It was the night of diwali...everyone is enjoying the festival..the whole colony was decorated with lights n it's illuminating like a new bride...everyone is enjoying burning crackers,having sweets with their family but the only person sat alone in his balcony without a glimpse of happiness in eyes...he is smiling looking at people who are enjoying,laughing heartily with their beloved ones but his eyes were teary..he is none other than maan..he is sitting on chair in his balcony n looking at people over there...

Here at geet's place she is also enjoying diwali with her li'l sister meera n anand.her chachu who stood smiling at them when they are enjoying teasing each other..geet is scared of crackers so meera is teasing her n scaring her...meera who recived a call from her friend ran upstairs so that there would be no disturbance of crackers...while talking to her friends she saw maan sitting all alone...she soon finished the call n ran downstairs..

Meera went to geet who is lighting a diya n whispered in her ear"di suno maan jiju.."that's it geet gasped in shock thinking maan came there..her chachu is standing there talking with someone busily on phone...meera burst out laughing looking at her scared face...geet slapped her on her head for teasing her.."ofoo di pehle suno meri baat...maan jiju sat there all alone plz go to him na...bechara akele hai.."..geet felt bad for not noticing him n thought to go.."but meera chachu.."

"offoo di u don't worry mein hoon na..i'll manage.."geet smiled n ran upstairs...she jumped to maan's side through raling n saw maan sitting in balcony looking some where..she came to him on tip toes n closed his eyes from back...for her shock she felt wet on her palms n realised that maan is crying...maan knew that it's none other than geet.."dekho na geet how happy all are...everybody is enjoying with their families..kitna accha lag raha hai na...pata hai jab maa thi we both used to do lots of masti but today(he smiled sadly)iam all alone .."a tear escaped from his eyes..

She understood that he is missing his mom whom he lost few years back..she felt bad for leaving him all alone..

Geet placed her hand on maan's shoulder who closed his eyes in pain..he instantly hugged her tight hiding his face in her stomach.."shhh...chup ho jao maan.."she said caressing his hair

After few minutes she broke the hug n caressed his cheek.."don't ever feel alone maan...tumhari geet hai na tumhare saath..will u not celebrate with me??"maan smiled at her..it's only geet who can make him smile in a second.."wait..mein abhi aathi hoon"n she ran to her home n came back with some crackers...she handed it to maan excitedly which made him look at her amused.."geet mein koi baccha hoon kya.."

She frowned n spoke"why only children will celebrate diwali??and btw u are not an old man too.."she dragged maan to terrace where there is huge open area.

Geet is scared of crackers so she stood li'l far but maan is maan how can he leave her so easily..he is teasing her n sometimes asking her to come..but she is nodding in no..meanwhile,meera also came there to join maan in teasing geet..both are enjoying n maan is jumping like kid while burning crackers along with meera..geet felt happy to see maan like this but poor girl stood there scared closing her ears tight.

Maan n meera thought to do something with her fear..so they dragged her n maan forcefully made her lit a flower pot(cracker)..geet closed her eyes in fear n hid her face in maan's chest.."shona dekho na kuch nahi hoga..see there" geet slowly opened her eyes n amazed to see the sight..slowly slowly she started enjoying with them leaving her fear a side but not leaving maan's hand for a second as there was li'l fear still now.she entangled her hand with maan's n held him tight .maan smiled at her n geet hugged him tight smiling back n mumbling thanku for taking away her fear..

Both are lost in themselves n didn't notice that a pair of eyes were watching them.it's none other than anand,geet's chachu who came to terrace in search of meera n geet..he fumed with anger when he saw maaneet in each other's arms.he heard meera adressing him as jiju n it made him more angry..he didn't say anything n slowly moved from there.but maan saw him when he turned to go.he is not scared of him infact he wants him to know.maan too stayed silent n continued his masti with them as he don't want to ruin geet's mood now becoz geet never wanted his chachu to know about them in this way..she thought to explain everything by herself.

Anand came downstairs to living area n settled himself in couch..he fumed in anger recollecting the sight.meanwhile,his phone rang n he recived the call.."hello mr.anand happy diwali.."some person wished him on phone.."thank u sir.."anand wished him back.again anand spoke fumbling for words.."sir...wo...wo..i just came to know that geet is in love with someone..she wont agree to marry ur son."he said in trembling voice.

"what???u r saying no to me...i don't know..kuch bhi karlo but my son should get whatever he want..he want geet at any cost...and did u forgot ur project...don't u want that??sochlo anand if u get this project then u'll be showered with money"

Anand:ha sir but muje nahi lagtha o maan jayegi kyun ki wo...

"oh shut up!!dont forget that u saying no to me...I can ruin ur business in no time..sochlo geet toh tumhari sagi beti nahi hai but u also have ur own daughter ..don't u want money to secure her future...my son wants geet at any cost n u want money...if u do this then u'll be offered with 6 crores along with project.."

Anand's mouth widened in shock.."6 crores"greediness for money engulfed his face also his love for his daughter faded away...

"ha I'll give u more if u do my work.. i know anand u can do it'and I guess I don't need to tell u the ways to do it.."he said something for which anand smiled wickedly.."samaj gaye??"

"ha ha sir bilkul samaj gaya..u don't worry sir geet is all yours now..aap bas us project aur money ke bhare mein bhool mat jayiye ga.."he smiled wickedly thinking the ways to execute his plan..he even forgot that geet is also his daughter..what if she is not his own daughter but she always respected him n loved him like his father but anand is ready to sell his daugher for his greediness for money,he became selfish at once...money can make a man as well as break him.
