The air around had become chilling cold when Geet entered Dia's house. Dia was standing near the window with her back faced at Geet. There was dead silence for sometime. Dia was aware of Geet's presence'

"Dia, I--"

"So strange na Geet? Since two years I have been waiting for Maan to say that he loves me & today I heard him say 'I love you' to you!" her voice was rough.

"Listen I--"

"That's your suitcase with which you had come here two months ago!" Dia pointed to her right. Geet was shocked, "Maan aur meri zindagi se chali jao hamesha hamesha ke liye!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I am not going anywhere Dia!!! You know Maan doesn't loves you, then why do you want to be with him & spoil your life!!?"

"Maan had agreed to marry me, right? You have taken away my Maan from me & that to behind my back!!!!!!!!!!!!Pata nahi tumne kya jaadu kar diya Maan par!!!!!!!"

"I love him Dia, maine koi jaadu nahi kiya!!!!!!!"

" You love Maan for his money!!!!"

"Oh puh-lease! Don't act to be so shocked!! The girl who can forge her certificates & get into KC can do anything!" her voice was bitter.

A chill ran down Geet's spine.

"How did'how did you know'!!!?" her voice was choked.

"I had gone to Jalandar & guess whom did I co-incidentally bump into'your sister Preet!!!!!!!!"

Geet was baffled.

"So if you don't want to be jailed, it's better for you to leave from here. Waise bhi, when Maan comes to know about it, he will anyways hate you!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Geet was aghast.

"Why are you standing here now?? I don't think there is anything else to say!!You are a fraud!!!You have used Maan & also made sure that he doesn't suspect anything ! You may even have tried to poison me before my engagement !!!!I had trusted you & you have back stabbed me!!!" Dia rued

Geet was completely broken. She took unsteady steps towards her suitcase'

"Maan is mine & I won't let even your shadow touch him!!!!!"

Geet clutched her suitcase with her shivering hands'

"I admit that my certificates are fake'I also admit that I tried to poison you'because I did not want the engagement to happen'but I did not harm you intentionally...it just happened' but I love Maan & I did not cheat him'."

"A fraud like you can never love anyone!"

Geet had reached the exit door. Dia watched her leaving. Then without turning back she said

"I am going Dia but for once just ask yourself whether you really love Maan'.! "

Dia was stunned hearing that'Geet left'.

Maan was perplexed. He had been trying to call Geet but her phone was coming switched off'.Geet had told him that she would speak to Dia herself'& he had agreed to that as he thought it might not be right to interfere as of now'

But now Maan was getting restless. Even Dia's phone was unreachable' He wanted to know what happened between Geet & Dia'

"Bas buhot ho gaya! Something is definitely wrong! Mujhe pata lagana padhega!"

As he was about to leave, Dadima called out

"Maan bte, aap Geet ko ghar la rahe ho na"

"Of course Dadima!"

"At the same time, Dia shouldn't be left dejected'"

Maan did not answer. He walked out of the Mansion'

Maan was just about to enter the Oberoi Residence when he saw Dia walking out. She saw him. There was a smile on her face. She walked up to him'

"Maan'I'm sorry I couldn't prepare the lunch'Can we go out & have our meal?"

"Where is Geet!!?"

"She will never come back now. She is out of our life forever!"

Maan was shocked, "What did you do with Geet!?"

"I did not do anything. She realized that she had come between us so--"

"Dia, I love her!!!!!! And she did not come between us, there was nothing between us on the first place!!!!"

Dia was shocked.

"I am going to search for Geet!"

He was about to sit in his car when Dia stopped him.

"So you don't care even if she has cheated you! "

Maan was stunned hearing that.

"What do you mean by Geet cheating me????!!!!!!!!!!" his voice was rueful.

"Don't you know that she has forged her certificates to get into KC!! "

Maan was very angry now.

"What rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He was again about to sit in his car but Dia clutched his hand.

"Please try to understand Maan'. She doesn't loves you'. She has used you like Sameera'."

Maan eyes were wide with shock'

"Shut up Dia!!!"

"Maan' if you don't believe me'check her employee records'Geet Handa has fake certificates! And she has also been successful in trapping you in her love'she mush have surely told you some fake story of her life so that you trust her..!"

Maan was numb with shock. Dia hugged him tightly..

"Maan, lets start our life again together... Just forget about her'"

Maan pushed her away

"I don't believe you!!! Before accusing Geet falsely, just ask yourself whether you really love me!"

Maan drove away. Dia was taken aback by Maan's words'.She shivered'.

Maan drove the car speedily to Khurana Constructions... All his moments with Geet played like a movie in his mind..the way they had first met'the animosity between them'& also their moments full of love'Her eyes had genuine love for him'

"Geet can never cheat!!!! Kabhi nahi!!!! But then where is she??? Where has she gone??? Kya woh mujhe sach much chodkar chali gayi!!!! Who aise nahi kar sakti!!!nahi kar sakti'!"

"Sasha!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Maan's voice echoed loud as he entered KC, petrifying all the employees!

"Y-Y-Yes S-Sir.. "

Sasha hurriedly followed him on the way to his cabin.

"Geet ki jitni bhi records hai , bring all the files, quick!!!!!!!!!!"

She did not dare to question Maan.

"O-O-Okay Sir!"

Maan was in his cabin when Sasha brought the required files. They began to check everything.

"Sir, if Geet's certificates are false, toh aapko toh buhot pehle hi pata chal jata na but you did not come to know'."

"Exactly. That's because the certificates are not at all forged! " Maan's voice was sharp'

"Right Sir. These are true certificates!"

Maan glared at Geet's photo in the file.

"Sir!"

Pinky came in.

"Sir, Preet ka pata chal gaya hai!"

"Good! Where is she?"

"Sir, she lives in Jalandar as of now she is in Delhi itself. Her phone is traced in Karol Bagh."

Maan sat in his car & was on his way to Karol Bagh.

"Dia was right'"

It was almost evening. The rays of the sun were beginning to diminish. A cool breeze wandered around creating ripples over the surface of the river-water. The atmosphere was calm & serene'

"It's all because of me right?"

"Maine kaha na Preet, tumhari koi galti nahi hai!" Geet threw a stone in the river.

They were sitting by the river side. They were meeting after two months but a lot had changed during that time.

"Pata hai, I never thought I will ever fall in love with anyone & moreover I couldn't even imagine anyone could love me back par aisa hua Maan loved me'& now everything is just over!"

"And still you are telling me it's not because of me? Geet! Since our childhood you had to suffer because of me & even now you had to part with your love again because of me!"

"Stop blaming yourself!!! Meri kismet hi aisi hai. Picture this : I ran from my house with your certificates! Bumped into a person who later turned out to be my Boss! Started living in a PG & also befriended my landlady! And then later I come to know that my Boss & my landlady are to be engaged! And to top it all I fell in love with my Boss, whom I hated the most!And then I even tried to break his engagement! Whoa!"

Geet exclaimed sarcastically.

There was silence.

Geet got up & clutched her suitcase.

"Where are you going?"

"Wahan jahan par the police is not able to trace me! And I must leave right now!"

"Geet we--"

"By the way how is our step-dad?"

"He is dead." Preet answered expressionless.

There was silence. Geet walked away without replying'

Preet stood there alone.

"I will tell Maan the real truth'the truth which even you don't know Geet'" her voice hardened

She turned around & was shocked to see Maan standing. He stood there with his arms floded glaring at her'..
