At last the time was for surgery..Mannat was taken to OT ...Whole family was on cliffhanger ...emotionally...mentally...unable to express themselves...What will be outcome ?..Whether Mannat gonna be alrite ? or all hopes will vanish ...

After 3 hour long surgery at last doctor gave good news..It was a success But they had to keep Mannat in ICU for 24 hours and even no family member could meet her...If it was 100% success Doctors had to wait till Mannat regains her consciousness back...

Even after Dr's advice Geet denied to go back home...She decided to be with Maan n to wait outside ICU...She hardly ate something ...After 15 hours Mannat regained her senses back but Maan Geet were not permitted even to saw Mannat once...They had to wait...

After 24 hours

Dr. Khanna was just coming out of ICU when Maan stopped him." Dr. its 24 hours how much we have to wait ?...and why ur staff is not giving any information regarding progress in my daughter's health'' despirate father questioned

" Mr. Khuraana it was my strict instructions not to tell anyone anything even to you becoz there were so many tests to conduct before giving final report...and here is that " Happy with results in high spirits Dr. Khanna showed the test reports...

"Whats ur verdict now !!...if she is alrite and when we can meet our daughter..?" Geet impatiently asked him...

" Relex Mrs. Khuraana...every thing is under control now and Mannat is really recovering but I wanna tell you some thing clearly..." Dr. Khanna's this disclosure created terrified both...

"What to tell now.. Dr...say it ...don create suspense .." Maan yelled...

"Mr. Kuraana this is true surgery is at success but it doesn't mean that Mannat will be back to her normal life at once...It gonna take time ...Like she need time to recover bit by bit...But it is 100% sure she will recover....isse aise samjhiye jaise kissi ki leg fracture ho fir theek hone k baad bhi time lagta hai properly walk karne k liye...In same manner she will take time to eat by own..to walk..to talk.." At last Dr. Khanna cleared things to both...

" Dr. itna hum bhi samjhte hai...Just tell me if her surgery is completely successful na..." Geet as any mother still wanted assurance from doctor about her daughter...

" Of course Mrs. Khuraana ...don worry ..You can meet her...but be careful don give her much stress.." Dr. Khanna assured her...

"Hum mil sakte hai apni beti se...thanx doctor..." Maan grinned ear to ear in happiness to meat his daughter after hours...

"Yes Mr Khuraana go ahead ...she gonna be shifted from ICU to private room..." Doctor again stamped his words

Maan gave this good news to entire family about the situation in the hospital and in half n hour whole Handas and Khuraans were there...First Maan and Geet entered the room..Where their tiny daughter was laying on bed ..bandage on her head and she was on drip...but conscious...when she found her parents coming close to her she tried to smile and tried to speak...

" So our fighter baby is alrite now..." Maan came close to the bed and kissed her on cheek...She held his hand tightly..

" I am here always with you beta don't worry dekho apki momi bhi hai aapke pass '' He assured his daughter looking toward Geet and she sat on other side of Mannat's bed...

"Mera bacha...not just Papa ..momi is also here...Momi loves you so much..haina baby bolo.." Geet controlled her emotional outburst and kissed Mannat on her other cheek and then Mannat held her hand in same manner she did with Maan...

After watching this both of them again kissed Mannat on her cheeks again...

" Mannya baby you know what doctor said...He said you will be able to walk talk and will eat what ever you want...Will go to school ...be with friends...just few days more to be alrite..." Maan told her in high spirits...

" Mannya...you know baby apse kon kon milne aaya hai...Hamara Rehaan...Nanu ...Nani...Daddi Maa...Dev Chachu...Nandini Massi...everyone...milogay na aap..." When Geet told Mannat she tried to nod her head and smiled ...

Whole family meet Mannat one by one and which brought lots of hopes to recover for little girl...Clearly visible in her eyes ...her smile...and her hand movements...How much her family loves her...

