So many times, we do google, atlk to our friends and spend years contemplating our own future and career. Then why can't we take out few minutes and guide someone who has nobody to turn to...

thanks a lot di for replying... this track is really very sensitive and crucial too... it indeed happen in our society and in front of eyes but we never so anything for stopping all this... sometimes it doesn't in any girl's hand but her parents can stand by thier side but no, they think of thier respect in society and all... it such a cheap thing...
yup, your way of provide awareness is very good... so many girls will read it and now reading di and may be there is some boys also...
you know what i really admire you and your thoughts... everything about you... i think you are becoming my role model...and that is seriously di...

sometimes i wonder what do men get by forcing themselves on girls , molesting or raping them
a sense of power or few minutes pleasure
for that they ruin a girl's entire life and give them pain for their whole life
and not to talk abt society even families blame the girl ( for no mistake of her )
i really get so so so so so so ( even my million so would be less ) upset for this particular crime
and i have no answers to this question
and i agree that situations may not be under my control but how i respond or react to them it is definitely my choice
and i really appreciate the ppl like dadima and mrs dixit who help such women who have no place to go and give them the reason to live
very emotional and well portrayed by you

Thanks dear, but we need many more like Mrs Dixit and Daadima...and we need recognised govt organisations who are out there to look for vulnerable section of the society...that is one of the key differenc ebetween a devolping and developed country...

You just mentioned the crux Anu...it is not only about punsihment to perperators but the right tools and environemnt to rehabilitate mentally and physically the victims back into the society...

yes this reality , a bitter cruel reality of this society where people care for their so called honor in-spite of their near ones
where people r fighitng for their honor and for it they didn't hesitate to kill their own child.
don't know what to say about meera ,right now m speechless again
what is her fault, what is her unborn child' fault but all r suffering
loved geet is standing besides her as her elder sister
meera and geet both need it, need each other
continue soon

Thanks Rakhi...you have also many a times written about serious issues and yes the main point of this FF is hope and inspiration to give our time and open our mind and heart to empathise with victims and truly help them.
It is easier said then done. I sometimes wonder that tomorrow if my own son gets a girl like meera home, will I be able to accept her? Is my heart that big. Leave my son, what about my brother who is right now at marrigable age. I hope I will have strngth when it is the real time of test. But it is very hard. It is easy when it is someone else. It is very difficult when it is actually someone your own.

Seriously need to be aware of such things happening in our society... Family itself abandoning their own child for no fault of yours is something very cruel...

This updt has made me realise hw fortunate I am for havng a concerned family specially my mom who understands me and takes care of all my needs and worries... Thankyou Dii..!!!

Aswmly put down... Thanks 4 d PM..!!!

Yes dear...always cherish your family. Sometime we take things for granted but ask the one who doesn't have it...

sorry for the late comment... am held up with shifting ... and no net for a week... just few min peeping from hubby's... and thanks for deciding on longer or 2 updates a week... 😃

coming to the update... it was just heart wrenching... completely emotional ... very well written...
Life is not a bed of roses... these are the harsh realities of life... such things do happen and i liked the optimistic approach that you have taken in this... most of the young ppl just take wrong decision after such incidents ... but they are not wrong... they are forced into such situations... and they have to fight against the cruel society at times...

Lovely update... and coming to the analysis of Geet on Maan... i loved it.. it was such an apt one and differs from the GHSP seq,,,,

thanks and continue soon...

Thanks Shruthe for commenting even when u are so busy
You are absolutely right. That is the biggest difference between developing and developed nation. We need so many more voluntary organisatons and government support to rehabilitate and help vulenrable sections of the society...
I wish there was so much more and better organisedwhich could be done as NGOs and ashrams are so less and far apart...

what to say after this... the only thing tht cums to ur mind is.. being a girl is da hardest thing in this world... its like wearing winter clothes in the hottest desert of the world... and sumtimes it is a curse too!!!!

and the line whr meera says..i want a boy... that was just too much painful!!!
after reading this updt..i actually sat numb for a while... this update... a mirror to the society...

Yes dear...in every sense it is hardest thing to be a girl. Just yesterday, my husband was playing with my daughter and he passed a remark "u don't be ordinary...do something extraordinary...be a mountaineer or a scuba diver...enjoy your life."
I didn't say anything to him but a thought did come to my mind - "Is her life really hers? I hope she gets to fulfil all her dreams but the biggest dream of all is to get a life partner who sill support her and not cut her wings."
It is indeed the hardest thing to be a girl...
