I remember my childhood whenever I read this fic. Those good old days when you have to write summary of English novels where the authors are so crisp to the point of sounding laconic and you need to analyze what they say and what they mean. And everytime you read it, you would find a new meaning, a new angle. 😆

Not a clean slate, as she had hoped, but a clean room with old ghosts.

Everything has some past attached to them, doesn't it? Just that we fail to notice many times. Like the old tree we find in our school and write our names on it thinking it is our personal favorite. It might be our favorite spot, but it might not be only ours. But the past it would carry with it adds the charm. Doesn't it?

This is not a chidiya ghar, after all

This had me laugh so badly, and do not ask me the reason. Samajhdaar ko ishaara kaafi hain is all I would say however.😆

it is not a house, but a home. And we expect our guests to treat it as such. Not their home, either

These lines had me think, and i kind of agree with him at that. Things and people who are ours, we tend to take them for granted. Like we do with our home and with our parents, it's not that we don't have enough respect or love for them but because we know that they are ours and hence we don't tend to give special attention to them...

Her life was stale.

Those were my thoughts. Exactly. My life is stale.😆

She would be gone and back before the storm. Nobody would ever know.

I came to like this thing about her you know, "Sab ki suno apni karo" Reminds me of myself😆

Kudos zarin for choosing such perfect words to portray Geet's dissatisfaction with her current life...👏

How do you always come up with such magical words,yaar..

Her decision of going out in the storm despite the warning,clearly showed the adventure and novelty she needed to overcome the "staleness" in her life..😊

Does not this line symbolize her "Dajeeling trip" some where???Don't know why but I felt so..Like she came to Darjeeling without telling "him" and she knew something big would happen {may be end of their relation}when she would return to Mumbai..anyways ignore my ramblings...😛

This "Kaka ji" is really intriguing...He seems good to me but his presence always stirs some doubts and slight fears in my mind..😕
