Part 23

Adi came in office with the determination, he would tell geet everything before it went late. He knocked geet cabin, wanting to say, he would meet her after office hour. He entered and saw Geet was lost in her thought. "geet'' adi called. She was in deep thought. Adi tried twice more but she dint buzz. He went closer and was to pat her shoulder but stopped hearing

'' I love you maan'' she said...

Adi shocked. Did he hear right. He was not sure. May be it was his imagination. But then why he would imagine this things .. '' is she really saying she loves maan. But.. '' his trance broke with a ring, so was her. Both startled. Geet was shocked to see adi there and adi was seeing , maan name was flashing on phone screen. He turned back and heard,

"adi.. I want to meet you. Where are you ?? '' maan asked

" m here only maan..in office.. I too have to see you maan'' adi said with lil worry .. he was not sure what he heard was right or not but, it might be right any time and he was fearing of this happen. He would talk maan today and would make every thing clear. He rushed to maan cabin, leaving geet behind with frowned face. " why adi had come and without talking he left. And what he was talking to maan ? '' all this was so confusing and she too, wanted to discuss about maan. She would go his home, after office , she decided.

In maan Cabin,

Both were sitting eye to eye position and was thinking, how to start.

"maan .. whatever is doing or happening you would have to stop all this maan. . I always had been made you understand but you never listened me but now.. it went so far. You would have to stop this bet things. Maan ,, pls understand yaar geet is very nave and nice girl. She would be heart broken at those state we could never ever able to bring her back . if you do something wrong with her.. she would be like dead...

"i love her adi '' maan said. He could not hear which adi said. It was so pricking and painful. She could be dead. Never.. she is mine and I would make her alive for ever.. ever beyond seven births my geet would be alive.. and I would make it possible.

"maan..its not joke ok.. dont try to turn this topic. Today you would have to listen me and I would not go until you accept , you will stop this game...''

"adi dint you hear what I said.. I started loving her adi more then anything.. I love her ''

"maan pls.. I know you very well.. you cant love her.. no.no.. you can..you can love her but not as a human but as a thing.. a win.. she is only ..just a game and a goal for you maan.. you love her because you want to win her..you love your game maan ..your win.. ''

"I love her damn it..why dont you understand adi I just love her.. '' maan shouted, seeing no effect on adi. He was fruestrated amking him understand, he loved geet but his friend.. his best frien his bro aws not believeing him, was made him wild.

"adi why dont you listen me ..i love her yaar.. I love geet..more then anything, more then my life. I know its hard to accept. Not only for you adi but for me too. I had never thought I would love any one but it happened. It happened but when and how I even dont know. Perhaps when I had seen her first .. yes , I very well remember when I first saw her. It was night and she was alone. I saw her and could not remove my eyes. Her innocent face took my breath away. After coming back also I could not forget her. I thought it was just my dream but that dream became part of my day and night. I couldn't remove her face from my thought and being failure from my own heart I made her my game.. I played bet on her thinking it would lessen my illusion but it became worse. In term of having her I drown in her like a insane. She became possessor of my every single thought and now I realized that was not my passion only but love. It was love only when I was worrying for her, when she screamed. It was love when I saw her with that rahul and it.. was love only when I heard she was missing.. I felt like my world had finished. It all was love adi.. it was never game..never bet.. it was just,,, I named my love a Bet... ''

Adi was speechless. He was numb. He never had seem maan opening up like this. He always had been in his shell. No one could see across his hard face . Geet is really lucky to have maan, in her life. He unknowingly wished them both, a happiest life ahead and prayed ..

"maan..i am happy for you .. in fact very happy as you found real happiness today. I hope you would keep it forever '' they hugged. It was so special moment for maan. He was happy as he was sure now it was love. And this happiness made him vulnerable.

At evening

All staffs were leaving, leaving two people behind who were lost in their own newly found world. Maan was happy as he knew he loved her. Geet was happy as she had guess, maan loved her. Both had same goal, same emotions yet both had nervousness. Both were fearing, what if other dont love them .. what if other have someone else in their life.. both were afraid of denial of their love and both wanted to confess, to show their love as soon as, before,, it went late...
