It was ninth month of geet's pregnancy maan had been very careful around geet so much that the trauma he began to face, he did not let that surface. Since two months maaneet were staying in the same flat where they had the bitter phase of their relationship. Geet's pain!! Her hurt self began to take a toll on him. Even though geet could forget all of that maan couldn't, and living in the same flat once again had only affected him even more. But maan did not let geet know as to what hell he was facing, every night sleeping beside her on the same bed only haunted him the nights where he crushed the innocence of a girl.

Geet expected that this might make their relationship strong moreover it was a better way for both of them to ignore the media who always made ways in try and finding out their personal life. Maan began to keep himself busy with work, but never failed in keeping himself to be normal infront of geet. Geet was happy indeed very happy that their life has changed so much.

She would go and spend her time in the room which maan had decorated himself for their kid!! She feels so contented seeing the toys, she could imagine her kid playing in the room. But like every other day maan entered the room to find geet busy with the toys lost in her own world of happiness!! She is just 19, what has he done to a girl of such tender age?? She is to become a mother probably in days time. His throat chocked with untold emotions!! In these two months he had learnt about geet's educational background too she had given up her PG and joined a job, that was when he came into her life. Wasn't it enough that she ruined her career enough that he had, a pause!! He didn't want to repeat that to himself what he did with her!! ... he stood at the door admiring geet!! she is back to self!!

Geet turned back to see maan standing there lost in his own thoughts, she didn't see his face properly. The news she came to know was actually making her float into happiness!! She is going to become a chachi, Arjun's wife rati was pregnant. She ran into maan's arms, and clung to him hiding her face in his chest.

Are you upset with something?? Did something happen maan?? she asked, how wouldn't she understand!! Though he was hiding, his heart was receding in her!! She is his heartbeat!! He smiled ironically ...... I am fine jaan just had a tuff time in the office. Tum batao!! You seem to be so happy, what's it?? he asked draping his arms around geet protectively.

Geet kissed his cheek ... Main chachi banne wali hoon she whispered in his ear. That had only made him nostalgic!! The images of aniee came back to him, her screams, her fights against fate!! Nothing was helping him today, every single thing was only pushing him into darkness. Why isn't that he was not happy with the news of geet??

His aniee, his sister probably, the wound seemed to go fresh yet again!! Aniee did come out to an extent with the drugs fiasco but still not fully. This was a fact which geet was unaware of!! Maan was hiding all the pain and was sharing her good news.

Geet was given a due of three days time, maan's mental illness was going to the extremes while geet was joined in the hospital on the advice of doctors. She can have a delivery at anytime, and his absence in those two days did work in a negative way on maan's mind. He had to be joined too for the treatment, dadima didn't know what to do. Geet was asking for her maan and she couldn't reveal out that he was being treated on. She somehow managed geet, but to the luck maan was in the same hospital. And he was recovering too, the mental despression he was facing did subside. He was given the news of geet's due delivery that worked on him. That was probably that had become a sole reason of his recovery.

The next day,

Maan!! she screamed with the labor pains, it was too much to bear. The doctors let all the family members to leave the room. Krathi and karthi were so scared seeing geet yell that way, and finally the loud and shrill voice that escaped accompanied the cry of little angel.

A restless soul was pacing in the corridor hearing his geet screaming out his name, he couldn't go inside but the moment he heard those cries maan couldn't hold back. After few minutes he entered the emergency ward where he saw his misti kissing his angel!! His son!! He stood rooted to his place donno what he felt like the sight seemed to him so divine, so blissful his steps resisted him to move further ... geet had to call him, both of them are proud parents now. Maan wiped the tears that formed. He went and sat beside her, the baby had it's eyes closed looking ever so cute.

That moment was a realization to maan and geet, maan couldn't believe the contentment he had seen on geet's face. She was so happy, she smiled amidst those tears with those eyes glued on the baby ... He is mine maan!! Mera bacha!! I had to wait for nine months to hold him in my hand, sabse ladke at the end I brought my child into the world'.. I still cannot forget the moment I realized my pregnancy ... Darr tha ki koi aayega aur isse maardega ... if I am alive its because of him ... yeh sirf mera hai!!

Maan simply kissed her forehead, he had mistaken her. Geet wanted to be a mother then how could he feel he had burdened her?? How could he feel he had destroyed her?? ... Thank you maan!! She said caressing those tender hands and legs of her son with amazement.

He did not ask his son!! Not for once maan lifted him in his arms!! He hugged geet and went out, damn now his guilt was not allowing him to touch the child. His hands felt so sinful to him!! Everyone were shocked to see his withdrawal.

unko bura toh nahi laga geet?? How could you say like that?? Bacha toh maan ka bhi hai!! kitne dino ke baad he had come out of his guilt and you were acting like fool she told herself.

She was sleeping patting her little son, geet had no idea as to where maan was!! Like babaji heard her she felt something heavy on the bed. She turned her face to look at him, maan buried his face in the crook of her neck ..... I am sorry for walking away like that in the morning geet, trust me I fear that I would hurt my child like I did with you .... Nahi maan, she placed her hand on maan's mouth not allowing him to speak further.

This is the last time I am telling you, iske baad no more guilt trip of yours. Jo aapka hai aap usse hurt nahi kar sakte, our life changed with this baby. I no longer remember what my past was like!! Neither I want you to recollect that past, her lips sealed a little distance and feared yet again. The rest distance disappeared and his lips touched hers, the hesitance turned to love!!

They smiled when baby began to cry feeling hungry, maan kissed his son and gave him to geet for the feed. Late night maan still stared at his son proudly. His lips were like his mother's!! Nose, small one like his mother's!! Eyes like mother's!! A complete replica of geet!! Just another geet!! Maan ran his finger along the small toes of baby, he pecked his son's lips and slept patting him one last time looking at geet's face. Life changed probably for a new phase!! A new life was awaiting them, they were unmarried parents of a kid!! He had responsibilities towards geet and the new born baby. His fatherhood will now give him husband hood, he is going to be the old maan singh khurana!! With a little change a lover too!! Not just a husband!!

Sach hai mohabbat ne bandishein tode!! Naa jaane kab par haan tode!! Ab sirf mohabbat hai!!

this one is abi ka wish so i had to do it but did not leave the impact on maan for long!!
