Part 6

Geet was stunned with this all. She thorw rod and tried to wake him up but he didn't. she panicked and run to maan. " maan ..dekhiye na kya hua usse. Maan please deko na.. maine kuch nahi kiya..sachhi maine kuch nahi kiya..wo..woh yaha mere picheee'aurr m..mai d..darr gayii tohh' maan please aap dekho na kya hua usse." She was shaking holding maan s arm behaving like mad. Her body was poorly quivering, sweating, she was death scared and crying, panicking. She was not in her sense. Maan felt bad seeing her in this grave condition. " nahi maan..ye tu kya kar raha hai.. tu iss larki ko nahi chor sakta.. yaad hai na isne kya kya kiya tere saath " he closed his eyes and then opened.

"geet..geett hosh me aao.. ye kya kiya tumne haan.." he shaked her. He went to him and kept his hand under his nose to check if he was alive or not. Geet was looking him with hoped eyes. he nodded no. she started crying hard not knowing what to do now. She sat there keeping her hand on mouth feeling utmost terrified. She was screming. Maan run to her seeing her like this in heart wrenching condition. He was hell frightened looking her. He dint think this much it will effect her . he tried to woke her up . " geettt..geeett look..meri taraf dekho geet..dekho kuch nahi hua..look geet sab thik hai." but she his words were not entering in her mind.. she was in total shock. She was affrighting and crying holding his shoulder. Looking no other option He hugged her tight. Thinking..How to make her realize it all was just a revange game nothing more. He was regretting. He pulled her more to him to concole her . but she was no where listening.

" maine usse maar diya maan ..wo mar gaya " she was blabbering pointing her finger toward that body. Her eyes were swelled, dark and like Red Ocean due to extream cries. She was totally broke down. Maan was now feeling utmost guilt. He dint mean this much. He only was wanting to get back. She was becoming paler. He hugged her tighter and felt her shaking body. he was only waiting for calming her down a little so he could make her understand everything

After sometime he felt her body became light and crying stopped. he moved her back and her head fell back. " geeettt" he panicked. Immediately he lifted her lifeless body and kept on bed. he was shaking her, massaging her palm and feet making it warm but it was getting more n more cold.

He terified. He instently called his family doctor and described her condition. doctor told some medicine. maan couldn't go out leaving geet alone in this condition. He was in deep thought what to do when she stirred little. He run to her and caressed her hair. She was still quivering but after some moment opened her eyes

She looked maan who was impatiently looking her. She remembered everything and hugged him tight. Maan also hugged her back consoling. Geet looked that body behind maan and started sobbing again pointing her finger to him. maan cupped her face and made her look him " geet kuch nahi hua. meri taraf dekho geet. sab thik hai..tumne kuch nahi kiya..kuch bhi nahi" she looked in his eyes. It had some unknown trust . she nodded.

" geet ye sab sirf ek mazak tha. tumhe darane ke liye...ok..asa kuch nahi hua...tumne kuch nahi kiya geet" she nodded. Big tears were sheding from her beautiful eyes. He wiped it. Then geet saw that body was stirring and trying standing. She hides her face in maan s chest. Maan smiled. He looked that man and signaled him go. That man left from there. Geet moved back. Looked that place, which was covered with blood. She felt like vomit.

maan- geet ye blood nahi color hai.

geet looked him. Suddenly everything flash backed in her mind and her facial expression changed confusion to shock to anger to fume. She pushed him back forcefully. She outbrusted him " aap.. aap ki himmat kase hui ye sab karne ki. How dare you maan. Samjhte kya hai aap khud ko. Aapne papa ki jaan bachai toh kuh bhi kar sakto ho mere sath..haa' mai aapki gulaam ho gayi.. sochna bhi mat maan'. Sochna bhi mat kit aap mujhe hurt kar sakte ho.." she pointed her finger to him. " maine jo khuch bhi kya anjaane me kiya par aap.. aap sab jaan bujh kar kar rahe ho.. mai jaanti hu kyu.. kyu aap mera faida utha sako isliye na yahi toh chahte thy na aap ki mai dar kar aapke paas aa jaau aur aap apni hawas puri kar sako haan"

'geettt" maan raised his hand to slap her but stopped in mid way

"kyu mr. maan singh khurana ruk kyu gaye.. .. boliye.. chup kyu hai " geet was not knowing what she said, and how her bitter words effecting to maan.

Maan eyes were spitting fire. He was looking her without blinking as has become exanimate. Geet was crying turning her back to him. maan dint say after that and left her room. Geet after some moments gained her lost mentel and physical strength. she cleaned her room, got fresh and went to kitchen making dinner. at night mohindar returned. geet placed dinner on table. mohindar noticed geet was very quite unlike her. He asked. geet lied as it was very busy schedule in collage as exam was nearing and she is tired. mohindar agreed and dint ask further. Then he noticed maan was not there. he asked. geet said perhaps he had some work so he will be late. mohindar did his dinner and left. Geet settled everything in kitchen and went to her room

It was midnight still maan was not home. geet was still awaked. she was thinking about all what happened. She realized she might over reacted. It was only a revenge game that too he did because of her foolness. She should not have said those harsh words to him. she looked at wall watch . it was 1 at night. She stood up and went to window. it was cloudy outside , could rain any moment." kaha honge woh" she thought.. " mausam bhi kitna khrab hai aur wo toh iis jagah pe anjaan hai. kahi kuch.. chup kar geet.. kya soch rahi hai.. asa kuch nahi hua hoga.aur wo koi bachhe thode hai ki kho jaayenge. .. wo thik homge jaha bhi honge..." she closed het eyes and prayed to her babaji for his safety.

Maan was sitting on a bench over a mountain. He was here since don't know when . only he knew after leaving geet room he drove and halted here. He was not thinking anything. Only some words were running, laughting and scratching his mind.

"aap sab jaan bujh kar kar rahe ho.. mai jaanti hu kyu.. kyu aap mera faida utha sako isliye na'"

"yahi toh chahte thy na , aap ki mai dar kar aapke paas aa jaau aur aap apni hawas puri kar sako haan.."

His eyes were blank. His head was up with closed eyes. his body was drenched with heavy rain. It was dark all over inside and outside him. the only sourse of light was his jeep headlight which was blinking , perhaps describing his mental condition. Like how one after another geet s words were blinking inside his mind. He was not feeling hungry, not feeling cold, not feeling anything. His body fixed there like had been since ages.
