"Maa mujhe na ek naye kapde chahiyein…. Haan waise hi jaise raj darbar mein pehante hai…!!!"
Nandini gleamed with excitement.
"Mujhe bhi chahiyein… Jiss par rang birangi kalakari aur zardozi kaam kiya hon…"
Preeto squeaked cutting Nandini in between.
"Pehle meri baat suniyein aap Maa… Mujhe kapdon ke saath naye dupatte bhi chahiyein… Aur haan jhoothe bhi chahiyein…"
"Maa mujhe na dupatta aur kapde dono resham ke chahiyein…."
Preeto pleaded bending on her knees next to Chhoti Maa's chair.
"Haan… Haan… Joh tum dono ke dil ko bhaayega woh laa dungi…. Pehle yeh shor-sharaaba toh band karo…. (She tried calming the shopping frenzy between the twins) Yeh Geet kaha reh gayyi…??? Aisen toh humein der ho jaayegi… Uff yeh ladki…!!! Ramlal jaa ke dekho meri sauteli beti ko kiss baat ki deri ho rahi hai…??? Jaldi karne ko bolo…!!!"
Ramlal listening to Chhoti Maa ran to the kitchen to call Geet asap.
On the other hand Geet was washing the saucers. After she washed she kept the saucer on the table where Romeo would wipe it dry. Then Pinku n Pinky securely placed it in the dish-rack.
"Lag-bhag saare bartan dhul gayye hai…"
Geet spoke wiping her hands to the hand towel.
"Haan… Mujhe toh bahot maza aata tha jab main bazzar ghoomne jaati thi…"
Pinky spoke excitedly folding her hands.
"Haan jaanta hoon… Tum toh wahin padi rehti thi… Kaash meri Maa kuch saal pehle bazaar nahi jaati toh aaj tum mere gale nahi padi hoti…!!!"
Pinku spoke with utmost depression.
"Kya matlab hai tumhara…??"
Pinky spoke gritting her teeth. Unknown to them that they were now the new target of the Haveli's cat. Taking the golden chance of them in an argument she leapt between them. Pinky n Pinku's heart stopped beating looking at her paws from which the nails were ready to sprawl out. They ran catching hold of their bushy tails and hid behind a barrel of water. Geet looked at the scene n became furious.
"Billo…. Kal mera khaana hazam nahi hua…. Aaj mere doston ke picche padi hai..??? Aaj main tujhe nahi chodungi…!!!"
Geet ran behind her with a rod. Billo had no other solution then to run away. Ramlal entered the kitchen to see Geet standing all crossed with a rod in her hand.
"Beta… Chalna nahi hai kya…??? Memsaab bahar raah dekh rahi hai…!!!"
"Ohh Kaka… Main abhi aayi kapde badal ke…!!!"
She assured him moving to her room.
"Beta… Memsaab ka gussa jaanti hon na…??? Tum toh inn kapdo mein bhi acchi dikh rahi raho…!!! Chalo ab…"
"Kaka… Aap bhi naa…!!! Taarif karna toh koi aapse sikhe…."
Geet replied smiling n pulled him with her outside near the carriage.
"Maaf karna Chhoti Maa… Thodi der ho gayyi woh rasoi mein.."
Chhoti Maa didn't let her complete and spoke rudely.
"Ohh Geet… Safaai baad mein dena… Jaldi gaadi mein behto…"
"Maa… Itne gande kapdon ke saath hum nahi behtenge usske saath…"
"Preeto.. Mere paas dusre kapde pehne ke liyein waqt nahi tha…"
Geet pleaded to them.
"Accha hoga tum hamare saath na hi aao…"
Spoke Chhoti Maa giving in her final verdict.
"Maa isse yahaan chhod diya toh hamare saaman kaun uthaayega..???"
Nandini n Preeto spoke shockingly worried.
"Yeh baat bi solah aane sahi hai… Geet jyaada behes mat karo aura age jaakar Ramlal ke saath behto…" (Behes kaun kar raha tha yeh toh dikh hi raha tha…😆 Kamini…😡)
Geet helplessly and obediently got down from the behind and moved infront next to Ramlal's sit.

