Next morning a new ray of hope, a fresh morning. Sun rays fell on maan's face he opened his eyes only to see his jaan and his princess is sleeping on him peacefully. Maanvi is sleeping on maan's chest and geet is hugging both maan and maanvi by their waist and is sleeping with a smile playing on her face. After a long time maan saw geet's face so pleasant and fresh. Last few weeks were not more than a roller coaster ride for them. First maanvi'a operation, then swetha, then sid and then police, vinod's shot. But because of all this happenings they are again happy.
Maan looked at geet and kissed her forehead, he then kissed his princess cheek. Maanvi stirred a little, maan slowly placed maanvi beside geet and covered both of them with duvet and left to washroom to freshen up. Later he went down to see vinod reading news paper and shilpa doing work in kitchen.
Good morning bhai wished maan.
Good morning maan wished vinod and smiled. Shilpa came out of kitchen and maan wished her too.
Shilpa smiled and told I will bring coffee for you maan.
Arey bhabhi, you rest I will prepare told maan.
Its ok maan, I will don't worry told shilpa and smiled.
As you wish bhabhi told maan. Just then they heard geet's voice, who is still sleepy and rubbing her eyes with back of her hand like a small child.
Bhabhi, coffee for me also told geet and sat beside maan closing her eyes.
Chi chi geet you are asking bhabhi to do work. You know na she should not work much told maan.
Ha geet, how can u ask your bhabhi asked vinod. Geet snapped her eyes open and looked at vinod with wide eyes and told bhai, this is cheating. You should take my side and she pouted.
Shilpa laughed out loud and told maan, vinod why you are teasing geet. Let me do work, its my family and ihave right to do.
That's like my bhabhi. Dekha dekha bhabhi is my side told geet smiling widely. All smiled at her childish acts.
Later they all got ready and got down with luggage. Maanvi is all excited and jumping in maan's arms. She is excited that she drank milk silently and did what geet told without throwing any tantrums. Maan, geet, maanvi, vinod, shilpa and karthik in 2 different cars and left to airport.
Vinod and shilpa are so much eager to meet their family and their home. Shilpa held vinod's hand tight not hurting his injury. Soon they reached airport and boarded the flight.
Dada.. whelr all we gloing (dad, where are we going?) asked maanvi.
We are going to home bacha told maan.
Hlome?? Why?? Asked maanvi.
Because our family is there told maan and smiled.
Maanvi is in deep thought and smiled widely. After some time she fell asleep. Geet rested her head on maan's shoulder.

I am nervous.

I don't know.
Maan smiled and told don't be, no one is going to ask you anything now. just relax and enjoy.

Soon they reached delhi and made their way to KM. Here Rishab, Priya, Anand, Vijaya are eagerly waiting for their children to come. Vinod is coming for the first time and geet is coming after 2 years with their child. Both ladies prepared aarthi is thaali and are waiting for them.
They reached KM and got down of the car. Geet smiled seeing her home back. She took maanvi and told this is our house mannu.
Maanvi looked here and there and smiled. She liked the house mainly the garden outside. Shilpa is looking tensed. She clutched vinod's hand tight. He blinked his eyes assuring her not to worry.
Hearing the car sound Priya and Vijaya came out running and saw their children. They smiled widely and went towards them. Geet hugged both with tears in her eyes. She is so happy to be back home and seeing all of them happy after a long time. Vinod came and took their blessings. They saw the bandage on his shoulder and got worried. But vinod told its just an accident.
Shilpa came forward and took their blessings. They looked at her confused.
Mom, mama she is my bhabhi told geet excitedly.
Priya and Vijaya looked at shilpa and blessed her. Not only their son but daughter-in-law also came. Their happiness has no bounds.
And mom you are going to become dadi told geet.
Oh this is wonderful news. Vijaya hugged shilpa and welcomed her to her house. Vijaya and priya did aarthi to vinod-shilpa and maan-geet-maanvi and allowed them in. Karthik is happy seeing the whole family happy.
Anand and Rishab met shilpa and blessed her. Vinod looked around the house and smiled through tears. This is his home, finally he is with his family. What he needed more than that. Elders talked with them for sometime and asked them to rest.
Geet took maanvi and went to maan's room. She is shocked to find it empty and is very dusty.
Maan went to outhouse to freshen up, when geet left KM, maan couldn't stay anymore in KM and he shifted to outhouse.
Geet came down and asked her mama.
Mama, why maan's room is empty asked geet.
Beta, he will be in outhouse told priya.
Outhouse, but why? Asked geet.
Priya looked at geet with tears and told tumare jaane ke baad sab kuch badal gaya geet. Tum hamari ghar ki raunak thi. Maan bohot badal chukka tha inn do saal mein. Now I am seeing our old maan back. He shifted to km after you left and he never talked with any of us. 24 hours he use to do work work and work. He use to hurt himself.
Listening this geet had tears in her eyes. She hugged priya and cried.
I am sorry mama, I am so sorry told geet.
Beta, aapni maan ko iss ghar mein wapas lana hain. Tum karogi nay eh kaaam? Asked priya with hope.

