Here maan really dint know who called him as it was new number and changed voice and also dint understand what she said because it was too fast to record anything in his mind. 'koi pagal thi lagta hai " he shake his head and resumed his work.

Geet was very excited next day to tell meera about her chalaaki. She run to her home and shouted from out. Meera came running and panting looking geet this much excited. She asked what happened. Geet told her what she did last day smiling, laughing and animating her hand along with. Meera patted self head listening all this. ' oo God geet..tu sach me pagal hai '

geet looked her confusingly.

'geet .. tune phone bhi kiya aur sorry bhi bola..hai naa' meera said. Geet nodden innocently. ' per tune awaj badal ke phone kiya aur new number se kiya.. hai na" geet again nodded innocently nothing getting in her pea size brain. Suddenly her tubelight turned on .' oo teri.. ye maine kya kiya... mai bhi kitni bhuddu hu... ' she made pout baby face. Meera looked her and laughed.

' geet ..tu bhi na.. achha ab chor .. rona mat shuru karna..hum aur koi raasta nikaal lenge. Thik hai"

geet nodded and both went to collage. In collage and after also, geet was trying to get any idea to say sorry to him. she reached home at noon and doing her chores like robot, without any sense. She took glass and brought water bottle and poured all water next to glass on floor. She took glass and drunk all water knowing not, it was empty. She then went to hall and took phone and pressed button thinking it was tv remote. She was completely lost to think any idea. ' aaj tv bhi kharaab ho gayi..on bhi nahi ho rahi... uff baabji..kya kar rahe ho mere sath aap haan.."she looked up and complained.

Seemed babaji heard her. An brilliant idea (according to her) lightened in her mind. She immediately went to her room, Took fast shower, Changed in new suit, took a file and run to mohindar. He was in hospital when geet reached there panting and asked maan s address as she has to go there

who papa, maan ne phone kiya tha.. unka koi important file ghar me rah gayi hai. Wohi dene jana hai.. au..aurr wo file bahut confidential hai na..to..toh mujhe hi jana hoga.." she said confidently.

Mohindar hesitated first but after geet again n again force he agreed. Mohindar gave her address. She took bus and left to there. About after one and half hour she reached there. it was already started getting dark. She went to site, clutching file to her chest. There sight was very uncommon she felt. All area was desert and surrounded by machinery, concert, irons, woods and everything which could make her fear. She slowly went near. There was some men and women working but all were labors. Her foot steps made some of them look at her . Her beauty was attracting some men. She neared a decent looking man (one eye man in all blinds) and asked ' suniye'

he turned and looked a girl who was alone and very beautiful, that too in this desert and in evening."ji kahiye" he replied eying her.

"mujhe Mr. maan se milna hai" though she was very scared but composed and replied.

" ohh.. aap waha bench pe baithiye..mai maan sir ko bulata hu" saying this he left, directing her the bench. which was some far from there. She sat there. She looked around and found all women left as it was starting darker now. She scared little. She stood to go to ask someone else when saw that man coming back. "woh sir toh office me nahi hai. Shayad kahi aur hai.aap thori der baithiye.. who aate hi honge." he stared her and smile inwardly. She nodded and sat again thinking maan will come soon.

It passed one more hour but maan dint come. Now she started getting restless. She stood to go when that man come and said " aree aap jaa rahi hai ' geet nodded.' haan who..mai kal mil lungi' she said. Man alerted. ' mai asa karta hu ..maan sir ko ek baar phone karta hu' saying this he fake dialed and said in loud sound as he was talking to maan. '

ji sir.. who ek larki aapse milna chahti hai

'naam' he looked her . She told

ji koi geet hai'

ji ..ji sir mai kah dunga..ji aap bas pahuch rahe hai..ji ..ji mai bata dunga unhe" and he cut.

Maan sir ne bola hai ki who bas pahuch rahe hai..app baithiye na.

She was in dilemma what to do. Should wait or not. then she thought maan will drop her home so she could wait more some time at least. she again sat. this time when she searched around and found all labors already left. Only some young men were there. Now she felt they were staring her only. She felt shivered. She looked some men were coming to her slowly. She clutched her duppatta more tight in anticipation. She wanted to run now. She was going to run when a jeep stopped right in front of her. " maan" she whispered and run toward him. He shocked looking her running to him. She stopped in front of him and hugged him tight. He took aback by this sudden action. He dint hug her back but also dint protest. She was shivering. Her heartbeat was very fast. He could feel it. They were stood there for some moment when geet moved back gaining her lost strength. She looked his eyes were questioning her. She left him and straight her dupatta which fell due to hug. Maan was looking her down cast face . he was not getting why she run and hugged. Also she was looking little agitated.

Geet looked up , over maan shoulder. That man was still there. She was staring him without blinking her eyes. Maan looked her eyes was looking someone with disturbed expression. He turned back and found his manager there, stading some far from them. Looking maan s eyes on him , he turned in nervousness. Maan again looked geet and geet looked maan with wet eyes. He understood everything. 'geet..tum jeep me baitho' he ordered her . she nodded and went. Maan looked her , sitting in jeep securely and then turned to manager, stood in front of him , crossing his arm across his broad chest.