On Dr. Khanna's strict instructions Maan dropped his weapons and he got ready to send Mannat in rehab instead of taking her home ...According to conditions on which Maan approved Dr. Khanna's strategy at least on family member always remained with Mannat in rehab each day n night...

She was recovering in next one month her stitches had been healed and she started to take liquids...almost mashed and half solid food like Soups ...Juice ...Mashed fruits...Her left hand started to work properly and she was able to respond with little words like...Haaa...Naaa...

One day in Rehab

Geet she was in her sixth month and doctor asked her not to travel much but for her daughter she every day traveled from Khuraana Mension to Rehab twice..This evening she brought Rehaan with her ...

"Mannat you know what doctor said ...hum sab I mean you ...me ...Momi Papa and our little baby...(he touched Geet's tummy) hum sabh hamare ghar jaa sakte hai...Tum aab bilkul theek ho ..." he hugged her tightly in her tinny arms...and she also responded him as such...

"Haina momi..." Rehaan seek his mother's approval..

" Yes baby...Papa strictly asked the doctor that from now onward our Mannya not gonna stay here ...She will go to her home...with her Papa Momi ..her brother and with their little baby...right Mannya..." Geet placed her little angle's hand on tummy and Mannat grinned ear to ear with this wonderful news in joy...

Geet left Rehaan with Mannat under supervision on nurse to meet doctor to discuss future plan...

"Mannat now you are alright ...okey don hesitate try to speak...you know Papa every day say to Momi that he is waiting for the day when Mannat will say him Papa...aab bollo na Papa ko Papa..he is very sad...aur jab tum Papa ko Papa bologi wo tabbi happy hongay..." He held Mannat's face in his hands and tired to make her understand and she nodded her head in approval..

" It means you will call Papa...Papa...you are really a good girl and me to trying to be good boy...becoz Nani told me that Me and you gonna be big brother and sister in three months...Momi ki tummy main jo baby hai na...hum uske bro sister hai big ones...We are three Mannat ...Rehaan and out little baby and our Momi is same and our Papa is same...Just like our baby we both were in momi's tummy...Nani told me all this..." What Rehaan was saying it surprised Maan who was listening to this little kids discussing standing at the door..

"Rehaan beta...Mannya will speak...but you know na what doctor said...She will speak slowly slowly...kabhi koi word ...kabhi koi...what ever she likes...and one day she will speak as she was used to be...k...waise Nani ne apko yeh nahi bataya..Mannat Rehaan and our little baby mummy ki tummy main kaise aaye...bollo..." Maan took both kids in his lap and hugged them in his strong hold...kissed them both ...What was surprising today Mannat reciprocated Maan's gesture putting her arm around his neck and placing her head on his chest...

" Manya baby...Papa is urs always yours just like Momi...for you three...Manya Rehaan and our little baby ...and your Papa Momi love you three so so much..." he almost cried out in his emotional out burst...

Little girl slowly turned Maan's face toward with her shivering hand and placed a soft kiss on his cheek...she wanted to say something but words were coming on her lips hardly "aa...aap..."

" Ha beta bolo ...what you wanted to say...bolo Mannat..." Geet who was witnessing everything rushed toward the bed ...where Mannat was in Maan's lap...

" Momi see Mannat is saying something..." Rehaan jumped from Maan's lap ...grabbed Geet's hand ..

Geet grabbed Rehaan in her arms "Ha beta our Mannat gonna be completely alrite in few days...thats' why we r going home..as Papa said..."

On the day of discharge...

Daddi was waiting to welcome Mannat in KM...Handas...Dev...Nandini...with Maan Geet and Rehaan went to rehab to bring Mannat back home...Whole family was trying best so that extra care toward Mannat not became the reason for Rehaan to think get neglected...Maan took him in his arms when they reached Rehab ...

All the formalities had been completed and nurse tried to make Mannat sit on wheel chair but she denied...Whole family was amazed why she was refusing...

" Nurse please leave her she need not this now..." Maan insisted

A part of this is left will complete with epilogue ...have to go out for important work...So sorry have written but editing is left...😲
