Dia and namra actually started jumping in the car the moment they saw their angel step in the car. so this was true!!! Their angel was going with them..dadima had told the truth….angel was actually going with them!!!! They kissed geet's cheeks and plonked themselves into her lap. Maan sat in the front seat and put on his sun glasses and Dadima sat beside geet..smiling at dia and namra's excitement. They were so eager to reach km and show her their room and books and toys and everything!!

Maan was not happy. Just because of Dadima..he was doing this. He knew geet was wasting her life with him..and he really didn't want that. but what could he do..when Dadima actually begged him not to say anything in this matter and do as she asked him to. And seeing that glow in dia and namra's eyes..he couldn't refuse! Geet kept looking out of the window throughout the journey. Even in flight..geet sat with dia and namra, away from Maan..she knew she can't expect anything from him and she didn't want anything in return either. She maintained her distance as she knew Maan must be missing Anisha. It was better to leave him alone.

She didn't know when she had slept off…lost in her thoughts. She woke by by the announcement saying that they had reached Delhi. So she was back..after 5 long years….. she was back in Delhi!!! Namra and dia held on to either of her hands…not letting her go. She smiled and held on to their tiny hands. Maan didn't even speak to her..nor to Dadima! He was not in a condition to. Everything was going wrong…every damn thing was wrong!

Geet stepped on Delhi…and millions of memories flashed in her mind…sweet..Salty and bitter!!! She was distracted by dia's voice.

Dia: angel..humale ghal chalogi naa

[angel you will come to our house na..]

Geet nodded smiling.

Namra: aap rahogi na humare shaath?

[you'll stay with us naa]

Geet didn't know what to say..! in fact even she didn't know where was she to stay or what was her future in the next 5 minutes. She is here on her own accord…but suddenly everything seemed very blurry…agreed that she was here for dia and namra and Dadima….and Maan! But…arrghh,..she stopped thinking!!! She was here to take care of everyone..and she will..no matter what!!!

Maan and Dadima went in a car while geet and kid followed them in another. All through the way dia and namra spoke everything about their rooms and toys and nakul kaka…she smiled..so nakul still worked in KM. he must have grown old! She smiled and looked out,…cherishing Delhi's air and atmosphere..! it seemed that nothing had changed in those 5 years…but still she got a very different feeling..like everything was old yet everything was new for her.

Geet (st): 5 saalon mein kuch nahi badla…ya shayad badla hain… ya phir shayad mein hi badal gayi hoon….

[nothing has changed in those 5 years…or did it…or perhaps I have changed…]

As the car entered km..she just kept looking at its grandeur… it was the same old mansion where she had played and grown up..where she had laughed and cried… and of course this is the place where dia and namra were born and brought up! As she was about to step in..Dadima stopped her! geet looked around..only to see the same old house…but something had changed. There was a very different aura emanating from the house and she could feel the difference. Dadima did the arti..since dia and namra refused to let go of geet..dadima had to do their arti also. As she stepped inside, Maan walked out simultaneously, carrying his files. Somewhere it did prick her heart….he didn't even look at her! she sighed and chided herself not to think any more.

Dadima: welcome back beta…aapke bina ye ghar ghar hi nahi lagta tha…we are so happy to see you back…. and we have even called the registrar in the evening.

Geet: what? Registrar??

Dadima looked at geet confused as to what she didn't understand!!!

Dadima: hum chahte hain ki aapki aur Maan ki shaadi jald se jald ho jaye….

[we want you and Maan getting married as soon as possible..]

Geet: but Dadima… itni jaldi…I mean Maan….

Dadima cupped her face, "we knew we are being selfish geet… we know we are taking a very big risk… but we want our family back geet… we want our 'geet' back and we want our Maan back… do you trust us?"

Dadima had tears in her eyes..and geet hugged her tight. She knew it would be tough for Maan..and tough for her too…but she really can't see anyone unhappy!!!

Dadima: know what geet..abhi tho aap aise reh lengi…but hume aapke future ki bahut chinta hain..isiliye hum ye sab kar rahe hain…aur hume karne dijiye geet….please…

[know what geet… you can stay like this but we worry about your future..and that is why we are doing this…and let us do it..please…]

Geet: par Maan….

Dadima: we trust you geet… you will bring our Maan back..with all your love….

Geet looked up at Dadima, surprised!

Dadima: hum jante hain aap aaj bhi Maan ko chahti hain… and..and we are sorry geet…..

[we know you still love Maan… and…and we are sorry geet…]

Dadima folded her hands in front of geet. Geet was speechless for a moment..she held Dadima's hands and shook her head realizing what she was hinting at.

Geet: aapko maafi maangne ki koi zarurat nahi hain Dadima… Maan ki khushi mein hi meri khushi hain…..aur agar aapko lagta hain ki mein kuch kar sakti hoon..then I'll definitely do it!!!

[you don't have to apologize Dadima… My happiness lies in Maan's happiness…and if you think I can do something… then I'll definitely do it…]

She walked ahead to see what the kids were doing but stopped short when she heard Dadima's voice!

