Geet bte, did you prepared everything for tomorrow, asked dadima who came to hall where geet was supervising nakul for tomorrow's meal. Ji dadima, I had checked the menu and had invited mom dad as well as meera and other relatives too. ok bte, geet tomorrow we have to get up early to ensure that everything is proper. Geet was in her room setting the sheets when maan came from office. He threw his coat on sofa, while his other hand loosened the tie. Geet gave him a glass of water and helped him loosen his shirt. You freshen up, I will bring your coffee till then. He nodded and went to freshen up.
After a while she came back with his coffee. Maan, kal bhai dooj h so you guys have to stay home till noon. Maan felt the little withdrawal in her voice and knew she is upset. At night too, she was quite low. Maan tried to make her talk but didn't succeeded. He knew something was eating her inside but she just wasn't ready to open up. Finally not having any other way, he seduced her till she was covered in the ecstasy of their love making and was moaning till they lasted in each other.
Next day, khurana mansion was beaming in happiness. Whole mansion was decorated with flowers as all close relatives filled the grand hall. Geet wore a deep maroon green saree which complimented her slim figure while maan dressed himself in a white sherwani with studded green stones, matching hers.
Annie dressed in baby pink suit came down n the hall where her brother was sitting waiting for her. As she came down, both brothers happily hugged her and then all moved to temple room of the mansion. There they did some small traditional pooja and annie did the tilak of maan first and then dev praying god to keep her brothers always safe and give them all the happiness of the world.
In return dev gave her a diamond bracelet while maan said his gift is just on the way. Annie agreed and then fed them sweets. In all these happiness, none noticed the sad pair of eyes that were stuck on the door, waiting for someone whom she knew won't be coming. She couldn't help to look at dev maan annie who were busy in themselves, remembering their childhood and laughing remembering the small pranks they pulled at each other.
She immediately moved away her head, when she felt her eyes burning with tears. She would have cried maybe, but just couldn't spoil the festive mood of others. She tried to portray herself to be busy in looking after others, yet a part of her knew she wouldn't be able to control for more and spill the tears that were stinging her eyes.
And that's when she felt someone pulling her hairs from back, just the way he used to do when he would meet her after days. She immediately turned around to hit him when she felt herself freeze on her place seeing armaan instead of him.
Her eyes immediately looked around for his single glance, but stopped when armaan's words fell on her ears… aaj bhi you are missing him. Why didn't you called him then, har saal to you both would talk so much on the day until your phone turns dead, phir is baar kyu nhi.

She was still busy in calming herself, when she felt a familiar touch on her shoulder. She knew who it was, but how can he be here, she wondered.

She immediately stood up and moved to open the door but stopped when she saw maan standing there, with his hand folded on his chest. Geet looked at his firm face and tried to gauge something from his expression but he didn't gave anything away.

I gave you enough time to solve the issue but tum dono to age hi nhi badte. Geet I was angry with him but we solved that issue. The main reason was you were angry and that's why I had asked him to solve the issue without me interfering. But aise kab tak chalega.

Geet hugged him tightly and started crying like a baby in maan's arm while he kept patting her back to calm her. Seeing her tears flowing uncontrollably, he signaled raj to come who took her from maan and hugged her wiping her tears.

Dekho muharat khatm hone wala h and still you didn't did tika to me (those who wondered why she is doing tika to him, well you guys forgot she treated him like her elder brother). she immediately straightened herself and looked at the clock, which stated only 15 minutes left. She immediately rushed to pooja room while both men followed her with a small smile.
All were excited to see raj after a long time. Even shyna came dressed in a decent suit. geet did tika to raj and asked for her gift. He handed her a scrap book which had some of their childhood pics decorated nicely and a sweet line written below each pic.
She thanked him but was uncomfortable with shyna. She immediately searched for maan who was actually standing beside her signaling her to hug shyna too. she looked at him for long minute to ensure he was really happy and when she was assured that he didn't have any problem, she hugged shyna too who pleaded sorry for her acts too.
Geet finally let go of everything and was happy with the way things turned out. All were waiting for maan's gift which still hadn't arrived. But all got a sweet shock when they saw arjun with his whole family.
Then maan explained ki both families are soon gonna be one as arjun had wished to marry annie after their exams and his parents had agreed too for the alliance. Even the seniors khurana had met too with arjun and had given a positive response for the alliance.
Annie had tears, and thanked maan and geet too knowing she must have convinced him. Maan hugged her tightly happy for his sister.
It was night and maaneet were in their room. Geet was standing in front of mirror trying to remove her earing which was not willing to come out. She again tried but failed. She was still fiddling with her earing when she felt his expert finger touching her ear.
She looked at him through the mirror while he was focusing on her ear. After a little effort, he swiftly pulled that damn earing and kissed the smooth skin behind her ear.
Maan, she moaned, as she felt his hand going to her bare waist below the saree and caressing the bare skin sensually. She let her body fell on his, while he smoothly held her, his mouth busy on her neck.
Maan, thankyou for today, she whispered when she gained her sense.
