First of all, I would like to thank you all for your wonderful response to this SS via comments and likes. I love reading your comments and I have replied to every single one.

Part 13

It was the haldi and mehendi day today. Maan and Geet were both covered in haldi, Raj and Priya got them totally covered and got their revenge, as Maan and Geet had done the same to them when it was their haldi ceremony.

It was time for the mehendi ceremony to begin, Maan wore a white kurta with light green embroidery and Geet wore a light green lehenga.

Mehendi was being applied on Geet, she was happy, her happiness can be seen on her face, she was smiling, laughing, blushing.

Mehendi Designer: what is the name of your husband to be?

Geet (thinking): now how am I meant to take his name? [if you may have noticed Geet has not yet addressed Maan as Maan yet].

Geet (fumbling): woh.. ummm

Priya: Maan, his name is Maan.

Geet: thanks

Priya: anything for you darling.

Gayatri, Rajeev and Payal were happy seeing Geet this happy. This is the first time they had seen Geet this happy. They were truly blessed that Maan had entered Geet's life.

It was time for some singing on dancing now.

Priya and Payal performed on "Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali"

Priya performed on "Meri Banno Ki Aayegi Baraat" with Gayatri

Raj and Priya performed on "Mehendi Lage Ke Rakhna"

Maan and Geet were having a Maaahii moment; they were lost in their own world. They were soon going to be united forever.

The mehendi had been applied, Geet had mehendi from her elbows and all around her arm. Maan's name was hidden in it.

Maan and Geet sat together, with people around them.

Raj: come on Maan, find your name. Don't let the guys down.

Priya: Raj just forget it, Maan Jiju will never find it.

Maan looked at Geet who was blushing, he winked at her. Geet was shocked.

Maan: I give up.

Raj: oh man.

Priya: yes, I knew it. Geet show Jiju where his name is hidden.

Geet pointed to his name that was on her hand. Maan saw that his name was hidden very well but he also noticed that it was written inside a heart. He smiled to himself.

Today was the sangeet ceremony, in the evening. It was to be held at the Sharma House. Rajeev, Payal and Gayatri made sure that there was nothing lacking in the arrangements.

The Khurana's had arrived, and they were welcomed grandly, the atmosphere was amazing, full of life.

Maan was searching for Geet, and she was still getting ready with the help of Priya.

Raj: Maan these girls take forever to get ready, especially when it's a special occasion, so gives your eyes some rest and greet the guests properly.

Maan who was not paying any attention the guests that were congratulating him, was embarrassed, he made himself look like a despo eagerly waiting to get a sight of his to be better half.

Geet came down dressed in a beautiful light blue coloured lehenga, with light makeup and simple jewellery, she looked mind blowing.

Maan was lost in her once again, Geet also spotted him and they were having a Maaahiii moment.

They sat together on the decorated stage, watching and enjoying the performances. Geet had the biggest smile on her face, she enjoyed all the performances and Maan was lost in her, he was too busy adoring Geet, that he did not pay attention to the performances.

Everyone performed: Raj, Priya, Rajeev and Payal. Dev, Anwesha, Naintara danced a little. Dadima and Gayatri sang a song. Even Ahana and Simi danced and entertained everyone.

Now it was time for the most special couple to perform. Yes Maan and Geet had put a performance together on the insistence of the family members.

They performed on the song "Jogi Mahi Heer Ranjha".. they matched each other footsteps so well, they were dancing getting lost in the closeness, in each other eyes. The applause at the end broke them out of their trance.

It was finally the day of the wedding. Geet wore the bridal outfit which Maan had selected and Maan wore the sherwani which Geet had designed for him.

He was welcomed very grandly, and had to pay up a huge amount at the gate. The girls did not leave him so easily, Maan agreed to all their conditions quickly because he wanted to meet Geet but Raj being Raj had to stand up for the guys.

Maan was seated on stage, Geet was brought to the stage by Payal and Priya. Maan Geet lost in the moment again, Maaahhhiii.

They exchanged the garlands with jokes here and there. Whilst Maan and Geet sat on teh stage, Raj and Priya performed on the song "Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai".

It was time for the wedding, Maan was waiting at the mandap, and the girls brought Geet and seated her down.

They took the rounds and Maan applied the sindoor and put the mangalsutra around her neck. Geet felt complete. Maan was truly happy. Rajeev and Payal completed the kaanyadaan.

The wedding was no complete, they took the blessings of their elders. Geet hugged Gayatri and cried her heart out, Rajeev and Payal were also crying. Geet clinked onto them tightly.

Everyone got emotional. Geet hugged Simi really tight and they both cried, it was becoming hard to control Geet, she had received so much love and affection from this family in four years that it felt like she had known them her whole life.

