You know, I think that's the best view of all. It certainly surpasses my own. But in terms of the story itself, you've hit the nail on the head. Geet is not there and that's the problem...

A third person's point of view is, at almost all times, a totally different aspect which we don't normally consider looking at. Over here, his thoughts described Geet Handa, the professional. And we can see how much of a difference there is between her professional and personal life. Even if she is a thorough professional and has separate identities for her personal and professional lives, it still feels like she's running away from her personal life. But then, who wouldn't, when it's such a mess!

"It's better to be cautious from the very beginning. The last thing you would want later is an unpleasant surprise." These two lines have such a deep meaning. Even though she said it with reference to the project, the underlying pain in them can be felt!

She is not running away from him but she needs him to know that she's made a choice for herself. Does that mean there have been issues between them regarding what work she should do and what not?

I'll be waiting to read more to unravel these 'Gehraiyan'! 😉

The choice here is more in reference to her choosing herself – choosing to work on herself, to prioritise herself, as opposed to thinking first about Maan, about her relationship or about her personal life, which as you've said is a mess.

She's sure that she's not running away and that shows that she is not trying to hurt him; she's just trying to help (or find, rather) herself.

Those two lines you picked out…you're right, their meaning goes far beyond a business deal. But oh Geet, how do you tell your heart to be cautious? Do we merely fall in love or is there a way to tread slowly into its waters instead?

It was a bit technical on d business front and u know i m not that intellectual.Jst dreamy-dreamy u see.

And Yes I missed Maan but still loved d update as I wait for it eagerly.

It's One of those times when I don't know what to say when am through PC, but my weird mind starts working at random times and I HAD to say something and hence log in through mobile and type a horrendously long mail. End of my Raam katha. Bear with me and my twisted theories now,
There was a line Geet told to him(I'm assuming it's Sharad btw but I'm not really sure as I thought Sharad is referred to as young and this man seems to be married. Anyway that's out of question, whoever he's bless him) So as I was saying Geet told something like 'The last thing I want is unpleasant surprise' or something like that. That line stuck something and after Palin's comment regarding the 'other' company I am pretty curious. You know ages back I read this story where there's a couple who'd tried everything to have a baby but couldn't. Then they're told to go on a tour to piligrimage and they'd have a great time. The wife says to her counsellar that they'd bonded more as a family when they're away from their Monotonous life and that she's ok with it even if she wouldn't conceive now because she grew pretty sure about their relationship now & knew that her husband would support her no matter what. My twisted point is that sometime away from your monotonous life always helps. If Geet wants some time alone for herself, i'm glad. If there's an 'unwanted surprise' I'm gladder. 😆 Ain't I sounding like a hardcore romantic now? ;)
