CELEBRATIONS AND SURPRISE

His question left her at a loss for words, she didn't know what to say? how to reply? what to reply? she looked on, into his hypnotic eyes that pierced her soul and was searching for an answer.

She could feel her insides melting under his heated gaze. There seem to be an uncanny tension between the two of them and for a few minutes everything stood still, as if nothing mattered, no one mattered! their trance was broken when the limousine suddenly halted and the driver announced their arrival home!
Maan immediately composed himself and opened the door for Geet extending his hand for her saying"welcome home!" She seemed disoriented and flustered and was reeling under the effect of what just transpired between them in the car, when she got down. She marveled at Maan's control over his emotions and the way he looked like nothing had happened, as if all the while he was being the perfect escort to his boss's daughter! the man was powerful not only because he was her father's most trusted knight but also because he was always kept himself guarded from emotions and Love.But then what did she see in the car a while ago, was it her imagination? No, cant be, it was true, it was his emotions this time that were creating havoc within him and she had sensed it in that one question. Before she could comprehend more she was engulfed into a warm hug and it was only then that she had realized that it was her Pa, welcoming her back home. She held on to him like a baby and couldn't stop herself from crying. She looked up through blurred vision, due to the tears and saw her father The Business Moghul smiling at her and saying ' welcome home my sweetheart, welcome, i missed you'.
As soon as she gained her composure she was furious wiyh her Dad, as the way she was called in, the urgency in Maan's voice and then an unfinished message from her Dad kept her worried and sleepless until she reached home, it had given her the impression that something had gone terribly wrong with her Dad.
Maan looked on, as Geet complained and fought with her dad, the servants had all come in to meet their darling Geet baby! And there he could see Dai ma, she brought Geet up, Geet ran into her arms, touched her feet, she seemed so happy, so pure, so serene.

She looked so serene. After ages, had it happened that the Handa Mansion reverberated in her laughter. The walls came alive hearing her musical voice and her glowing face was giving competition to the chandeliers in the hall, as her face was emitting more light than any of them, she seemed so happy ,so alive. The heiress was back and the subjects were rejoicing her return including the king, who was seen smiling, laughing and enjoying every moment of his daughter's return! And in happiness he announced a grand celebration the very evening where he had a surprise in store for his darling princess. All the top notches from the business world, diplomats, bureaucrats, and all the who's who of the country were invited for the grand celebration! Maan looked on, and he felt a strange sense of satisfaction seeing Geet around. She brought with her some much positivity that even Maan couldn't escape her charm. He smiled to himself at the thought of tonight's party, he already had clue, about what Mr. Handa had in store for Geet, and he just couldn't stop himself from imagining her stunned face with her mouth forming into a perfect o. "Damn she looked so cute and sexy!" He smirked to himself and walked away. Maan Singh Khurana walked out, humming to himself, he was happy, brimming with joy from within but he didn't let anyone from the exterior how excited he was for tonight's encounter with Geet at the party. A big Surprise was on its way. Even when she was greeting all at the hall Maan didn't miss her stealing glances at him every now and then. He had left her speechless in the car and from her expressions it seemed that she was trying to read his face, to break the wall around him that he had built over the years and he never let anyone beyond it. For once he had let his guard down and let her witness a flicker of emotions that were actually whirling within him playing havoc with his senses and then he could see the surprise, the amazement, the happiness in her eyes for what she had witnessed, as if she had been waiting for ages to see that in his eyes. Before he could read further, they were disturbed by the driver, announcing their arrival Home. "Never mind, Geet, we'll meet again and again and again! Even I want to see you again, keep on seeing you, I just cant wait for tonight to come, when we'll come face to face yet again" he smiled and left the premises of the Handa's in his convertible Ferrari, a generous gift from his generous boss MR. MOHINDER HANDA. But he was more excited about the gift he was about to give tonight at the party. He has always been his favourite. His friend philosopher, confidante and Maan too respected him, trusted him, he looked upto him as his mentor.
