Savithri devi, she is a lady who has alone brought up her 3 grand children dev,maan and aniee. Bt she values money very much for her money speaks louder than relations. That's the reason wen her elder grandson dev told her that he loves naintara who hails from a rich family she gave her consent for the marriage and now he is married to naintara, blessed with two twin kids krathi(daughter, elder by just an hr), karthi(son). She now wants maan to marry parineeta her frnds granddaughter. Pari is rich,beautiful and moreover she loves maan from childhood bt he always took her as a frnd she is hell bent on making him fall for her bt maan from his past experiences hates to fall in love. Pari is in london now to complete her MBA and dadima is in a plan to get this girl married to maan. Last bt not the least anwesha khurana younger girl of khuranas who is loved by everyone in the house she is the heart of the family.
PREM'S FAMILY:
Gayatri juneja,she owns the school gayatri vidya mandir in delhi which is very close to her heart as it was the school built by her husband lalit juneja on her name coz she loves children a lot. He died 6years back wen prem was 18 with heart attack that was the time maan and prem's relation became even more strong. He then managed his dad's business very well and slowly the company flourished. He fell in love with heer, his employe irrevocably. Next to prem it is Pooja juneja , younger daughter of gayatri, she is a anesthesiologist(who treats patients addicted to drugs, normally like a physiatrist) in a rehabilation centre in delhi. Her world lingers around her work nothing else that is the reason she is found very less in the house.
Like maan and prem''' pooja and anwesha are best of frnds. Even though she is always busy with work neva forgets talking to aniee all the free time coz aniee is in Mumbai to complete her MBA.

SUMMARY:
This is a story abt a girl geet who is born and brought up in a small village, HP her family is dominated with male chauvanists. She is treated no less than a piece of rag in her house. Her darji and brother brij killed her sister raji wen geet was only 14 as she fell in love and decided to go against their wish, but due to the political influence the family has nobody dared raising their voice against this family. Her father mohinder who has always loved his daughter so much decided to move to gujrat in guilt of not saving his daughter from brij and darji. On the last day of the college geet returns home late as her scooty breaks down bt darji and brij accuse her not listening to her explanation fixes her marriage with rahul, who is the son of business partner of mohinder. The whole family loves rahul so much as he lost his parents at a very tender age. Geet's mother understands that rahul loves sameera and there is a reason for him to marry geet she tries talking to mohinder abt it bt in vain. So rano sends geet to delhi along with her frnds meera and yash secretly. Geet, meera, yash are childhood frnds along with heer. Meera, yash and heer are 21 while geet 18 as meera manages failing all the time she remains in the same class where geet becomes her frnds. Yash, heer move to delhi to work in juneja industries where heer falls in love with prem juneja the md of juneja industries. Heer requests prem to give job to meera so wen meera was leaving to delhi geet's mother sends her along with meera with the help of jugnu, her brother. Geet and meera start living in a flat. Geet manages getting a job as a skul teacher, it was owned by gayatri juneja the mother of prem. Then maan enters the story prem and maan are childhood frnds, prem lost his father wen he was very young since then his bond with maan gets even more strong. Maan has a past which makes him hate the word LOVE. He then meets geet in a park bcoz of CHOTU the most imp character in the story, geet's doggy. And their nok jhonk starts here bt the bond of geet with krathi and karthi the daughter and son of his elder brother dev and naintara make him realise wat geet is. He has a kind of attraction for geet, bt not ready to accept the fact. Dadima wants maan to marry parineeta her frnds grandchild. Money is the only thing that matters to dadima that's the reason for her to want pari as wife of maan. Bt pari understands that maan started to like geet and so she takes the oppurtunity to insult geet at dev and nt anniversary function, while heer asks geet to marry preet her cousin as she too senses that maan has feelings for geet bt he doesn't believe in love. So heer feels maan lusts geet. Prem who is the cupid of maaneet's story decides to unite both of them at any cost managing heer's insecurity for geet. Maan supports geet through thin and thick, slowly geet falls in love with maan while he unaware that he loves her doesn't accept it as has an immense hate for the feeling of love due to the past
MAAN'S PAST:
Maan was 16 wen his father and mother got separated. For his dadima money means everything, so did for maan's father. Maan's father and mother marriage was no less than an business alliance. Dadima forced his dad to separate from his love and marry a rich girl so that cud help their progress in business and he did that coz he was threatened by dadima that if he doesn't do it he will not get his share in the property lekin he had an other family separately annie is their daughter geet. she doesn't know this truth yet!!! bt maan loves her the most in his family. His mom and dad got separated later as his dad left the house slowly his mom to went back to London as if she had no responsibility towards her child!!! Her maan!!! That means his mom doesn't love him, neither did his dad!! Even though dev cud cope up maan cudnt geet he just cudnt moreover maan used to spend much of his time in our house with my mom. There he got the love he has always craved for, he got it from my mom, something which dadima did not like. She neva gave him the love neither did she allowed my mom giving him love as she doubted that we will separate him from her. With time our family ties almost broke bt maan and my relation got strong geet, very strong, wen my father passed away he was with me all the time supporting me at every bad time of mine he then supported me with the turbulent times of my business too by helping me out. After his father passed away maan has brought aniee home. She was too young to know all this. With time she understood that her father has passed away bt her mother want a legal name for her so is the reason maan brought her home. Dadima did not accept her so maan joined her in a hostel in Mumbai, she studies there. Maan is the only person to whom she talks in the family
He loves u like mad geet, he has been craving for love since his childhood and now its all bcoz of the craving for it he started to hate that feeling and now that craving of him is U!!! its only u that can make him a normal man again!! Tum use pyar karti ho use mat chodo geet. Let him take his time to accept his feelings till then u can wait. Use apne apse dur mat karo geet. Knowing maan's past geet accepts him selflessly, maan leaves house for geet and both of them start to stay together
