It was a bright monday morning , birds chirping , bright sun rays falling on the mother earth creating a beautiful serene environment . everyone looking forward for a day , doing their daily chores , students getting ready for their school , mothers looking after their children need and daily routine but amongst them there is a young pretty young woman sitting beside a man nearly fifty……… even fifty….in his mid forty feeding him with her hands and constantly wiping his mouth…….and smiling seeing him….. she was nursing him as a mother looking after him as a mother……. After making him feed the breakfast that was liquid for him and giving him medicines she neatly tucked him on the bed…… it was her daily routine…..she usually gets up at four in the morning …and do her daily chores from cleaning her house to preparing for work , preparing the breakfast and meal for her father……. A mere twenty one year girl having the unwanted burdens on her shoulders but

"DOES A FATHER CAN BE ANY KIND OF OBLIGATION FOR A DAUGHTER…….????????????

Well no the answer is no….. when our parents can bring us in this world …nourish us with their love….. when they can look after us without feeling any onus than why can us……this is the big question that not every daughter or son will answer but she….she did……for her her father is a blessing in her life…..her day starts from seeing him and ends seeing him off to sleep……

Geet ….geet handa a girl belonging to a middle class family living in a small bedroom flat with her paralytic father….. he has been in this condition from last two years ……. Having each part of his left side numb…. Can feel that side….didn't speak totally dependent on her for every single need …… she is having only her father in the name of the family……. Her mother left her when she was two….. she died of cancer that was detected on last stage so nothing could be done to extend her life……geet is having a faint memory of her mother and she couldn't even relate to her mother…..but for her ……her entire world is her father….. he fulfilled her each and every wish ….even if it was to sacrifice his wishes …for him his daughter was his priority……… whether it was to get her admitted in best school..he could afford or to make her ready for the school…… whether to prepare her favourite meal …..or to listen to her scolding when he did something wrong……… that was he………. The reason for her existence …..her father …that she wishes to get in her every life……and looking after him is not any curse …..it is a blessing…..her Babaji's blessing but for one reason she is upset from her god……. She still hadn't talked to her babaji from last two years……..

TWO YEARS BACK

Geet was in second year …… she always knew that her baba wants her to be an engineer…..so when she graduated high school with flying colours she was very excited to announce her result to her father and when she did he was also happy for his only daughter …… geet always knew about her father 's dream so she herself has done preparation and even given an exam whose result is yet to be announced ……..she didn't knew that her baba has been doing planning for her further education and was arranging for the amount needed for the same….

It was Saturday in the evening when the result of that paper was announced geet was sitting infront of her computer looking at the result but got little disappointed not seeing her name…..but as always her father MOHINDAR HANDA was sitting beside her ……..and giving her moral support…….

Mohindar: geet …..why are you loosing your confidence ….meri beti ne itni jaldi haar maan li….. there will be many other oppurtunities …….. baby prepare yourself for other entrances ……. Look I have brought the forms for these colleges…..he showed her the forms……..

Geet looked at her father she was little disappointed looking at the result….. as she knew that studing in that college is her father's dream inspite of high fee structure…….her father is more than willing to do anything for her…..and she knew that she too wanted to fulfill his dream……

She was having a thin layers of tears stinging in her beautiful hazels….. and looked at the college prospectus along with forms……..when suddenly there was a new message on the college website…… it was a notice along with the link and the authorities asked to open it……..

Geet opened it ….and what she saw left her speechless…….

Her name was written along with her father's ………

Geet was in a trance and immediately hugged her father…………

Geet: baba….baba!!!!! I did it…see…..my name s written over there…….

Geet's father saw his daughter's name in block letters ….written ….that…

GEET HANDA D/O MR. MOHINDAR HANDA IS AWARDED WITH THE FULL SCHOLARSHIP FOR A YEAR IN THE CIVIL ENGINEERING……………..

She and her father read whole announcement geet was given schorship in enginnering best college…… but HOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that was the question coz according to him he didn't gave her any money for the forms …neither she asked and nor he brought….. but right now he was happy for her achievement …….her step towards a successful life………

PRESENT

Geet was again recalling those days….this was her daily routine…..

She before leaving for work called Mohan…..a twelve year boy who takes care of her father during her absence……she knew that he is still a child….but the need of money made mohan loosing his studies…but at night after coming from work she teaches him….somewhere making herself responsible for his loss……

She went to KHURANA CONSTRUCTIONS……… she works as a junior enginner there ……..and is utmost responsible in her work…… she is the only one who still works with her boss and taking all his anger ….. but she doesn't know the reason……everyone adore this simple and a sweet girl who is always ready to help others with her assets even if it is beyond her reach…….but will she be able to handle the storm that will break her …..that will made her to take a decision that only a devoted daughter can take……..or his love be able to face that hard girl who will face him……… destiny really has something for then that will take their peace of mind ……………
