amy n went to the window of her room gazing the moon shinning in between the thick clouds ...
She closed her eyes n stood thr feeling the clod breeze touching her skin ..n the flashes of maan's guilt filled eyes that day n his retreating figure came in front of her ...tears gathered in her closed eyes when she felt a hand over her shoulder n snapped opened her eyes saying without looking back ..
Plss don't ... But be4 she cld complete she saw amy standing thr with a sleepy eyes confused ..
Wht happen geet ..r u ok ..??
She sighed n dropped her head down nodding wiping her tears off ...
Armaan knew she isn't the one to give away her inner feelings so easily so didn't asked further n sat down on the couch placed just before the window n made her sit beside him ...
A silence geet couldn't break n armaan didn' t knew what should he say n sat thr trying to guess wht might have caused her so restless but nothing that he could understand ...n thr after a good span of time geet turned n looked at him he was still confused but she gave her best smile making him releaved ..
So wht caused the beautiful girl so sad ..?
Geet smiled ...umm nothing just ...nothing but just people who r no more in my life ..
Armaan twitched his brows in confusion than thought may b she is missing her parents ..
U knw what life is too small to regret ..n waist time thinking of people who never cared ..
Geet continued gazing the moon ..
But y is it that everything seems incomplete without them ...y amy ..??
The confusion the question geet was wanting to get answer of ..her frustration coz of maan's absence effecting her so strongly all seems to now show up clearly in front of amy ...
Sab kuch perfect hai ...I was living for these very days half of my life ..to study in college to acquire a good career n when everything is going perfectly smooth I feel like nothing is worth it ...y ...it was my dream my goal of a life time than y the hell I feel like this even after topping my mid term even after managing my funds ...y ...mano jaise kuch hai hi nahi khush hone ko ..
Amy placed his hand around her stopping her from crying ... While she looked at him expectantly to answer ...
Geet ...plss don't ever let those people rule over ur heart n mind who don't care for u ... Meri life ne aaj tak mujhe bas itna hi seekhaya hai k koi bhi humari life mien humesha k liye nahi aata ek na ek din jana hi hai so acha hi jaldi hi chale jayen ...the sooner they leave they less we get attached n even lesser the hurt is ...humari khushi ..humari hassi sab humare andar hai uss se dunya mien mat dhundo geet ...don't let ur self be dependant on others ...
Geet looked at him keenly ...his every word seems to make sense to her ..sach hi tou hai ...no body stays with u forever ...from the very first day of her life she is experiencing the same ...all her friends one by one left her back in orphanage ...than it was she who left her own orphanage ...even bigger example her own parents left her ...she glanced back at meera who stayed thr in the most darkest night of her life ... Even she will leave once her uncel will be back ...n maan ..!!
He never siad he will stay ..she never wanted him tO stay ..if his absence was distracting her than his presence was even more distracting .. He ws a stranger .. The maan khurana ..who can never be inn her world ..so amy its right if he left now ...the sooner he left the lesser the hurt ...
Wiping of the last traces of tears she smiled at amy ..n he smiled back ..looking at the shining moon ..
N that's when they heard meera mumbling in her sleep ..
Can u both please let me sleep ...
They smiled at her annoyed pouting face sleeping ..n stood up to leave ...geet stood by the bed side n amy just av step away to edit geet stopped him calling his name n he turned back with a smile ..

A new day geet woke up with a determination to get over this MSK fever ...n amy dropped her to cafe ...much to her disturbance everyone was talking about the crashed building n she learned that the building that crashed last evening was KC's project with government involved ...the incharge minister was accusing KC to have used low quality material n involving maan in a court case ...it was getting a big mess in seems like the whole media was against KC ..caring nothing of the old people still mourning at the very sight of thr home ...
The press showed maan stepping out of his car in front of KC geet looked at him in the tv from the counter ...she cld see the tensed line on his face irritated with all the media pouncing on him ...
Geet got worried n continued to stalk on tv through out her morning hours in cafe n made her way to college instead in her worried frame of mind walked to her house n ended up infront of the same old age home where the media was still making footage just for thr trp ...she felt to crush thr cameras but went away to see the oldies weeping over collecting thr memories from the abandoned building ...she felt her eyes getting wet n went ahead saw a old lady crying holding a pic may be a group photo ..she started coughing ... she went to her n offered her her bottle of water ...after getting normal the lady smiled at her with tears thanking her ..geet smiled back n wiped off her tears ...
she was thr when saw a whole crowd of men running towards the sight n saw 4 cars ...the black BMW latest model coming at the sight n HE stepped with every ounce of attitude with him ...the media followed him while he with his staff inspected the whole sight going ahead of the police banners of no entry ...while she stood thr in the corner looking at him ...don't knw when tears gathered in her eyes spilling ovr her cheeks ..n she placed her hand over her wet cheeks surprised y she is crying is it coz she saw him after so many days or coz he is looking so worried ...
she moved ahead along with the media persons watching him with her teary eyes ...she could see the dark lines indicating he didn't slept well now for couple of nights ..she wondered y is he so tensed for ..?? n thr came the minister accusing him while he answered him with a coldness that somewhat scared him ...with the media getting away n he being involved with his staff the hustle bustle around the whole sight lessened n geet went ahead hiding behind the pillar watching him with a longing more than ever she felt ...n than saw him moving ahead helping an old uncel who was trying to enter the precise ...but policemen stopped him ...
maan : whats the matter ...uncel app andar kyun aana chahte hain ...yeh jaga safe nahi hai aapke liye ..plss jaye yahan se ..
geet knew he was concerned 4 the old man ...even if he is thr uncer the same dangerous roofs of the building he didn't went that old man to be thr ...but seeing him the old man burned with anger n snapped his hand away spatting all the venom ..
abb kyun aaye hu yahan ...sab kuch tou barbaad kar diya tum ne ...kuch pasoon ke liye humare apnoon ki jaan le li tum ne ...tumhari waja se aaj yeh saari barbadi huyi hai ...khush nahi rahoge tum...yaad rakhna kabhi khush nahi rahoge tum ..
geet heart felt the pain 2 much seeing that bitter convo ...but maan ...he stood thr blank listening to all this .. her tears didn't stopped but the old man went away as the policemen never allowed him to go in ...while maan went away from all n sighed heavily ...
geet was hiding behind the pillar aching to go to him hold him n tell him he is not at fault ...she knows it he isn't ...he can never be ...he turned back hearing someones sobbing ..
kuan ha wahan ..??
geet hid behind the pillar at first ...but than exhaling a long breath she wiped off her tears n went ahead ..
He was shocked she cld say that but he immediately his face went blank but the pain she was felling refused to get scared of those blank guarded look on his face n she went ahead with her tears still pouring out n thr eyes locked with each other Her eyes had its own tale of longing n pain he just cldn't stop himsel from drowning in thm n he stood thr seeing her coming towards him standing inches away looking at him as if acussing ..for wht he couldn't understand n next found her hugging him stunned n shocked were not the appropriate word 4 wht he felt ..her petite form snuggling in his hard form ..his heart beat went irregular he didn't knew until this moment his heart still had those beats left .. Its been so long since he felt his heart beat that he started believing that he will never feel any such feeling ever but geet ..ever since she came in his life everything seems 2 stir back ..