Rajeev with great difficultly brought Geet to the car and made her sit, she was still crying. Rajeev and Maan hugged.

Maan sat in the car and placed his hand on Geet's. She was still crying but she knew, she's leaving one family behind but she knew that there is another family waiting for her.

The car started, Rajeev was pushing the car from the back. Geet turned around to see her beloved family once again, they all were still crying and so was Geet.

In the car, Geet had stopped crying but she was still sniffing a little.

Maan: Geet you okay?

Geet: ji

Maan: you sure, I mean the way you have been crying, I feel so bad for taking you away from your family..

Geet smiled at him whilst still having some tears in her eyes.

Geet: aap bhi na, this is a custom, every girl has to go through this. Yes I am upset that I have left my family behind but I am happy that I am getting another family.

Geet: a Dadima, who will give me the love as a grandmother and mother like Gayatri Maa. Dev and Anwesha who are like a younger brother and sister. Naintara is like a friend and Ahana who is just like Simi. And.. and..

Maan: and..

Geet: and you, who will always be beside me forever.

Maan: always.

He said with a smile, Geet blushed. They held hand for the rest of the journey till they reached home.

Dadima welcomed Geet grandly into her new house, they completed all the rituals. They also played some games, Maan let Geet win on purpose.

After a long tiring day, they all went to their respective rooms. Geet was standing by the window in her room. Maan came in and stood next to her.

Maan: what are you looking at Geet?

Geet: the moon, it's looking really beautiful today.

Maan (looking at Geet): yes, really beautiful.

Geet faced him.

Geet: you're not even looking at the moon, it's up there not here.

Maan: you look at that moon and I am looking at mine.

Geet blushed, Maan smiled.

Maan: Geet you must be tired, go changed and get some rest.

He walked towards the bed and took a pillow.

Geet: where are you taking the pillow?

Maan: who umm I'll sleep on the couch, you may feel uncomfortable..

He was walking towards the couch.

Geet: woh umm Ma.. suniye..

Maan stopped ad turned.

Geet: woh the bed is big enough for both of us to sleep on, you don't need to sleep on the couch.

Maan: but..

Geet: and above all that, I trust you and have no objection sleeping beside you.

Maan was speechless; he just loved this thing about Geet. He nodded and walked towards the bed and started to place pillows in the middle.

Geet: now what are you doing?

Maan: umm woh..

Geet: maine aapse kaha na, I trust you.. you don't have to do all this.

Maan: umm sorry

He placed the pillows back and they both lay down next to each other, sleep eventually took over them.

The next morning, Geet woke first and saw Maan sleeping, he looked so cute, and she smiled. She went to the bathroom and had her shower and got ready.

Just then Maan woke up, he saw Geet getting ready.

Maan: good morning.

Geet: good morning.

Maan went into the bathroom and came out 20minutes later with jeans and a towel around his neck. He looked hot. Geet was had just finished blow drying her hair.

They were both once again lost in each other, Maahiii.

Just then they heard a knock, they broke out of their eye lock.

Anwesha: Maan Bhai, Geet Bhabhi.. good morning

MG: morning.

Anwesha: Geet Bhabhi, Dadima has called you to the kitchen to make something sweet.

Geet: haan, just give me 2 minutes.

Anwesha: okay

Anwesha left. Geet was struggling with the magalsutra hook. Maan saw this and walked towards her.

Maan: shall I help?

Geet nodded. Maan put the mangalsutra around her and was just about to move away.

Geet: suniye..woh

Maan was lost in the moment, he loved it when Geet said 'suniye'. Geet put forward her hand with the little sindoor tub. Maan smiled and applied the sindoor, Geet smiled back at him.

At the breakfast table, everybody loved the sweet dish prepared by Geet.

Dadima: Geet here is your gift.

Geet: Dadima, you already gave me so much..

Dadima: Geet beta no more talking.

She handed Geet the envelop. Geet opened up and saw 2 tickets.

Dadima: your honeymoon tickets.

Geet was a little hesitant. She looked at Maan who seemed to understand her dilemma.

Maan: Dadi..

Geet: Dadima, if you don't mind then can we please go on honeymoon later, woh actually Naintara's delivery date is soon, and I want to be with her till then.

Dadima: if that is the case, then of course you can.

Back in Maan and Geet's room:

Geet: suniye.. you are not angry with me, for cancelling the honeymoon plan..

Maan: no Geet, not at all, in fact I was gonna say the same thing.

Geet: really.

Maan: yeah I kinda knew that you wanted to be with Naintara through her last initial days, till her delivery so I was gonna talk to you about it bit before we could talk Dadima handed you the tickets.

Geet: it's okay, that's one thing I like about the both of us.

Maan: what

Geet: that we understand each other's thought without expressing it to one another.

They both smiled at each other.