Geet left to outhouse leaving maanvi with mama.
She entered his bed room and found he is packing his bag. May be now he decided to come back to KM.
Maan called geet and hugged him from back.
Maan, tumne aisa kyun kiya. I hate you maan. Mama told me everything. I never expected this from you. I was not there for 2 years and you became like this. You left KM and living in outhouse. You never talked with anyone and became rude ha?
Maan turned her around and wiped her tears.
My life was hell without you geet. Geet tum meri jaan ho, mere jaan kebina main kaisa rahunga. And KM mein I couldn't, all our memories use to haunt me and I was so helpless geet. I am sorry geet. I am coming back to KM told maan and kissed her forhead.
Geet smiled and then made a angry face.
Maan, you will get punishment for everything. One you didn't care of yourself, two you left KM and stayed in outhouse, three you re terror in office and all are scared of you. Tum mere maan nahi ho. Mere maan ko kabhi gussa nahi ata. And for all your mistakes you will get punishment told geet angrily.
Maan looked at her with wide eyes and murmured mar gaya.
Kya kaha tumne? Asked geet angrily.
Maan gulped and told ku.. kuch nahi.
That's better. And your punishment is' she then glared at maan.
Is?? Asked maan curiously.
You should not go to office for a month and enjoy with family told geet.
What?? Are you mad I have lot of work in office shouted maan literally.
2 months.
Geeet.
3 months.
Ok ok I wont go to office for a month told maan.
And your next punishment is..
Aur bhi hain kya?? Asked maan making baby face.
Yes.. told geet.
Ok go on told maan making sad face.
And that is you should never be angry and rude. You should always be smiling told geet.
Maan smiled and told when you are near me I will be happy geet.
Geet hugged maan and told chalo we will go to our house. Maan nodded and they left for KM.
All are happy seeing maan in KM. And that day vijaya arranged dinner for every one in HM.
Bhabhi, all our kids are back. I am thinking of karthik-shanti's marriage told priya.
Ha priya, I am also thinking about the same told vijaya.
Saath mein maan-geet ki shaadi bhi hajai told vinod. Maan and geet looked at him shocked.
Elders smiled at the idea and they called panditji the next day. He told the marriage date is after 15 days. Vijaya is very happy with shilpa. She is not less than a daughter for them.
All are busy in marriage preparations. Geet and sudha didn't leave a chance to tease shanti and vice versa. Finally the marriage day has come and every one are happy.
Geet got ready in a red color lehenga and with matching jewellary and their princess maanvi wore Pink color frock looking like a angel. Geet took maanvi in her arms and climbed down the stairs. Maan looked at geet and he rooted at the spot seeing his jaan and princess. The two angels of my life thought maan and smiled.
Then shanti too came down in a green color lehenga and is blushing furiously. Karthik kept looking at her. After that marriage took place and both the couples took blessing from the elders and maanvi is so excited to see all this. Maan took her in his arms and kissed her.
All the rituals took place and priya welcomed her 2 daughter-in-laws and completed all the rituals. Here geet is waiting for maan in their bedroom and shanti is waiting for karthik. They both paid the fees for their sudha di and shilpa bhabhi and got into the room. But maanvi is crying not finding her dada and mama. Maan smiled and took maanvi from sudha and entered their bedroom. Geet smiled seeing maanvi and took her. She kissed her cheek and changed her dress. Maanvi slept between maan and geet. She hugged maan tight. They all slept peacefully.
Their new life started and maan's happiness have no bounds. For him 24 hours is very less. As promised he took 1 month leave from office and maan and geet, karthik and shanti went to honeymoon for 15 days in swizerland with maanvi with them. Maanvi enjoyed each and evry moment with her parents. Maan became more and more naughty.
After honeymoon, they came back to delhi and their routine life started. Maan and geet joined office and geet is co-MD of KT.
Maanvi use to miss her parents during day time. But daily she use to go to office to meet her dada and mama. They use to have lunch together.
After few months shilpa delivered a baby boy. All khurana's and handa's are very happy. Vinod's happiness have no bounds.
Not to forget swetha and sid. Swetha got 5 years prisonment and sid got 12 years. Finally everything is settled and maneet with their kid are living a happy life.
Many of them tried to separate maan and geet, but atlast true love won and now they are together and happy.
So friends this is the journey of MANEET in DISTANCE BRINGS US CLOSER. I am so sad while typing the last part. This is my first FF and it ended today. I thank each and every one for supporting me through out this journey.