"hume Maan ke saath saath aapki bhi khushiyian waapis chahiye geet…. "

[ we want your happiness along with Maan's geet…]

She gave a weak smile…probably a very unsure one. she didn't even know what Maan thought on this or will he ever accept her in his life! It is very difficult to accept your best friend as your soul mate…perhaps the toughest thing to do!

Maan overworked himself just to get rid off that frustration building up inside him. It was around 6 in the evening when he was hell exhausted. He didn't have it in him to work more. Traveling and non stop work was taking a toll on him. He sat in the car as driver drove towards km..lost in his thoughts!

Maan (st): I really don't want this to happen…. Why is Dadima doing this? And geet…. She knows no one can take Anisha's place….kya wo mujhe samajh nahi paayi? I'll have a talk with her once I get back!

He got off the car in front of the mansion and was about to step in when he heard namra shout. He turned towards the garden and saw dia and namra running around laughing and shouting. He wondered why was it so… and then saw geet running behind them…probably playing. For a moment he actually forgot what he wanted to speak to geet…seeing all the three of them lost in their game..looking so happy…..and he had never seen dia or namra play like this after Anisha's demise. They had actually become quieter. He smiled, feeling a bit relaxed and went inside.

He went to his room and freshened up. He called nakul asking him for his coffee. Nakul came empty handed and informed him that Dadima was calling him downstairs for some important matter. He sighed wondering what more to come and went down. He saw Dadima sitting with a middle aged man, looking into some documents and discussing something. The man immediately stood up and greeted Maan. Adi was there too.

Dadima: Maan..inse miliye..he is one of the registrars of Delhi high court, Mr. Singh.

Maan shook hands with him and looked at Dadima.

Maan: Dadima…kuch kaam tha..mujhe bata deti…..

[Dadima..did you have some work? You could have asked me to do it…]

Dadima: ahh..nahi we wanted him here… please sign this Maan…

She extended a set of papers to Maan and his expressions turned into an angry one, reading papers of his and geet's marriage. He shot the registrar a glare and looked at Dadima, throwing away the papers on the table.

Maan: what is this Dadima??

Dadima: aapke aur geet ke marriage papers hain..

[they are your and geet's marriage papers..]

Maan: how…ohh aap aisa soch bhi kaise sakti hain Dadima…. That i..i'll marry geet? You know very well that I am not ready for this.. then why?

Dadima knew very well that Maan would get angry. But she had to act wise!!

Dadima: you had promised us Maan…to let us do everything. Don't go back on your words….

Maan: then what will I do? Aapne ye sab karne se pehle ek baar bhi mere bare mein nahi socha? Meri chodiye..geet ka tho khayal kiya hota… that if she wanted this or not….

[then what will I do? You didn't even think about me for one before doing all this? Forget me…did you even think of geet..that if she wanted this or not….]

Dadima: geet ki fikr aap na karein tho behtar hain… hum hain unka khayal rakhne ke liye,…. And sign kijiye…

[it will be better of you don't worry about geet… we are there to take care of her… and sign it…]

Adi and mr Singh looked at each other..Scared at the dadi-pota argument!!! Just then geet entered with the kids. They stopped seeing everyone quiet and Maan's anger. Geet gestured the kids to move inside..probably some office matters, she thought. As she moved, Dadima called her back!

"geet…come here…right now!"

She had never heard Dadima's voice so stern. She asked dia and namra to stay back in their room and quickly went towards the hall.

"ji Dadima..aapne bulaya…"

[ji Dadima..you called…]

Adi collected the papers and handed it over to geet.

Dadima: sign the papers….

Geet's eyes widened realizing what was happening. She had actually forgotten about that marriage thing..and everything was happening so suddenly. She looked at Maan, who looked really very unhappy with things going on like that.

Dadima spoke louder, "sign the papers geet……"

Adi extended the pen to her. geet took it..but looked at Maan and then at Dadima again!!

Geet: Dadima..don't you think this….

Dadima cut her off, "sign the papers geet….. we know very well what we are doing! its high time that Maan thinks about others rather than himself!!!"

Geet: par Dadima….

"humne kaha na geet….. sign the papers…NOW…"

[we said..sign the papers NOW]

Geet for the first got scared of Dadima's anger..and signed on the places where mr Singh pointed at. Dadima turned towards Maan who was still in shock seeing geet signing the papers.

Dadima: live for your daughters Maan….if not for yourself!!!! Only you will be answerable to your daughters in future!! Do it…for us…for them….

Maan looked away…still not convinced!!!!

"do it Maan… you cannot break your promise to us and you cannot play with dia and namra's lives…and of course yours too!!!"

He knew if he was stubborn..dadima was even more stubborn!! He sighed…he becomes really weak in front of his daughters. They had already lost their mother…he really can't afford to see them hurt more. He gave up after a long battle, signed the papers and walked off. He didn't even wait to listen to the registrar or Adi trying to congratulate him…he just walked off!!!
