Well, once my teacher told me that Shakuni was actually tortured.. that is his father and brothers were kept in prison and were given a mutthi of food something, which if taken individually isn't sufficient for any of them. SO they all gave it to Shakuni and he survived, and it was told to them that those who would survive only would be appointed as adviser and hence he was appointed and that was the reason he misled the Kauravas which led to their destruction. Err I haven't read it so don't know how much true it is. This is what i heard form our teacher.

Okay this might sound stupid or silly but I have read the epics through Chandamama the children's magazine😆
Anyway I do have them at home but they are in my regional language and yes english does takes out charm but well uh it makes life simpler you know. Reading in regional language is like doing the work 10 times slower..

You are talking about Hai bujji right? (It has the symbol of a smiley with a cap) I loved that truly, we actually tried contributing to that paper too. My bhai's friend contributed to it, sent some story, a real experience and it got published. While I, on the other hand sent articles to Gokulam, children's magazine. Rofl. I was always comfortable in writing English bachpan se. I can read and write Telugu very well Nammu but just that my reading speed in english is far far better. Oh your third language is Telugu? My third language was English, second language was Telugu. 🤣
Eenadu paper's language was so formal and it always attracted me and I used to wait for that Hai Bujji every week. By the way girl, you've studied it for two years and you can read it comfortably, wow that's amazing. Even I read Young world even today🤣
