I don't know why but I instantly felt that the speaker was a girl. And somehow, that made the idea of the other person even more endearing. The bike and the easy shrug touched my heart. There's always that one, isn't there?

I didn't feel bad for the speaker, strangely. I felt an honesty in their words and their affection, which makes me feel sure that they will get their happy ending some day.

This was beautiful.

You know honestly I was trying to reply to this comment but I am always erasing what I want to say.😆 Maybe because you've hit the nail on the head.
If the feelings are truthful and if you are blessed, then there always comes a chance knocking on your door. So let's hope these characters would get their happy ending too.
