Geet was in her room with her only friend left dolly who was sleeping in geet's arms..she was caressing her hairs talking with a remorseful face..her eyes were darted towards the window and the longing in her eyes was very much prominent… she looked at her room surprisingly she didn't knew but today this room was killing her within..may be this was the place where her small dreams were butchered ruthlessly ..she looked at the wide fields that lay in the horizon of dark sky that was waiting to be pouring out…

Geet looked at her doll and started talking to her unknown to her that her hubby was listening to her innocent talks..

Geet : dolly why cant I go to the lake side.. I want to go there.. tum toh jaanti ho na..hum aur chahat ktna khelte the wahan phir.. she was married..and geet was left alone.. I miss her dolly.. geet ko wahan jaana hai..

She was crying when she heard a voice…

Maan who had came to meet her listened to her talks and couldn't help to give her his review…

Maan: toh jaayo na.. why are you sitting here..

Geet immediately got up and came towards him..she was very very sad with the ultimatum of her mother that she couldn't go ..but maan's words made her alive again…

Geet : sach me jaaye.. par ma ne toh mana kiya hai.. she said that now I am married and I shouldn't be going anywhere ..

Maan knew this so he kept his cool and looked at geet with his piercing eyes which were looking into her expectant hazels…

Maan : acha tell me what will you do there.. does any one of your friend will come to meet you…

Geet quickly nodded in a NO..

Maan : kyun nahi aayenge don't they want to meet you…

Geet : nahi mil sakti wo.. she is no more.. she died last septemeber..

Her words were so innocent and his eyes popped out listening to her words her best friend is no more and she wants to go to their hide out place…

Maan : I am sorry… I didn't knew.. par kaise…

Geet : wo uski shaadi ke six months ke baad … maan stopped her he was feeling disgusted that another girl was just like geet … If he was helpless infront of the family than there are still many families which believes in those orthodox values and culture…

Maan took her hand and made her sit on the bed..

Maan: don't worry hum kal jayenge..

Her eyes glittered with those unwished dreams that he had promised to accomplish..

Geet : sachi me mujhe leke jayenge..

Maan smile she was so cute and innocent her dimpled cheeks were red..

Maan: haan.. but on one condition first you need to tell me something…

Geet nodded and he asked her something that till now she was dreading… she was sweating but maan made her calm he made her sit in front of him and finally he asked the things that he was thinking from the day he saw her face on SR…

Maan : what were you doing alone that day geet..

Geet was fumbling with words she nodded in a NO but he was determined to knew that what she was doing there ..

FLASHBACK..

Three days before MAANEET's wedding..

Maan had came from Bangalore that very day and he saw that mansion was getting decorated ..it was not usual decoration that he saw while some of the business parties or some kind of celebration were held but this was seeming different …

Maan : looks like someone is getting married.. well he had gone to Bangalore since he wanted to spent his holidays with his brothers and from the next day he was going to have his regular school so maan had to return.. he had an amazing time with his brother and now MSK was back..

Maan saw his mother who was also having a shock on her face seeing him she knew that he was going to return today but this early .. she smiled and he hug his mother.. this was maan he was his mumma's boy and he saw her in some kind of haste ..

Maan : mom what are you doing kitne dino baad aaya hun and you are not even giving some attention to me.. after all I too need some kind of attention from my mother,come ma I will show you what me and bhai did.. he had so much fun … he said so many things for you..

Mamta saw her little baby ..yes for her maan was always her priority .. he was more attached to her than her elder son..though maan and vikant were having seven years difference still she was having her all attention towards maan..since a small incident in the past made maan her mumma's boy ..

Mamta : first get freshen up na .. your dadi dadaji wants to talk to you…

Maan nodded and just like a obedient son went to his room forgetting that he had to ask his mother that what was going on in the house…

It was late afternoon everyone was in the living room maan was lying keeping his head on his mother's lap.. when some words from his elders mouth made him to jerk upright and sit straight…

Maan : you are kidding na daadi… sach boliye kisliye ye sab ho raha hai…

Daadi came towards maan she tried to put her hand on his head but maan shrugged it off… he went two steps back…

Daadi : maan is this the way to talk to your elders..did I teach you this… where are your morals and values.. don't forget that you are still a child..

Maan smiled sarcastically and looked at his father who was standing silently he was not saying anything… and daadaji who was also supporting daadi…

Maan: ya right daadi I am still a child and you are saying me to get married… this is not right .. how can I get married now daadi this is all illegal.. we all can get jailed… why cant you understand…

But no one was listening to him…

Daadi : I don't want to listen to anything now.. we are leaving tomorrow and I want you to get ready …

Maan : no , I wont you all cant take these hasty decisions ..and bhai why cant he be married first .boliye daadi..its his age to get married not mine..

Daadi : your brother is already married maan …

Words made him froze on the ground..

Maan : I am not marrying anyone… I am not coming with you people .. cancel the wedding I am not going to participate in your illegal dealings… you all are spoiling my time and my life…
