Part 37

Maan had having his big mouth opened. He was waiting for her to feed him, had so much enjoyment seeing the arising hand of Geet toward him. His won was leading to an exciting moment and the food was about to reach his lips when .. she stopped

"No..' She spoke

Maan excitement turned into confusion. "Kya!!'' he asked

"Maan according to our contract you could ask only for one reward and that you already have demanded. Now you can't change it!!'' She said concealing her nervousness.

"Achha!!'' he frowned

"haan!!'' she showed stubbornness.

"Geet if you are not forgetting in bet we had decided that I will hold you before Dadima right!!''

She nodded being confused.

"And how many people were presented there Geet?!!''

"Four.. Dadima , aunty uncle and Nakul!!'' She very concentrating counted and then, her eyes became wider.. "But it's cheating!!'' she startled.

"No it not.. and according to this… I have three more chances Mishty'' he smirked..

She shivered. Gulped her saliva down making bigger eyes. She had to agree what Maan said as had no other options now.

"Maan it's not fair!!'' last time she tried saying but diminished when found his big tempered eyes. She nodded.

Finally Geet fed him with her hands. She was having storming goosebumps due to the touch of his lips she was feeling but Maan was enjoying so much. Her hands were trembling, heartbeats were racing and she could not eat herself a bite in restiveness. They finished their dinner. Maan left in his study giving a winning look to her.

Geet was in kitchen finishing last minute of work. Though she enjoyed the time with him yet, having so much starvation in stomach.

"Maine toh kuch khaya bhi nahi!!'' she thought. "abhi kha leti hu''

She settled a plate for herself. "Where to sit now'' She looked around but found no chair or thing to sit on. She decided to sit on kitchen slab. Her face twinkled to do her like of things which never could do in HP.

"If had it Haveli, Brij veerji would have killed me for sure, if see where I'm sitting'' she giggled and started eating. "Aur abhi toh Maan bhi so gaye honge''

She very childishly jumped and sat on slab, started eating.

"What's happening here!!''

Suddenly she heard Maan voice and saw him, standing on door, with crossing arms.

"Maan!!'' In startle plate dropped down from her hands on floor and she jumped down too…

"Ahh!!''

Her toe pressed on floor twisted. She sat down wincing, clutching her leg tight.

"Geet!!!'' Maan runs her shocked. "What's doing!!'' he held her toe started to rub it. She was having so much pain and more, had fear that what if Maan become angry due to all mess been scattered here and there on floor.

"Is it aching Geet?'' He asked

She denied but her face was becoming red due to hurt which she was suppressing.

Maan was having throb in heart seeing her in so much pain but she thought that he was becoming tempered. She whispered "I'm sorry Maan'' in fear

Which, Maan did not hear.

"I'm sorry Geet, I should not have scared you'' he cupped her face wiped her tears "because of me you fell, I'm sorry'' he repeated.

Geet could not believe that again her Babaji made her realize that she had won the most treasured man for whole life. She always had faced the stoned wall in form of men where she always could expect for hurt and wound even if, she rubs her head in worship on his feet but here, this man was feeling the unclosed injury of her. The uncontrolled emotions started appear out in form of tears.

"What happened Geet is it paining more?'' He was being so much concern that did not see her smile.

Geet shook head.

"Then why did you cry?''

"I was scared''

"Dar gayi thi? But why Geet'' he caresses her face

"Maan I thought you will scold me because I dropped everything and was sitting on slab..''

Maan could not understand what the reason for this fear of her. "But why I would shout on you Geet!!. It happened accidently and you got startle because of me!! ''

"Nothing .. '' she smiled thinking not to say about her past as this would hurt him more. When he couldn't see a small hurt on her toe how would he hear what she had been suffering for whole her life till now. She turned the topic..

"I'm hungry!!'' she said

"I know..''

"How!''

"Geet I knew you didn't eat anything in dinner '' He lifted her and made her sit on slab carefully "And I know why!!''

"Why.. tell me!''

"Because you wanted to get your pay back from me right!''

"Mean?' she frowned, and missed to see that Maan was settling a plate.

He came to her and brought a bite near her mouth .. "Because you wanted to eat from my hands as you did.. didn't you?'' He smirked. Geet blushed uncontrollable when ate from his hands. The touch the moment the life felt so gifted to her.. with him..

Dev was very anxious thinking some plan which could make him free from uncle's hold. He gazed in next where madhav was seeming busy in his thought.

"Why Dev is doing all these. Geet is his sister in law and he knows how much Maan loves her. Then what happened that he wants to destroy his own brother life!! If I want could have told Maan everything but then I know, what would be the outcome and that would not be controllable for sure. Now if Dev accept his mistake in front of family, might Maan be forgives him!!! I have seen how Savitri ji had managed everything after her son death and now, I can't see this family again face any crack in relation of two brothers. Hope everything would be alright that at least the old lady would not lose her one grandson again..''

"Uncle!!''

Madhav looked him.

"I am sorry what I have done. I was mad I had become insane in selfishness.. I know Maan bro and Dadi would never forgive me would never trust on me now but I really love Dadima more than anyone in this world uncle. I am not saying that I denied coming with you, did not say will not ask for forgiveness to bro but uncle.. Dadima could not tolerate this''

He looked Madhva with utmost guilt filled face.

Uncle just two days before she has come from hospital and again this… she will die uncle she couldn't suffer more in her condition. Please uncle !!! Don't think that I am escaping but once think for Dadima!!! If you want can call bro and tell him but not like this.. I beg you uncle please!!! If you want I will call bro myself but please don't go home like this!! Please…''

He was speaking as loud that his voice could reach on the speaker of his phone which was on and Brij was hearing everything from other side…