Kunwar Manavendra dressed in his friend Aditya's clothes just managed to reach the town and entered the market area. His signature style holding the sugar stick n having bites from it continuously walking among the people. He saw many young ladies gossiping about him.
"Babaji…Bahar ki duniya kitni mazedaar hai na…😆" He thought.
Geet and team Kamini had reached the market and started their shopping. They gave her their shopping packets stacking them one above the other. They didn't let her enter the shops. Made her stand in the hot sun for quite long. Geet looked at the suits and colourful cloth material displayed outside the shop. She remembered how her father always brought her clothes of her choice. Today though everything belongs to her but she has no right to make it hers. This didn't let her get depressed. Her positivity always made her a happy person.
"Koi gal na Geet…. Paapaji tujhe aate samayi behat saare suit aur tohfe laayenge… Sabr Geet…"
She was tired standing, holding the packets and so unknowingly moved towards the florist close by. Flowers always made her day, relaxing her, shoving away her last bits of tiredness.
"Beta kuch phool logi….???" Asked the elderly shopkeeper.
"Nahi Shukriya… Mere paas paise nahi hai innhe lene ke liyein…"
She replied cutely with a pout and then saw some flowers thrown away from the shop. They were fresh.
"Kaka… Woh phool kyon phek diyein..???"
"Beta.. Woh kal ke phool hai… Logon ko taaze phool chahiyein issiliyein phek diyein… Tum chahe toh le sakti hon… Muft mein le jaana…"
She brimmed with happiness thanking him and bend to collect them. But some just pushed her from behind and she collapse on the ground her packets fell in hap-hazard manner and the flowers too got crushed bcz of her weight.
"Mujhe maaf kar dijiyein… Maine tumhein dekha nahi…"
Apologised a manly voice which was very familiar thought Geet who trying to help herself.
"Maaf karna… Ruko main tumhari madat karta hoon.."
Saying that he moved towards her. Geet turned abruptly to see the familiar stranger when both got the shock of the moment.
"Phirse Tum…!!!!" Asked Kunwar Manavendra.
"Tum wahin hon na… Jisse maine kal dhakka diya tha…"
"Haan… Main wahin hoon.. Tumhein yaad hain…
Maan usski aankhon mein mat dekh.. Dekho nasha chadne lagega..!!! Pehle hi keh deta hoon…"
"Issko main kaise bhool sakti hoon… Kal toh thik lag raha tha… Dikhne mein sona hai… Par aaj badtameezi ki hadd paar kar di… Mujhse badla lene ke liyein phirse mujhe dhakka de diya… Awaara Dusht kahin ka…!!!"
She came out of her thoughts bcz of his laugh.
"Ittefaaq haina… Hum phirse mill gayye…!!!"
"Geet isse baat mat kar… Jaldi jaa yahaan se…"
She glared at him and collected her packets which were difficult to hold and balance for now.
"Ohh.. Ladki Ruko… Suno toh…!!!"
He called her while she was busy balancing those packets. He ran towards her.
"Kya main tumhari thodi madat kar doon…???"
She spoke a little meanly holding the packets stacked one above the other.
"Maine kaha na… Isski koi zaroorat nahi hai… Main kar lungi… Shukriya..!!!"
"Tumhein zara bhi andaaza hai hum dobara kyon mil rahe hai…??? Taaki hum ek dusre ko acche se jaan sake…!!!"
He spoke from behind before she could move away.
"Nahi jaanna hai mujhe tumhein…. Main ajnabi, awaara logon se baat nahi karti…!!!"
She answered him rudely without turning behind.
"Oyye.. Ruko.. Aage dekho…"
Geet didn't knw that she was walking into a pole as the packets were blinding her. She hit herself hard onto the pole and again collapsed on the ground. She hurt her forhead in this manner.
"Babaji… Ohhh… Mera sar.."
She whimpered catching hold of her head.
"Ab toh mujhe tumhaari madat karne don…???"
He asked her politely. Geet had no other option rather than accepting his help.
