Maan kept the pic in his back and went back to his work. Later in the evening maan left the office and got his bus back home. as geet stop came she hopped on the bus and maan sat at corner staring at her.

Maan reached his flat and freshen up quickly and came out. every evening geet spends her time in the beach walking alone. Today maan decided he is not gonna miss opportunity…he gonna speak to her today at any cost.

As he reached the beach maan saw geet playing with few kids. He gripped the pic tight in his hands and walked towards her.

"hi" maan said to geet.

Geet looked at him once and turned back to the kids and said to them "u go and play I will join u in few minutes". She turned to him "yes?"

"hi I m maan" maan said.

"so?" geet asked.

"I am sorry" maan said.

"sorry?" geet looked at confused. "sorry for what? Who are u? y r u saying sorry to me?" geet asked.

"I m saying sorry becoz I clicked ur pic without ur permission" maan said.

"what the hell. How dare u click my pic without my permission and look ur guts u came to me am=nd asking for sorry" geet said seriously.

"plz cool down… I dint take ur pic purposefully it was just a mistake" maan lied.

Geet raised her hand and maan instantly covered his face with his arms and bent sideways and shouted "I m a photographer and I m clicking pics on my project on people and suddenly while I was clicking someone else u came in middle and u were clicked"

There is silence for few seconds and maan dint move neither he removed his hands from his face.

"why r u covering ur face?" geet asked.

Maan slowly removed his hands and saw geet standing her 'with her hands down'.

"I thought u r slapping me" maan said genuinely.

"why would I do that?" geet asked.

"becoz I clicked ur pic" maan said.

Geet smiled. Maan was blown by her smile he stared at her lost.

"did u have that pic with u now?" geet asked.

"yes yes" maan said and shown the pic to her.

Geet took the pic from him and looked at it. It was really so beautiful.

"wow I never know I am this beautiful….awesome pic" geet exclaimed.

"hatsoff to ur photography yaar" geet said.

"no its not my photography..it ur beauty" maan said.

"thanks but ur photography was awesome….i m impressed a lot" geet smiled.

"thanks" maan smiled back.

"can I walk with u?" maan asked.

"sure" geet said and both started walking along the beach.

"can I keep this pic with me?" geet asked him.

"ya" maan said.

"why did u think I will slap u? u think that I m crazy?" geet asked.

"no no not like that….actually u never speak to strangers na and I dunno whether u will speak to me or not" maan said.

"why wont I speak with u. u r not a stranger" geet said. Maan looked at her surprised.

"do u know me?" maan asked.

"r u kidding? I know u live in my beside flat…u and ur friend. I many times saw u both." geet said.

Maan was on cloud nine. He never expected her to know him.

"what happen?" geet asked.

"I never know that u know me" maan said.

"that's becoz u never spoke with me and I m not a type of girl to knock ur door and speak with u" geet smiled.

Maan is getting surprise by surprise today. He was never this happy.

"friends?" he instantly forwarded his hand.

She smiled "itni jaldi?"

"sorry" maan said with drawing his hand.

"tu baar baar sorry kyun bol rehe ho? Don't u know the rule?" geet said.

"what rule?" maan asked confused.

"no sorry no thank u between friends" geet said and walked. Maan stood there processing her words. As he got what she said…. He ran towards her "u mean….i mean u accepted….i mean u will be my frined?" maan asked surprised surprising geet.

"u r crazy" geet smiled and walked.

"yes….for u" maan said slowly.

"did u say something?" geet asked.

"no nothing" maan smiled.

"hmm ok" geet said.

Just then maan's phone ran. Its yash on the line. Both looked at phone and maan excused himself and answered.

"kya be tu abhi phone karna hai kya?" maan shouted at yash.

"omg why r u so angry….o I disturbed ur staring session na….'staring geet handa'" yash said.

"more than that" maan said.

"what do u mean?" yash asked.

"nothing I'll tell u later" maan said.

"what ever it is…first come home….i lost all my energy and I forgot to carry the key today morning….plz yaar come home" yash said.

"ok coming in 5 mins" maan said and cut the call. He went back to geet who is waiting for him "sorry its my frnd yash…he came back from office he dint have keys so he is asking me to come" maan said.

"oh….its ok" geet replied.

"sorry I have to leave" maan said. Geet smiled at him. He turned and started to walk away as he took few steps geet called him "maan"

He turned back at her "haan"

She came to him and forwarded her hand "geet….geet handa…will u be my friend?"

Maan was surprised and was so so so happy he held her hand smiling and said "its my pleasure"

Geet smiled back and said "I will come too….. even I m thinking of going home"

"ya…lets walk" maan said.

Both maan and geet walked to their flat speaking to each other and laughing sometimes. As they got off the lift in their floor geet laughed and said "maan u r so funny"

"wo to main hoon" maan laughed along with her. this was not missed by yash who is waiting at the door. As maan and geet walked towards him maan introduced yash to geet.

"geet he is yash my friend" maan said.

"hi yash bhai…..oops sorry can I call u bhai?" geet asked.

Yash smiled and said "yes u can"

"thanks bhai….waise maan u dint introduce me to him" geet smiled at yash and spoke to maan.

"ah sorry….yash this is geet" maan said.

"hi geet sis" yash pretended as if its first time he is seeing geet.

"ur neighbor from last 1 yr…I think u never observed" geet said.

"no no I saw u many times here" yash said.

"ok ok I m just kidding….i m not serious……..ok then bye maan bye bhai….gdn8" geet said and walked to her flat.

Yash gave maan 'how-is-this-possible' look but maan smiled at him.

Maan gave keys to yash and yash went inside while geet opened her door but before entering in see looked back at maan who is staring at her and gave him a smile and went in.
